Plaza Brasil (Brasil Square) is located in Barrio Brasil, a neighborhood of Santiago, Chile known for its strong artistic and cultural scene. Access to the square is via the Cumming station of the Santiago Metro.

Cumming is an underground metro station on the Line 5 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. It is located underneath Catedral street in the commune of Santiago, between metro stations Quinta Normal and Santa Ana. The station opened on March 31, 2004, along with Quinta Normal station. A ghost station, Libertad, lies between Quinta Normal and Cumming station. The station is located in the heart of Barrio Brasil, a lively neighborhood known for its cultural scene, near the Brasil campus of the Academy of Christian Humanism University, the Alberto Hurtado University and the Alonso de Ercilla Institute. At the entrance to the station lies the Iglesia de los Capuchinos, a church built in the Neoclassic Greco-Roman style.The station has disability access. Shotcrete was used for primary and secondary lining of the tunnels. The walls on the platform level and the mezzanine level ceiling feature perforated aluminum panels. A glazed street-level pavilion, which features shade devices, provides access to the station.

Colegio Alonso de Ercilla (English: Alonso de Ercilla School) is a Chilean high school located in Rancagua, Cachapoal Province, Chile.

The Basílica del Salvador is a basilica located at the corner of Huérfanos Street and Almirante Barroso Street in the Barrio Brasil of Santiago de Chile. The basilica was designed by the German architect Teodoro Burchard in the Neo Gothic style. It was renovated by Josué Smith Solar in 1932. Two earthquakes, one in 1985 and the other in 2010, badly damaged the basilica.

Barrio Concha y Toro is a barrio located in Santiago, Chile. The neighborhood has a medieval-like street plan, whose design was influenced by the ideas of Camillo Sitte. The houses are built on the former site of the Díaz Gana Palace's park, which was divided into lots in 1915. The district's boundaries are defined by Brasil Avenue, Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins, Cumming Avenue, Romero Street, Maturana Street and Erasmo Escala Street.

The Bolivarian University of Chile (Spanish: Universidad Bolivariana de Chile) is a Chilean university established in 1987. It has around 7000 students. The university obtained functional autonomy in 2002. Before this date, graduates had to submit to an examination by the Chilean Board of Education in order to have their degree validated. Currently, all degrees granted from the university are fully recognized by the Chilean government without additional requirements. Individual majors are accredited, and the institution is in the process of seeking a wider institutional accreditation.

Alberto Hurtado University (Spanish: Universidad Alberto Hurtado – UAH) is a Jesuit university located in Santiago. Established in 1997, the university was created from the merger of three separate institutes: Instituto Latinoamericano de Doctrina y Estudios Sociales (ILADES), the Centro de Investigación, Desarrollo de la Educación (CIDE), and the Fundación Educacional Roberto Bellarmino. The university is named after a famous Chilean Jesuit Saint, Father Alberto Hurtado. UAH is a member of the AUSJAL and of FLACSI.

República is an underground metro station on the Line 1 of the Santiago Metro, in Santiago, Chile. This station is named for República Avenue. The station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda.Like most underground Line 1 stations, it has two levels below street level: the central mezzanine and the platform level. There are three entrances from street level. The only exit on the north side of Alameda Avenue leads to the Barrio Concha y Toro. The portions of the walls along the platforms that are under the station name signs are painted yellow, which originally featured small square mosaic tiles. The station's artwork, installed in December 2000, is entitled La República de los Niños (The Republic Of The Children) and consists of paintings on ceramic tiles, which were created by children with the support of Chilean artists.

Santa Ana is a transfer station between Line 2 and Line 5 of the Santiago Metro. It was initially a single-line station on Line 2, opened on 25 July 1986 as part of the extension of the line from Los Héroes to Puente Cal y Canto. Subsequently in 1998, the station began to be adapted to become a transfer station, as a part of the extension of Line 5 from Baquedano metro station to Santa Ana station, in which the New Austrian Tunnelling method was used. The Line 5 station was opened on 3 March 2000. The line was extended to Quinta Normal on 31 March 2004.The older portion of the station occupies part of the central reservation of the Autopista Central, which is sunken. Two street-level mezzanines at the northern and southern extremes of the station are connected with bridges traversing the highway. The station receives its name from the nearby Santa Ana Church.

Los Héroes is a rapid transit station of the Santiago Metro system, being an interchange point in between lines 1 and Santiago Metro Line 2. It located at the intersection of Avenida Libertador General Bernardo O'Higgins and the Norte-Sur branch of the Autopista Central, which is considered the kilometre zero of Chile. The Line 1 station was opened on 15 September 1975 as part of the inaugural section of the line between San Pablo and La Moneda. The Line 2 station was opened on 31 March 1978 as the northern terminus of the inaugural section of this line, to Franklin. On 15 September 1987 the line was extended to Puente Cal y Canto.It is unusual in its design that it is located underneath the Libertador Bernardo O'Higgins Avenue, but simultaneously in the median of the Ruta 5, which is the Chilean section of the Pan American Highway.

The Palacio Pereira is a historic neoclassical mansion located at the corner of San Martín and Huérfanos streets, in downtown Santiago, Chile. Built in the second half of the 19th century, it was declared a Historic Monument in 1981, but its deterioration was not stopped and remained abandoned for several decades. In 2011, under the first presidency of Sebastián Piñera, the government bought the building to convert it into the headquarters for the Dirección de Bibliotecas, Archivos y Museos (DIBAM) and the Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales (CMN). The following year was made a call for an open architectural competition for a preliminary restoration project and the design of an annex building. The winning project, proposed by the firm led by Cecilia Puga, was announced in December 2012, during the XVII Biennale of Architecture. In 2014 the architectural design by Puga, Alberto Moletto and Paula Velasco was completed. The planned date of completion of the project is December 2019.The palace, along with the Former National Congress Building, will be occupied by members of the Convención Constitucional, the group in charge of Chile's constitutional redrafting after the national plebiscite regarding this issue held in October 2020.
