It was built about 1855, and is a three-story, brick residence with a mansard roof in the Second Empire style. The main section measures 65 feet by 40 feet. Two additions were built sometime after 1932. It features a two-story porch with decorative woodwork.The home was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Lebanon was founded by George Steitz in 1740 and was originally named Steitztown.Lebanon is located 61 miles (98 km) southwest of Allentown, 26 miles (42 km) east of Harrisburg, and 88 miles (142 km) northwest of Philadelphia.

St. Luke's Episcopal Church is a historic Episcopal church located at 6th and Chestnut Streets in Lebanon, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania.The cornerstone of the church was laid on St. Luke's Day, October 18, 1879 by Bishop Howe. The church was built in 1880. It was designed by New York architect Henry Martyn Congdon (1834–1922) in the Ruskinian gothic style. It was paid for by iron baron Robert Habersham Coleman and dedicated in memory of J. Lillie Coleman (née Clark), his recently deceased wife.The building is in the form of a Latin Cross and constructed of native bluestone and sandstone. It measures 116 feet (35 m) long and 75 feet (23 m) wide, and features a square, 85-foot (26 m) tower with an octagonal turret. The roof is covered in rows of blue and red slate.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1974.The church was originally incorporated as "Christ Church, of Lebanon, Pa." in 1859, and admitted that year to the Convention of the Diocese of Pennsylvania. The name of the church was changed in 1865 to the current name, "St. Luke's".

Lebanon Senior High School (LHS) houses grades nine through twelve for the Lebanon School District, and is located in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The current building, which also serves as district headquarters, opened to students for the 1969–70 school year. The school, with a unique architecture featuring three circular buildings, underwent extensive renovations completed in early 2013. The school's mascot is the cedar tree. In 2013, the cedar tree mascot, Rooty, was featured in a mini-series on HULU entitled Behind the Mask.

Founded in 1907 to provide services for the High Holidays, it was then, and remains today, the only synagogue in the Lebanon area.The congregation's current building, designed by Percival Goodman to mirror the barns of the surrounding Pennsylvania Dutch community, was dedicated in 1953.Rabbi Samuel W. Yolen, a graduate of The Academy of Jewish Religion in New York, is the current spiritual leader.
