Brindletown (also known as Brindle Town) is an unincorporated community located within Plumsted Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Brindletown was once a village home to a hotel, a mill, and large estates overlooking Brindle Lake. Brindletown was purchased by the federal government to expand Camp Dix in the 1920s (later known as Fort Dix). The site of the original Brindletown is within a weapons training site though the site of the current Brindletown is accessible to the public. The current settlement is centered about the intersection of Long Swamp Road and Carter Lane to the north of the original site. Houses line Long Swamp Road and other surrounding roads in the area while some farms are found to the north of Long Swamp Road. The portion of the community within the confines of Fort Dix is mostly forest.

New Egypt is an unincorporated community and census-designated place (CDP) located within Plumsted Township, in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2010 United States Census, the CDP's population was 2,512. The community is located at the trijunction of Burlington County, Monmouth County and Ocean counties.

Plumsted Township is a township in Ocean County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. As of the 2020 United States census, the township's population was 8,072, a decrease of 349 (−4.1%) from the 2010 census count of 8,421, which in turn reflected an increase of 1,146 (+15.8%) from the 7,275 counted in the 2000 census. The 2010 population was the highest recorded in any decennial census. Plumsted Township was incorporated as a township by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 11, 1845, from portions of Jackson Township, while the area was still part of Monmouth County. Plumsted Township became part of the newly created Ocean County on February 15, 1850. The township was named for Clement Plumstead, an English Quaker who bought a large parcel of land, but never set foot in the area.At one time, Plumsted included five separate Superfund sites, four of which have been removed from the National Priorities List, the most of any municipality in New Jersey.

As of the 2021–22 school year, the school had an enrollment of 322 students and 32.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 9.9:1. There were 35 students (10.9% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 12 (3.7% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

New Egypt Speedway is a 7/16 mile clay race track in New Egypt, New Jersey. The track hosted the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on a quarter mile asphalt track in the 1980s.

Hornerstown is an unincorporated community located within Upper Freehold Township in Monmouth County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. Hornerstown is located near Cream Ridge and uses the 08514 ZIP code. Centered about the intersection of Hornerstown-Arneystown Road and Main Street (both separate branches of Monmouth County Route 27), the area is mostly made up of houses with horse farms west of the community. Small businesses line nearby highways CR 537 and CR 539. The town formerly had a stop on the Pemberton and Hightstown Railroad. The former railroad right-of-way has been developed into the Union Transportation Trail.

Fort Dix, the common name for the Army Support Activity (ASA) located at Joint Base McGuire–Dix–Lakehurst, is a United States Army post. It is located 16.1 miles (25.9 km) south-southeast of Trenton, New Jersey. Fort Dix is under the jurisdiction of the Air Force Air Mobility Command. As of the 2020 U.S. census, Fort Dix census-designated place (CDP) had a total population of 7,716, of which 5,951 were in New Hanover Township, 1,765 were in Pemberton Township, and none were in Springfield Township (though portions of the CDP are included there).Established in 1917, Fort Dix was in 2009 combined with adjoining U.S. Air Force and Navy facilities to become Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in 2009. However, it remains commonly known as "Fort Dix", "ASA Dix", or "Dix". During 2015 to 2016, Colonel Shelley Balderson was commander, making her the first female commander of Fort Dix in the base's century-long history.
