It was built about 1790, and was a two-story, five-bay, gable-roof, post-and-plank building with interior brick chimneys at each gable end. It has a center-passage plan with overall dimensions of 39 feet wide by 22 feet deep. A two-story, wood-frame kitchen wing was added in the mid-19th century. It is in the Federal style.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, and demolished before 2002.

Duncan Beard Site, also known as the Duncan Beard's House and Shop, is an archaeological site located near Odessa, New Castle County, Delaware. It was the site of the house and shop of a Delaware lock-maker of great distinction and silversmith. He lived and labored here for about 30 years until his death in 1797. He was a prominent member of Old Drawyers Presbyterian Church and made a contract with State of Delaware in 1776 for the manufacture of gun locks.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

It was built in 1847, and is a two-story, brick meeting house measuring 40 feet by 60 feet. It is surrounded by a cemetery. The congregation was organized in 1789. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.

It shares its building with Cantwell's Bridge Middle School.

Blackbird is an unincorporated community in New Castle County, Delaware, United States. Blackbird is located at the intersection of U.S. Route 13 and Blackbird Station Road, southeast of Townsend. The Blackbird State Forest is nearby.The community was originally a stagecoach stop along the King's Highway and was settled around a mill at the head of the Blackbird Creek. The name is believed to have originally been Blackbeard after the pirate Blackbeard, who, according to tradition, used the lower part of the Blackbird Creek as a harbor and stored booty along its banks.
