The Central Bank of Kosovo (Albanian: Banka Qendrore e Republikës së Kosovës, Serbian: Централна банка Републике Косова / Centralna banka Republike Kosova) is the central bank of Kosovo. It was founded in June 2008, the same year Kosovo declared its independence from Serbia, with the approval of Law No. 03/L-074 on the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo by the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo. Before being established as the Central Bank of Kosovo, it operated as the Central Banking Authority of Kosovo (Albanian: Autoriteti Qendror Bankar i Kosovës). The official currency in Kosovo is the Euro, which was unilaterally adopted by the United Nations administration for Kosovo in 2002; however, Kosovo is not a member of the Eurozone. The headquarters of the CBK are located in the capital of Kosovo, Pristina.

Palace of Youth and Sports (Albanian: Pallati i Rinisë dhe Sporteve; Serbian: Палата омладине и спорта, romanized: Palata omladine i sporta), formerly named Boro and Ramiz (Albanian: Boro-Ramiz; Serbian: Боро и Рамиз), is a multi-purpose hall located in Pristina, Kosovo. It includes two indoor arenas, the larger of which had a capacity of 8,000 spectators but is currently out of use, and the smaller in-use with a capacity of 2,800 spectators. It also includes a shopping mall, indoor parking, two convention halls and a library. The building in its entirety measures over 10,000 m2 (110,000 sq ft).

Prishtina Observatory (Albanian: Observatori i Prishtinës) is an observatory in Pristina, Kosovo, that forms part of the Palace of Youth and Sports building complex built in 1977 in dedication to discovery, scientific research and educational practice.

The Fadil Vokrri Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi Fadil Vokrri), previously known as Pristina City Stadium (Albanian: Stadiumi i qytetit të Prishtinës), is a multi-purpose stadium in Pristina, Kosovo, which is used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of FK Priština and the Serbia national football team. The stadium has a capacity of 13,980.

The Ministry of Economy (Albanian: Ministria e Ekonomisë) is a department of the government of Kosovo responsible for the economic policy of Kosovo. The ministry has its headquarters in Pristina, with Artane Rizvanolli as the incumbent economic minister in the second cabinet of Albin Kurti.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora (Albanian: Ministria e Punëve të Jashtme dhe Diasporës) is a department of the government of Kosovo responsible for the foreign policy of Kosovo. The ministry has its headquarters in Pristina, with Donika Gërvalla-Schwarz as the incumbent foreign minister in the second cabinet of Albin Kurti.

The Faculty of Arts of Pristina (Albanian: Fakulteti i Arteve në Prishtinë) is the faculty of arts of the University of Pristina, located in Pristina, Kosovo.

The Cathedral of Saint Mother Teresa (Albanian: Katedralja Shën Nënë Tereza) is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Pristina, Kosovo. In 2007, the Government of Kosovo approved plans for the building. The cathedral is dedicated to the Albanian-Indian Roman Catholic nun and missionary Saint Teresa of Calcutta.

Pristina or Prishtina (UK: PREE-shtin-ə, prish-TEE-nə, US: PRISHT-in-ə) is the capital and largest city of Kosovo. It is the administrative center of the eponymous municipality and district. In antiquity, the area of Pristina was part of the Dardanian Kingdom. The heritage of the classical era is represented by the settlement of Ulpiana. After the Roman Empire was divided into a western and an eastern half, the area remained within the Byzantine Empire between the 5th and 9th centuries. In the middle of the 9th century, it was ceded to the First Bulgarian Empire, before falling again under Byzantine occupation in the early 11th century and then in the late 11th century to the Second Bulgarian Empire. The growing Kingdom of Serbia annexed the area in the 13th century and it remained under the Serbian Empire in the 14th century up to the start of the Ottoman era (1389–1455). The next centuries would be characterized by Ottoman rule. During this period, Pristina developed from a village to a major urban center of the region. Following the end of the First Balkan War in 1914, it became a part of the newly formed Kingdom of Serbia. In 1948, it was chosen as the capital of the province SAP Kosovo under the statehood of Yugoslavia. Furthermore, Pristina would continue to serve as the capital of Kosovo after its 2008 independence from Serbia. Pristina seems to have been a small village before the late 15th century. It is first recorded in 1342 as a village during the reign of Stefan Dušan, and about a century later in 1455 at the beginning of the Ottoman era it had a small population of 300 households. In the following century, Pristina became an important mining and trading center due to its strategic position near the rich mining town of Novo Brdo. The city was known for its trade fairs and items, such as goatskin and goat hair as well as gunpowder. Pristina is the capital and the economic, financial, political and trade center of Kosovo, due to its location in the center of the country. It is the seat of power of the Government of Kosovo, the residences for work of the President and Prime Minister of Kosovo, and the Parliament of Kosovo. Pristina is also the most important transportation junction of Kosovo for air, rail, and roads. Pristina International Airport is the largest airport of the country and among the largest in the region. A range of expressways and motorways, such as the R 6 and R 7, radiate out the city and connect it to Albania and North Macedonia. Pristina will host the 2030 Mediterranean Games.

The Republic of Kosova (Albanian: Republika e Kosovës), also known as the First Republic of Kosovo (Albanian: Republika e Parë e Kosovës), was a self-declared proto-state in Southeast Europe established in 1991. During its peak, it tried to establish its own parallel political institutions in opposition to the institutions of the Autonomous Province of Kosovo and Metohija held by Yugoslavia's Republic of Serbia.

The National Library of Kosovo (Albanian: Biblioteka Kombëtare e Kosovës; Serbian: Народна библиотека Косова, romanized: Narodna biblioteka Kosova) is the highest library institution in Kosovo established by the Assembly and is located in Pristina. The mission of the library is to collect, preserve, promote and make accessible the documentary and intellectual heritage of Kosovo. It holds exhibitions and holds an archive of national newspapers. The library also provides a number of other services. It is known for its unique history, and the style of the building designed by the Croatian architect Andrija Mutnjaković, followed by controversies about the outside appearance of it.

The Cathedral church of Christ the Saviour (Serbian: Саборни храм Христа Спаса у Приштини/Saborni hram Hrista Spasa u Prištini; Albanian: Katedralja e Krishtit shpëtimtar) in Pristina, Kosovo, is an unfinished Serbian Orthodox Christian church whose construction began in 1992. Due to have been completed in 1999, its construction, on the campus of the pre-war University of Pristina, was interrupted by the Kosovo War.
