Historic Rock Ford

The Park Site, designated 36LA96, is a historic archaeological site located in West Lampeter Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, just south of the city of Lancaster. The site was excavated and assessed in 1979. The site features a Susquehannock burial site dated to the early 18th century and European-made artifacts.In 1985, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as "Park Site 36La96". A plaque is posted on the site, and several artifacts are displayed at the park's Environmental Center.

The Kurtz's Mill Covered Bridge is a covered bridge that spans Mill Creek in the Lancaster County Park in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, United States. The bridge is also known as the County Park Covered Bridge, Baer's Mill Covered Bridge, Isaac Baer's Mill Bridge, Keystone Mill Covered Bridge, Binder Tongue Carrier Covered Bridge, and Mill 2A Covered Bridge. The bridge is accessible to road traffic from within the park. The bridge has a single span, wooden, double burr arch trusses design with the addition of steel hanger rods. The deck is made from oak planks. It is painted red, the traditional color of Lancaster County covered bridges, on both the inside and outside. Both approaches to the bridge are painted in red with white trim. The bridge's WGCB Number is 38-36-03. Unlike most historic covered bridges in the county, it is not listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is located at 40°0′48.6″N 76°16′59.9″W (40.0151, -76.2822).

Woodward Hill Cemetery is a 32-acre historic rural or garden cemetery in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The cemetery's creation was initiated by the Trinity Lutheran Church of Lancaster in October 1849. Land was subsequently purchased by the church, a board of trustees was elected on November 4, 1850, and the burial ground was incorporated by an act of the Pennsylvania State Senate in 1851. It then officially became a non-denominational cemetery on February 2, 1852 when the property was transferred from the church to a group of stockholders.Best known for being the burial place of James Buchanan, the 15th President of the United States, Woodward Hill Cemetery was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2005.

It was named for Thaddeus Stevens, a nineteenth-century statesman. The college was founded in 1905 and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.

Totten House is a historic home and national historic district located at Lancaster Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The district encompasses two contributing buildings and two contributing structures. It was built between 1913 and 1916 as a private residence, and has 2+1⁄2 stories, stuccoed dwelling in the Spanish Revival style. It is now run as a bed and breakfast, known as the King's Cottage.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1989.

The Lancaster County Prison is a county prison located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is located on East King Street in Lancaster City. The prison was originally built in 1851 and renovated in 1972. The present medieval-style building replaced the earlier prisons in 1851, with Fulton Hall, of the Fulton Opera House being built on the site of the earlier prison. The prison is still in active use. With over 5,000 admissions each year (and a similar number of discharges), Lancaster County Prison currently has beds for over 950 inmates, but has the capacity to accommodate more if needed.The majority of those currently detained are imprisoned pending trial, the remaining 40% having already been sentenced. Prior to 2013, sentenced inmates were charged $10 per day for their incarceration, under the Lancaster County Prison "prisoner cost recovery program", in operation since 1995. Since that time there has been a flat fee of thirty dollars collected at intake or billed to the inmate if they haven't any cash on hand.It was used for public hangings until 1912.
