Gaoqiao (Chinese: 高桥; pinyin: Gāoqiáo) is a town in Pudong New Area in Shanghai, China. Gaoqiao Old Town dates back to the Southern Song Dynasty. Gaoqiao New Town, also known as Holland Village or Holland Town, is a new town with a Dutch architectural theme. Gaoqiao is located at the northern end of Pudong, on the east bank of the Huangpu River and next to Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone. It has an area of 39 square kilometres, and had a registered population of 84,900 in 2008. The town is served by Shanghai Metro Line 6.Gaoqiao New Town arose from the One City, Nine Towns policy, which was initiated in 2001. Each of the suburban districts of Shanghai was assigned a new town, each with its own theme. Pudong's new town was assigned to Gaoqiao, with a Dutch theme. Other Western themes used to date are Scandinavian, Italian, Spanish, Canadian, English and German. Dutch architectural firms Kuiper Compagnons and Atelier Dutch jointly produced the design for the town's initial development, covering an area of 1 square kilometre; Chinese designers were brought in subsequently. There are versions of Dutch buildings such as the Netherlands Maritime Museum, the Bijenkorf department store in Amsterdam, and the Hofwijck mansion in Voorburg. One section of the town was inspired by the Kattenbroek quarter of Amersfoort. The town also has a windmill, and is a popular location for wedding photography. As of July 2010, the town was still only partially built.Binjiang Forest Park is located at the northern tip of Gaoqiao, close to Sancha Port. Phase 1 of the park, with 1.2 square kilometres of the planned total of 3 square kilometres, was opened in 2007.

Gangcheng Road (Chinese: 港城路; pinyin: Gǎngchéng Lù) is a Shanghai Metro interchange station in Pudong, Shanghai, located at the intersection of Gangcheng Road and North Zhangyang Road. It is served by Lines 6 and 10. On Line 6, it is the northern terminus of the line. On Line 10, it is located between Jilong Road and Gaoqiao stations. It began operations on 29 December 2007, with the opening of Line 6. It became an interchange station with the opening of the second phase of Line 10. The extension was expected to open in 2018, however, due to construction delays, it finally opened on 26 December 2020.The station is located near the Waigaoqiao section of the Shanghai Free-Trade Zone (formerly the Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone). However, the adjacent station to the east on Line 10, Jilong Road station, is located within the zone.

North Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone (simplified Chinese: 外高桥保税区北; traditional Chinese: 外高橋保稅區北; pinyin: Wàigāoqiáo Bǎoshuìqū Běi) is a station on Line 6 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 29, 2007. The station is located along North Yanggao Road within the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Pudong.

Located east of the intersection of North Pudong Road and Gangcheng Road, it was scheduled to open with the rest of the northern extension of Line 10 in 2018, however, due to construction delays, the station opened on 26 December 2020. It is an elevated station with two side platforms.

Shanghai Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone (Chinese: 上海外高桥保税区), was the first Free Trade Zone to be established in China. It is situated in the North East of Pudong District, near the end of Metro Line 6. It was incorporated as part of the newly developed China (Shanghai) Pilot Free-Trade Zone on September 29, 2013.

West Gaoqiao (Chinese: 高桥西; pinyin: Gāoqiáo Xī) is a Shanghai Metro station located on Line 10 within Pudong, Shanghai. Located near the intersection of Zhonggao Highway and Gangcheng Road, it was expected to open with the rest of the northern extension of Line 10 in 2018, however, due to construction delays, the station opened on 26 December 2020. It is an elevated station with side platforms.

Shanghai Free-Trade Zone (Shanghai FTZ or SFTZ), officially China (Shanghai) Pilot Free-Trade Zone, is a free-trade zone in Shanghai, China. On 22 August 2013, the State Council approved the establishment of the zone. Officially launched on 29 September 2013 with the backing of Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, it is the first free-trade zone in mainland China and covers an area of 240.2 square kilometres (92.7 sq mi). Shanghai FTZ integrates four existing bonded zones in the district of Pudong—Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Waigaoqiao Free Trade Logistics Park, Yangshan Free Trade Port Area and Pudong Airport Comprehensive Free Trade Zone. Since 21 April 2015, the zone's areas have been expanded to include Lujiazui Financial and Trade Zone, Shanghai Jinqiao Economic and Technological Development Zone (formerly Jinqiao Export Processing Zone) and Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park. On 6 August 2019, Shanghai FTZ's areas were expanded again to include Nanhui New City (Lingang New City), Lingang Equipment Industry Area, Xiao Yangshan island (Yangshan Port) and the south side of Pudong Airport.

South Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone (simplified Chinese: 外高桥保税区南; traditional Chinese: 外高橋保稅區南; pinyin: Wàigāoqiáo Bǎoshuìqū Nán) is a station on Line 6 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 29, 2007. The station is located within the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone, Pudong.

Harrow International School Shanghai (Chinese: 上海哈罗国际学校) is a private secondary school in Pudong, Shanghai. It opened in August 2016.

Zhouhai Road (Chinese: 洲海路; pinyin: Zhōuhǎi Lù) is a station on Line 6 of the Shanghai Metro. It began operation on December 29, 2007. It is located in Shanghai's Pudong New Area.

Located at the intersection of Shuangjiang Road and Gangcheng Road, it was expected to open with the rest of the northern extension of Line 10 in 2018, however, due to construction delays, it opened on 26 December 2020.

Gongqing Forest Park (Chinese: 上海共青森林公园; pinyin: Shànghǎi Gòngqīng Sēnlín Gōngyuán) is the second-largest park in the city of Shanghai. It is located in the Yangpu District in the north section of the city. To reach the park you can take line 8 on the metro to Shiguang Road. From the metro station the park is a less than 1 km; walk or take a very short taxi ride to it. Being further out the park is somewhat less crowded than Century Park, the largest park of the city.The northern part is the larger one and features most of the amusements and activities of the park i.e., rock climbing, horse riding, kart racing, toboggan ride and roller coasters etc. The southern part is home to mini lakes and ponds. There is also an indoor exhibition of various plants and a Hongsen Forest Park Hotel. One can take Metro Line 8 to Shiguang Road and after that walk approximately 1km to the park.
