Dankuni Junction is a railway junction on the Howrah–Bardhaman chord and is located in Hooghly district in the Indian state of West Bengal. The station is linked with both Howrah and Sealdah. Dankuni has grown into an important intercity railway station serving the Kolkata metropolitan region. It is a major intermediate stoppage for mail and express trains plying to and fro the southern states of India and the northeastern states of India.
