The Archdiocese of Monaco (Latin: Archidioecesis Monoecensis) is an exempt Latin ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of the Catholic Church in Monaco, directly subject to the Holy See, not part of any ecclesiastical province. The archdiocese's mother church and thus seat of its archbishop is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception (Saint Nicholas's or Monaco Cathedral). Dominique-Marie David was appointed Archbishop of Monaco by Pope Francis on 21 January 2020.

Monaco City (French: Monaco-Ville [mɔnakɔ vil]; Monégasque: Mùnegu Autu) is the southcentral ward in the Principality of Monaco. Located on a headland that extends into the Mediterranean Sea, it is nicknamed The Rock (French: Le Rocher; Monégasque: A Roca). The name "Monaco City" is misleading: it is not itself a city, but a historical and statistical district. It holds most of the country's political and judicial institutions: the Prince's Palace, the town hall, the government, the National Council (parliament of Monaco), the Municipal Council, the courts and a prison (hanging on The Rock).

The Rock of Monaco (French: Rocher de Monaco; Monégasque: Roca de Mùnegu) is a 62-metre (203 ft) tall monolith on the Mediterranean coast of the Principality of Monaco. It overlooks the Mediterranean Sea and the Port Hercules.

The Cathedral of Our Immaculate Lady (in French language: Cathédrale de Notre-Dame-Immaculée), formerly called the Cathedral of Saint Nicholas (demolished in 1874), or informally the Cathedral of Monaco (French: Cathédrale de Monaco), is the Roman Catholic national cathedral of the Archdiocese of Monaco in Monaco-Ville, Monaco, where many of the Grimaldi Royal members are buried, including former Grace, Princess of Monaco and Rainier III. The cathedral is dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary under the venerated title of the Immaculate Conception. It was built from 1875 to 1903 and consecrated on 11 June 1911. It is on the site of the first parish church in Monaco, built in 1252 and dedicated to its patron Saint Nicholas. Notable within the shrine are the retable (circa 1500) to the right of the transept, the High Altar and the Episcopal throne constructed in white Carrara marble. Pontifical services take place on the major religious festivals, such as the Feast of Sainte Dévote (27 January) and the National Day of Monaco (19 November). On feast days and during religious music concerts, one can hear the four-manual organ, inaugurated in 1976. From September through June, singers of the Cathedral Choir School perform during Catholic Mass every Sunday at 10:00 A.M. Services is also annually celebrated on Saint Nicholas Day on 6 December, when primary children gather for a remembrance of the life of Saint Nicholas.

The Chapel of Mercy (French: La Chapelle de la Miséricorde) is a Roman Catholic church on the Rue Basse in Monaco's Monaco-Ville district.The chapel was built in 1639 and served as the seat of the Brotherhood of the Black Penitents. Honoré II, Prince of Monaco, served as the brotherhood's first prior. The interior decoration features wooden sculpture by François Joseph Bosio.

The Princess Grace Irish Library is a library situated in Monaco named after Princess Grace, the wife and consort of Prince Rainier III. Among its collections of Irish literature, the library hosts the personal collection of Irish books and music that belonged to Grace, whose paternal relatives came from County Mayo, Ireland. The library was established in November 1984 by Prince Rainier, in memory of his wife.

The Oceanographic Museum (Musée océanographique) is a museum of marine sciences in Monaco-Ville, Monaco. This building is part of the Institut océanographique, which is committed to sharing its knowledge of the oceans.

The Lycée Albert Premier of Monaco (or the Albert 1st of Monaco High School) is a prestigious public secondary school founded in 1910 in the Principality of Monaco. The school offers courses according to the curriculum prescribed by the French Directorate of National Education, Youth and Sports. It is located in Monaco-Ville on the Rock, site of the Visitation.

The Council of Government of Monaco is the Prince's governing body. It consists of six members: Minister of State, who chairs the council, and the five members (four counsellors and one delegate); he also has voting rights, and has control of both the police and military. Counsellor for Internal Affairs, Counsellor for Finance and Economy, Counsellor for Public Works, the Environment and Urban Planning, Counsellor for Social Affairs and health, Counsellor for Foreign Relations and Cooperation. The Council debates projects and bills proposed to the Prince by the other governmental councils, executive ordinances approved by the Prince, the Minister of State's ministerial orders, and other miscellaneous policy.

The Museum of the Chapel of Visitation (French: Museé de la Chapelle de la Visitation) is an art museum and Roman Catholic chapel in the Monaco-Ville ward of Monaco. The baroque chapel dates from the 17th-century.From 1995, the museum was the home of the Barbara-Piasecka Johnson Collection, a collection of Old Master paintings collected by Barbara Piasecka Johnson. The collection was removed from the chapel in May 2014 in preparation for its eventual sale at Christie's auction house in July 2014.

The Remand Prison, or Maison d'Arrêt is a prison in the Principality of Monaco located on 4 Avenue Saint-Martin, 98000 Monaco. The prison includes four cellblocks, a chapel, and a prison yard. The Remand Prison is known for its sea view and is sometimes referred to a 5-star prison, however according to the elected representatives of the National Council, who visited the Remand prison, it is a misstatement. The Director of the Remand Prison is Jean-Yves Gambarini.

The International School of Monaco (ISM) is an independent, co-educational, not-for-profit day school located in Monaco. Founded in 1994, ISM has over 800 students aged 3 to 18 years old, drawn from over 50 nationalities. ISM offers a bilingual education in English and French for students in the Primary School (Kindergarten to Year 6). From Year 7 onwards, the Secondary School offers a programme taught in English, leading to internationally-recognised academic qualifications. The University of Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations are offered at the end of Year 11, following a two-year course of study. The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) examinations are offered at the end of Year 13, following a two-year course of study. The school offers both the IBDP and, since September 2020, the IBCP (International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme). Based on the IB results from its 2021 graduating cohort, ISM was ranked in the top three IB schools in the EU / EEA by ib-schools.com. The Spear's School Index 2021, in partnership with global education group Carfax Education, ranked ISM in the top 10 best private schools in Europe (not including Switzerland and the UK). The school retained its position in the Carfax Schools Index in 2022 and 2023.
