Luxembourg House is a historic mansion located at 17 Beekman Place, Midtown Manhattan, New York City, owned by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. It is home to the Permanent Mission of Luxembourg to the United Nations, the Consulate General of Luxembourg in New York, the Luxembourg Trade and Investment Office and the activities of the Luxembourg-American Chamber of Commerce. It hosts a number of international relations, international trade and cultural activities for the European country of Luxembourg. The property is territory of the country of Luxembourg providing it all diplomatic rights and privileges.

Peter Detmold Park is a 0.59-acre (0.24 ha) public park in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, United States. Located on a narrow strip of land on the west side of the FDR Drive, the park runs from East 49th to 51st streets and was originally developed as a result of the construction of the adjacent highway in the early 1940s. The park was named after Peter Detmold in 1972 and can be accessed from a staircase leading down from the east end of East 51st Street or a street-level entrance on East 49th Street across from MacArthur Playground.

MacArthur Playground, officially named General Douglas MacArthur Memorial Park, is a 0.33-acre (0.13 ha) public park in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York, United States. The park is located on the east end of the block bounded by First Avenue, General Douglas MacArthur Plaza, and East 48th and 49th streets, immediately to the north of the Headquarters of the United Nations. The park and plaza, the latter of which is a north–south street that runs for a single block between the playground and the FDR Drive, were named after Douglas MacArthur in October 1964. The park was donated to the city by Alcoa Plaza Associates, the developer of the adjacent mixed-use building at 860-870 United Nations Plaza.

The Beekman Tower, also known as the Panhellenic Tower, is a 26-story Art Deco skyscraper situated at the corner of First Avenue and East 49th Street in Midtown Manhattan, in New York City. The building was constructed between 1927 and 1928 to a design by John Mead Howells. The Beekman Tower had been built for the Panhellenic Association's New York chapter as a club and hotel for women in college sororities. However, due to a lack of patronage, it was opened up to non-sorority women and to men by the mid-1930s. It was later converted into a hotel and then corporate apartments. The Beekman Tower contains a design with numerous setbacks, chamfers at its corners, and a massing that abuts onto the boundaries of its lot. Its sculptural ornamentation was designed by Rene Paul Chambellan in the Art Deco style with Gothic influences. In 1998, the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission made the building an official city landmark.

P.S. 135 (Public School 135), also known as P.S. 35 (Public School 35), is a historic school building located at 931 First Avenue at East 51st Street in the Turtle Bay neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City. It was built in 1892 on the site of "Mount Pleasant", the estate of James Beekman. The school was designed by George W. Debevoise in the Romanesque revival style., and has been at various times a community center, a homeless shelter and a nursery school, as well as the United Nations International School. There was an addition made to the building in 1904. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. A condominium tower was built inside the facade of the building in 2000.

It was once located in Carroll Gardens: 54–57 The church is a part of Norwegian Church Abroad within the Church of Norway. Founded in 1864, The Norwegian Church Abroad was established to secure the moral and religious education of Scandinavian seafarers. The church has been working in New York City since 1878. It has been in the present building from 1992. The church is a well-established religious, social and cultural meeting point for Norwegians in America. A guest room in the top floor is rented out to tourists and others.

The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre is a full-time professional conservatory for actors in New York City. First operational from 1915 to 1927, the school re-opened in 1928 and has been active ever since.
