Strøget

Klosterstræde 21 is a four-storey building in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. It has since its completion in 1817 been home to a glazier's business. The current owner, H. P. Plsem & Søn, which has been based in the building since 1938, has replaced all the windows with antique stained glass windows. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1950.

A. C. Bang was a furrier situated on Strøget in Copenhagen, Denmark. It was founded in 1816 and had status of Purveyor to the Court of Denmark from 1905. Its former building, located at the corner of Østergade (No. 27) and Bremerholm, is from 1932–34 and was designed by Bent Helweg-Møller.

The Tutein House (Danish: Tuteins Gård) is a Neoclassical former bourgeois townhouse situated at the corner of Vimmelskaftet and Badstuestræde, on the pedestrianized shopping street Strøget, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was constructed by Johan Martin Quist for Friederich Tutein in 1800–01. The building was adaptedand extended in 1881 by Reinholdt W. Jorck for whom Horcks Passage on the other side of the street would later also be constructed. Café Bernina—Cpåenhagen's leading literary coffee house in the late 19th century—opened in the building in October 1881. Kjøbenhavns Telefon-Selskab's first central office was also based in the building from 1881 to 1895. The building is still owned by Jorcks Ejendomme, a property company established by Reinholdt W. Jorck's son Georg Jorck and now owned by two charitable foundations created by him. The tenants include the newspaper Kristeligt Dagblad.

Studenterhuset (English; The Students' House), situated at the corner of Købmagergade (No. 52) and Trinitatis Kirkeplads, next to the Round Tower, is a meetingplace for students in Copenhagen, Denmark. Students at the University of Copenhagen are born members of Studenterhuset but it is also possible for students at other institutions of higher education to acquire membership. The building was constructed in the 1730s but owes its current appearance to successive renovations in the 19th century. The building was for more than one hundred years owned by brewers whose brewery was based in the courtyard. The building was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945. A plaque commemorates that Studenterforeningen had its first home in rented premises in the building from November 1820 to 1824. Notable former residents include professor of medicine Christian Friis Rottbøll (1727-1797), naval officer Steen Andersen Bille, politician Christian Colbjørnsen, professor of philosophy Børge Riisbrigh (1731-1809) and naval officer Olfert Fischer.

Skindergade 23 is a 19th-century property located on the southeast side of Skindergade, between Klosterstræde and Kejsergade, in the Old Town section of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was constructed in 1831–1832 but owes its current appearance to a renovation undertaken in 1857. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1961. Former residents include educator Jens Ernst Wegener, architect Michael Gottlieb Bindesbøll, artist and designer Thorvald Bindesbøll, composer Niels W. Gade and physician Andreas Brünniche.

Kringlegangen is a passageway linking the square Gråbrødretorv with the street Valkendorfsgade in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. A bakery was operated on the site from before 1787 until at least the 1910s. The present building complex (Gråbrødretorv 17/ Valkendorfsgade 32) was constructed in 1856-1857 for master joiner Carl Heinrich Winther. The passageway was not opened to the public until 1975. The name Kringlegangen was inspired by a gilded kringle above the entrance from Gråbrødretorv as well as to the twisting and turning course of the passageway. The entire building complex was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.

Klosterstræde 8 is an 18th-century, three-winged building situated in Klosterstræde, around the corner from the shopping street Strøget, in central Copenhagen, Denmark. Originally constructed with three storeys in 1732, with timber framing, as part of the rebuilding of the city following the Copenhagen Fire of 1728, half a century later it was heightened with one storey and partly reconstructed in brick. The front wing was listed on the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1974. The side wing and rear wing are not part of the heritage listing. The journalist, author and translator Loulou Lassen owned the property in the 1900s.

Badstuestræde 7 is a Neoclassical property situated off the shopping street Strøget in the Old Town of Copenhagen, Denmark. The building was like most of the other buildings in the street constructed in the years after the Copenhagen Fire of 1795. It was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1964.

Nybrogade 8 is an 18th-century building overlooking Slotsholmens Kanal and Slotsholmen in central Copenhagen, Denmark. The property comprises the three-storey, half-timbered building at Snaregade 5 on the other side of the block as well as the narrow cobbled courtyard that separates the two buildings. The property was listed in the Danish registry of protected buildings and places in 1945.
