CKRY-FM is a Canadian radio station that broadcasts a country format at 105.1 FM in Calgary, Alberta. The station uses its on-air brand name Country 105. The station is owned by Corus Entertainment, which also owns sister stations CHQR, CFGQ-FM, CICT-DT, and CISA-DT. CKRY's studios are located on 17th Ave SW near Westbrook Mall, while its transmitter is located at 85th Street Southwest and Old Banff Coach Road in western Calgary. As of Winter 2020, CKRY is the 5th-most-listened-to radio station in the Calgary market according to a PPM data report released by Numeris. Country 105 has been awarded Station of the Year several times, most recently in 2019.A transmitter located in Banff, Alberta, rebroadcasts the station at 93.3 FM. In December 2015, CKRY launched HD Radio services, becoming the first station in Alberta to do so. Their HD2 sub-channel airs a simulcast of sister station CHQR. On April 1. 2016, Corus acquired Shaw Media, giving CKRY two TV stations (CISA and CICT) for additional sister networks. CKRY is simulcast across Canada on Bell Satellite TV satellite channel 968.

Centennial Place is a building complex located in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada, which includes a 39-storey 182.6 m (599 ft) and 23-storey 165.2 m (542 ft) office tower. The complex was named to honour Alberta's Centennial year. The complex includes an underground five-level parkade with 793 stalls. The office space covers 1,200,000 sq ft (110,000 m2). Construction of Centennial Place started in 2006 and was completed in 2010 at a cost of $320-million ($388.94 million in 2021). The property's sustainability features include curtain wall technology, motion sensors on lighting controls, low-flow plumbing fixtures, a high-efficiency heating and cooling plant, and a green roof with 30% of its surface planted. In 2010, the complex was certified LEED Gold for Core and Shell Development and LEED Platinum for Existing Buildings: Operations and Maintenance. The buildings are owned and operated Oxford Properties. The roof of the 39-floor east tower rises to a height of 165.2 m (542 ft), with the spire reaching a height of 182.6 m (599 ft). The roof of the 23-floor west tower rises to a height of 100.1 m (328 ft), with a spire that is 117.6 m (386 ft) tall. As of 2020, Centennial Place I is listed by the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat as the 8th tallest building in Calgary, and 52nd tallest in Canada.Centennial Place's tenants include Vermilion Energy, Borden Ladner Gervais, MLT Aikins, Divestco, Baytex Energy, AER, Murphy Oil, the Alberta Securities Commission, Sabre Well Servicing Inc., Spencer Stuart and OMERS Worldwide.

Calgary Courts Centre is the largest court facility in Canada, and is located in Calgary, Alberta. It was constructed by the Government of Alberta and provides over 1 million square feet (90,000 m²) of court and office space.

The Southam Building was a ten-storey office tower located at 130 7th Avenue Southwest in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Designed by Montreal architectural firm Brown and Vallance and built between 1912 and 1913, the Southam Building was one of Calgary's best examples of Gothic Revival architecture. Between 1913 and 1932 the building housed the offices of the Calgary Daily Herald, during which time it was also known as the Herald Building. It later served as a Greyhound Bus terminal and was known as the Greyhound Building. The Southam Building was demolished in 1972. The Southam Building was one of two buildings at the intersection of 1st Street South West and 7th Avenue South West built contemporaneously by the Southam Company, the other being the Southam Chambers.

The Barron Building is an eleven-storey office tower located at 610 8th Avenue Southwest in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Designed by architect Jack Cawston and built between 1949 and 1951, it is one of Canada's foremost examples of Art Moderne-style architecture. In 2003 it was named by the Alberta Association of Architects as Significant Alberta Architecture.

Devon Tower (formerly known as Canterra Tower) is a skyscraper in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Located at 400 3rd Avenue SW, it stands at 177 metres (581 ft) or 45 storeys tall. The building was completed in 1988 and was designed by WZMH Architects in the postmodern style. It was built with glass curtain walls on all sides. The building is owned and managed by global real estate investor, developer and owner Oxford Properties, and major tenants in the building include Devon Canada, an oil and gas company and Norton Rose Fulbright LLP, one of Canada's largest law firms.

The neighbourhood of Eau Claire in Calgary, Alberta, Canada is located immediately north of Downtown, and south of the Bow River and north of 4th Avenue. A mix of riverside condominiums, shopping, restaurants, hotels, a large public plaza and urban parkland make Eau Claire one of Calgary's most popular areas. Contained within Eau Claire is the city's Festival District. The area, which was developed from reclaimed industrial land, fronts the Bow River and sits immediately north of 3rd Avenue South. North of Eau Claire is Prince's Island Park, a large urban park on an island in the Bow River and the site of many summer festivals, including the Calgary Folk Music Festival, Carifest, Shakespeare in the Park and various busking happenings. Within Eau Claire is Eau Claire Market and a variety of pubs and restaurants. It is also located on the city's large network of pedestrian pathways and trails, along the Bow River pathway.

Eighth Avenue Place is a 1,850,000 sq ft (172,000 m2) twin-tower building complex located in downtown Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The complex includes a 49-storey 212 m (696 ft) East tower, 40-storey 177 m (581 ft) West office tower, and a three-storey indoor urban park.The complex is housed on the site of the former Penny Lane Mall, originally intending to keep the historic name as "Penny Lane Towers", the project has since been renamed.

The Petrofina Building, also known as the Fina Building or Petro Fina Building, is an 11-story structure located at 736 8 Avenue SW in downtown Calgary, Alberta. Completed in 1960, was originally constructed as an office tower for the Antwerp-based Petrofina which utilized it as the Calgary headquarters for its Canadian subsidiary, Canadian Fina Oil Limited. It continued to be used as an office tower until the early 2020s but began suffering from vacancy issues. In 2025, it was converted into a residential building with 103 units.
