Jorcks Passage

Skindergade 32/Fiolstræde 2 is a Neoclassical apartment building situated at the acute corner of Skindergade and Fiolstræde in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark, designed and constructed by master mason Thomas Blom in 1837–38as his last independent work. He went with a somewhat outdated Neoclassical style, undoubtedly to make the building blend in with Christian Frederik Hansen's Trøstens Boliger, Church of Our Lady and Metropolitan School on three adjacent sites. The building was listed in the Danish registry of protected buuildings and places in 1945. Notable former residents include the mathematician Christian Ramus, judge and later professor of law at the University of Copenhagen Tage Algreen-Ussing, lawyer Lars Christian Larsen, director of the Zealand Railway Company Viggo Rothe and bookseller and publisher G.E.C. Gad.

The Tutein House (Danish: Tuteins Gård) is a Neoclassical former bourgeois townhouse situated at the corner of Vimmelskaftet and Badstuestræde, on the pedestrianized shopping street Strøget, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was constructed by Johan Martin Quist for Friederich Tutein in 1800–01. The building was adaptedand extended in 1881 by Reinholdt W. Jorck for whom Horcks Passage on the other side of the street would later also be constructed. Café Bernina—Cpåenhagen's leading literary coffee house in the late 19th century—opened in the building in October 1881. Kjøbenhavns Telefon-Selskab's first central office was also based in the building from 1881 to 1895. The building is still owned by Jorcks Ejendomme, a property company established by Reinholdt W. Jorck's son Georg Jorck and now owned by two charitable foundations created by him. The tenants include the newspaper Kristeligt Dagblad.

Studenterhuset (English; The Students' House), situated at the corner of Købmagergade (No. 52) and Trinitatis Kirkeplads, next to the Round Tower, is a meetingplace for students in Copenhagen, Denmark. Students at the University of Copenhagen are born members of Studenterhuset but it is also possible for students at other institutions of higher education to acquire membership. The building was constructed in the 1730s but owes its current appearance to successive renovations in the 19th century. The building was for more than one hundred years owned by brewers whose brewery was based in the courtyard. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. A plaque commemorates that Studenterforeningen had its first home in rented premises in the building from November 1820 to 1824. Notable former residents include professor of medicine Christian Friis Rottbøll (1727-1797), naval officer Steen Andersen Bille, politician Christian Colbjørnsen, professor of philosophy Børge Riisbrigh (1731-1809) and naval officer Olfert Fischer.

A. C. Bang was a furrier situated on Strøget in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1816 and had status of Purveyor to the Court of Denmark from 1905. Its former building, located at the corner of Østergade (No. 27) and Bremerholm, is from 1932–34 and was designed by Bent Helweg-Møller.

Pan Club Copenhagen (often just referred to as Pan) was a gay club in central Copenhagen, Denmark which closed in 1994 after having been in operation on various locations in Copenhagen since 1970. However already in 1996 private owners opened a club at the former location with the same name and concept, successfully reviving the club until 2007. Pan was one of Europe's biggest gay clubs and the biggest in Copenhagen. It attracted a large number of people, particularly in the weekends with Saturday being the biggest night. While people of almost all age groups came to the club, it was most popular with younger gay men and lesbians. It also attracted a heterosexual crowd, and in periods it was one of the more fashionable places to go in Copenhagen with many celebrities visiting the club. The club was originally run and owned by "LBL" (now, LGBT Denmark), the Danish national organization for gays, lesbians and bisexuals. The place has since become a commercial venue and has changed owners several times. Most recently, it was taken over by three men, Munir, Rico and Sadi in 2005 until it closed in 2007. Located at Knabrostræde 3 in the city center, the club had four floors (although not all floors were open at all times) for a total of 2 dance floors and 6 bars. The ground floor featured the cloakroom. The first floor (also known as Pan One) played mostly dance music. The second floor (Pan Two) featured primarily new and old pop music. The third floor featured a karaoke bar and a view over the dance floor of Pan Two. There was also a mezzanine between the first and second floors, offering a view over Pan One along with a sitting area. In the summer, one could sit in the open-air yard outside the club. Britney Spears visited the club in 2004 the night before her concert in Copenhagen. During the last years of the club's operation, the fraction of heterosexuals attending the club steadily increased. This generated negative comments from members of the homosexual crowd who, while generally being welcome to heterosexuals, also wanted to keep the place a gay club. In Denmark it is illegal to restrict access to a club to people of a particular sexual orientation. In September 2006 the club announced a new system that would require guests to show a member card before being allowed to enter the club. The member card was to be ordered from the club website. Guests would be admitted if accompanied by a card holder and tourists would be allowed to enter without a card. The club owners cited a growing number of heterosexual people entering the club just to get a look at the homosexuals, as the motivation for this measure. The member card requirement was put into effect on April 1, 2007. However, a few days later the club announced that it was shutting down, citing a decreasing number of visitors as the reason. April 14, 2007 was the last night the club was open to the public. In the building that used to host PAN, a new nightclub, K3 opened in April 2007. It does not cater specifically to the homosexual community but describes itself as gay-friendly. In August 2008, it was reported that the K3 club would be hosting gay parties under the name "PAN retro", with the first party planned for December 28, 2008.

Kunstnerkollegiet (The Artist Dorm) is a hall of residence with 32 apartments for students at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and other universities in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1974 but its building, formerly known as Trøstens Bolig (The Dwelling of Consolation) and Soldins Stiftelse (Soldin's Foundation), traces its history back to the 1810s. It is a three-winged complex built in the Neoclassical style to design by Christian Frederik Hansen. The main entrance is located at Skindergade 34, but the three-winged complex is closed on the other side by a low wall with another gate at Dyrkøb 1 and one of the gables faces Fiolstræde.

Skindergade 36/Dyrkøb 3 is a Neoclassical building complex situated close to Gammeltorv in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It consists of a five-bays-wide, four-storey building in Skindergade and another five-bays-wide, four-storey building in Dyrkøb as well as a side wing which connects the two buildings along the west side of a central courtyard. The Dyrkøb building fronts the south side of the Church of Our Lady. N. J. Frænckels Stiftelse, a private senior citizens home administrated by the Hewish congregation, was located in the buuilding from 1899 until 1961. The building complex was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. Notable former residents include the painter Niels Simonsen, musician in the Royal Danish Orchestra H. S. Paulli (1810–1891) and theologian and translator Edvard Lembcke (1815–1897).

Skindergade is a street in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Running roughly parallel to Strøget, to which it is connected through Jorcks Passage, it extends for approximately 400 metres from Gammeltorv to Købmagergade.

Strøget (Danish pronunciation: [ˈstʁʌjˀð̩]) is a pedestrian, car free shopping area in Copenhagen, Denmark. This popular tourist attraction in the centre of town is one of the longest pedestrian shopping streets in Europe at 1.1 km. Located at the centre of the old city of Copenhagen, it has long been one of the most high-profile streets in the city. The pedestrianisation of Strøget in 1962 marked the beginning of a major change in the approach of Copenhagen to urban life; following the success of the initiative the city moved to place a much greater emphasis on pedestrian and bicycle access to the city at the expense of cars. This approach has in turn become internationally influential.

Klosterstræde 23 is a Neoclassical property in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building is located opposite Gråbrødrestræde, a short street linking Klosterstræde with Gråbrødretorv. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950.

Knabrostræde 3 is a Neoclassical property located off the major shopping street Strøget in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was like many of the buildings in the street constructed in the years after the Copenhagen Fire of 1795 but owes its current appearance to a comprehensive renovation in 1826 and an adaption of the facade in 1859. On its rear is a small, partly cobbled courtyard with a former warehouse (No. 3 A) and a rear wing (No. 3 B). No. 3 was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950. Chateau Motel, one of Copenhagen's largest dance and night clubs, has been based in the rear wing since 2017.

Klosterstræde 21 is a four-storey building in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It has since its completion in 1817 been home to a glazier's business. The current owner, H. P. Plsem & Søn, which has been based in the building since 1938, has replaced all the windows with antique stained glass windows. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950.
