Tumanyan Park

The TUMO Center for Creative Technologies (Armenian: Թումո ստեղծարար տեխնոլոգիաների կենտրոն) is a free education program for teenagers aged 12–18 specializing in technology and design, with education being provided at various TUMO centers and hubs. The first TUMO center opened in Yerevan, Armenia in 2011. There are currently four TUMO centers in Armenia and Artsakh. These are located in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri, and Stepanakert with 6 TUMO boxes operating in neighboring towns. Eight additional centers exist outside of Armenia in Paris, Beirut, Moscow, Tirana, Berlin, Lyon, Zürich, and Kyiv. Plans for new centers and TUMO Boxes both in Armenia and abroad (California, Tokyo, and Astana) are currently under development.In 2017, TUMO Studios, a non-profit outfit that provides a creative space for several different types of artistic design, from pottery, jewelry-making, and fashion to cooking and embroidery, was launched. TUMO Studios is geared towards young professionals from the ages of 16–28. On February 19, 2018, at the World Congress on Information Technology conference in Hyderabad, India, TUMO received the "Implementation of the Digital Century" award. In 2019, TUMO announced plans for TUMO Box, a mobile, technically equipped mini-center. Boxes can be installed in any city or village and serve as self-study areas for local youth. TUMO Boxes are open in Gavar, Berd, Vayk, Sevan, Kapan, and Martakert. Plans are in the works for TUMO Box programs in other towns and villages.2019 also saw the launch of the EU TUMO Convergence Center for Engineering and Applied Sciences. The center will be located adjacent to TUMO's Yerevan campus on a 25,000 square meter space, serving as a hub for research, education, and startups. The center will also house a branch of the French University in Armenia and School 42, a prominent French-based programming school geared towards young professionals. TUMO received the 2019 Europe Nostra Award in Education, Training and Outreach. The award is routinely given to organizations and individuals who make significant contributions in the areas of conservation, research and dedicated service.

Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concerts Complex (Armenian: Կարեն Դեմիրճյանի անվան մարզահամերգային համալիր), also known as Demirchyan Arena, Sports & Music Complex, or simply Hamalir (for complex in Armenian), is a large multi-purpose sports and concert complex with 184 stairs leading up Tsitsernakaberd hill which dominates over the western parts of Yerevan, near the Hrazdan River gorge. The complex consists of two main halls; the Concerts hall and the Sports hall, in addition to the large foyer, Hayastan conference hall and Argishti hall designated for diplomatic meetings, exhibitions and other events. In August 2015, the government of Armenia decided to sell the complex to a private firm with plans to renovate the complex and turn it into a "family-oriented center".

Haybusak University of Yerevan, (Armenian: Երևանի Հայբուսակ Համալսարան) is a private university in Armenia.

Imeni Tairova is a neighbourhood in the Yerevan Province of Armenia. The location is named after theatre director Alexander Tairov.

Ajapnyak (Armenian: Աջափնյակ վարչական շրջան, romanized: Ajapnyak varch’akan shrjan), is one of the 12 districts of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. Located to the northwest of the city centre, Ajapnyak has common borders with the districts of Arabkir from the east, Davtashen from the north, Kentron from the southeast, and Malatia-Sebastia from the south. Hrazdan River forms the natural border of the district from the east. Ajapnyak has also common borders with the provinces of Armavir and Aragatsotn from the west, and Kotayk from the north.

The Armenian Genocide Memorial complex (Armenian: Հայոց ցեղասպանության զոհերի հուշահամալիր, Hayots tseghaspanutyan zoheri hushahamalir, or Ծիծեռնակաբերդ, Tsitsernakaberd) is Armenia's official memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian genocide, built in 1967 on the hill of Tsitsernakaberd (Armenian: Ծիծեռնակաբերդ) in Yerevan. Every year on 24 April, the Armenian Genocide Remembrance Day, thousands of Armenians gather at the memorial to commemorate the victims of the genocide. The people who gather in Tsiternakaberd lay fresh flowers out of respect for all the people who died in the Armenian genocide. Over the years, from around the world, a wide range of politicians, artists, musicians, athletes, and religious figures have visited the memorial. The Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute (Հայոց ցեղասպանության թանգարան-ինստիտուտ Hayots tseghaspanut'yan tangaran-institut) was opened in 1995.

Buenos Aires Park (Armenian: Բուենոս Այրեսի այգի (Buenos Ayresi aygi)) is a public park in the Ajapnyak District of Yerevan, Armenia. It is located at the northeastern corner of Halabyan-Margaryan intersection, near the Armenia Republican Medical Centre, on the left bank of Hrazdan River. The abandoned park near the Armenia Republican Medical Centre was renovated during summer 2012 and named after Buenos Aires which is twinned with Yerevan since 2000. With an area of around 4 hectares, the park was officially opened on 30 October 2012. The park has a half-circular central pool with fountains and an area of 3,000 m³ of water surface. The park is also provided with a small space for outdoor sporting events. The park is the regular training venue of the Street Workout Armenia.

Barekamutyun (Armenian: Բարեկամություն) is a Yerevan Metro station. It is one of the original metro stations in the city of Yerevan and was opened to the public on 7 March 1981.

Pyunik Training Centre is the training ground and academy base of the Armenian football club FC Pyunik. It was opened in 2004 on the grounds of the former Kilikia Football School in the Kentron District of the capital Yerevan.The centre is used for the training of youth and senior teams. It occupies an area of 48,000 m².

The A.I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory (Armenian: Ա.Ի. Ալիխանյանի անվան Ազգային Գիտական Լաբորատորիա) is a research institute located in Yerevan, Armenia. It was founded in 1943 as a branch of the Yerevan State University by brothers Abram Alikhanov and Artem Alikhanian. It was often referred to by the acronym YerPhI (Yerevan Physics Institute). In 2011 it was renamed to its current name A.I. Alikhanyan National Science Laboratory.

Dalma Garden Mall (Armenian: Դալմա Գարդեն Մոլ) is an Armenian enclosed shopping mall. It is located near the Tsitsernakaberd hill in the Armenian capital Yerevan. It was the first mall to open in Armenia.

Nor Arabkir (Armenian: Նոր Արաբկիր, also, Arabkir), is an upper middle class urban neighbourhood in Yerevan, the capital of Armenia. It is part of the Arabkir District of the city.
