Vedbæk railway station

Vedbæk is a wealthy suburban neighbourhood on the coast north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It belongs to Rudersdal Municipality and has merged with the town of Hørsholm to the north. The area has been inhabited for at least 7,000 years, as evidenced by the discovery of a Mesolithic cemetery of the Ertebølle culture. By the 16th century, there were a few small farms and fishermen's houses on the site and in the 18th century, well-to-do townsfolk from Copenhagen started to build country houses in the area. After a paddle steamer began to call at Vedbæk on its journey from Copenhagen to Helsingør, there was an influx of visitors. There are a number of large country houses and a historic church. There has been a railway station for some time and there are popular sandy beaches to the north and south. Enrum Forest is open to the public and provides recreational facilities.

Strandridergården is a historic country house situated on Vedbæk Strandvej (No. 506) in Vedbæk, Rudersdal Municipality, some 30 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It was built in 1895 for vintner Georg Bestle to designs by architect and designer Thorvald Bindesbøll.

Enrum is a listed mansion on Strandvejen in Vedbæk, Rudersdal Municipality, some 20 kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Trørød Forest (Danish: Trørød Skov or Trørød Hegn), between Trørød and Vedbæk, is a small forest in Rudersdal Municipality, approximately 20 kilometres north of Copenhagen, Denmark. It adjoins the bog Maglemosen on the north as well as Enrum Forest.

Rolighed is a former country house in Skodsborg, Rudersdal Municipality, approximately 16 km north of Copenhagen, Denmark. Trørød is a suburban district in Rudersdal Municipality, located approximately 20 kilometres north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The original village has merged with the neighbouring communities of Vedbæk and Gammel Holte and now form the southernmost part of the urban agglomeration of Hørsholm. It is on the other sides surrounded by open farmland and the forests Jægersborg Hegn, Kohave Forest and Trørød Forest.

Skodsborg Station is a regional railway station serving the suburb and seaside resort of Skodsborg, about 20 km north of central Copenhagen, Denmark. The station is located on the Coast Line between Helsingør and Copenhagen. The train services are currently operated by Danish State Railways (DSB) which runs a frequent regional rail service to Copenhagen Central Station. Skodsborg is a quiet residential neighbourhood and the station sees mostly local traffic.

Skodsborg is a small town/suburb approx. 20 km. north of Copenhagen, Denmark. The town has a population of 1,256 (1 January 2023) and lies in Rudersdal Kommune. The town is a coastal town but doesn't have a marina. The town has good beach access from the Strandvej and from the houses along the shore. A wide beach allows easy access along the coast. The western side of Skodsborg borders the Jægersborg Dyrehave with miles of trails for hiking and cycling. The town is connected with the Oresundtrain and with buses to neighboring communities.

Rungstedlund, also known as the Karen Blixen Museum, is a country house in Rungsted on the Øresund coast just north of Copenhagen, Denmark, notable for its association with the author Karen Blixen, who lived there for most of her life. She was born on the estate in 1885, and returned there after her years in Kenya, chronicled in her 1937 book Out of Africa, to do most of her writings. The property is today managed by the Rungstedlund Foundation as a writer's house museum.

Folehaveskoven, or Folehave Skov, is a forest in Hørsholm on the northern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. It is part of a complex of smaller woodlands which also comprises Rungsted Hegn to the north, Deputatvang and Øster Sandbjerg to the south. It is bisected by the east–west running Folehavevej and is to the east bounded by the Coast Line.

Nærum (Danish pronunciation: [ˈneːʁɔm]) is a suburban district in Rudersdal Municipality in the north outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. Quartered by the Helsingør Motorway running north–south and Skodsborgvej running east–west, Nærum is bounded by Jægersborg Hegn on the south and east, Geel's Forest on the west, open fields on the north and the Søllerød district on the northwest. 5230 people live in the parish of Nærum, most of them in low-rise concrete blocks or single-family houses.
