Gwangju–Daegu Expressway

Gwangju (Korean: [kwaŋ.dʑu] ) is South Korea's sixth-largest metropolis. It is a designated metropolitan city under the direct control of the central government's Home Minister. The city was also the capital of South Jeolla Province until the provincial office moved to the southern village of Namak in Muan County in 2005 because Gwangju was promoted to a metropolitan city and was independent of South Jeolla province. Its name is composed of the words Gwang (Korean: 광; Hanja: 光) meaning "light" and Ju (주; 州) meaning "province". Gwangju was historically recorded as Muju (무주; 武州), in which "Silla merged all of the land to establish the provinces of Gwangju, Ungju, Jeonju, Muju and various counties, plus the southern boundary of Goguryeo and the ancient territories of Silla" in the Samguk Sagi. In the heart of the agricultural Jeolla region, the city is also famous for its rich and diverse cuisine.

Gwangju Mudeung Stadium is a sports complex in Gwangju, South Korea. Main stadium is currently used mostly for football matches and has a capacity of 30,000 people and was opened in 1966. During the 1988 Summer Olympics, it hosted some football matches. This complex has Gwangju Mudeung Baseball Stadium and gymnasium.

Kim Daejung Convention Center station (Korean: 김대중컨벤션센터역; Hanja: 金大中컨벤션센터驛) is a station of Gwangju Metro Line 1 in Mareuk-dong, Seo-gu District, Gwangju, South Korea. The Gwangju Metropolitan Rapid Transit Corporation is near the station. The station name comes from Kim Daejung Convention Center, which is nearby the station. It is a management station that manages from this station to Pyeongdong station. It is connected to the Airport station through the Hakja Tunnel.

Gwangju Health University (GHU) is a private bachelor's degree-granting community college located in Gwangju Metropolitan City, South Korea. Established in 1972, GHU, has received national accreditation by the Ministry of Education as a World Class College in 2013, rated "Level A" for Structure Reformation Evaluation in 2016, and rated "Level S" for Specialized Education since 2015. There are over 4,000 students attending one of fourteen academic programs on campus. The academic programs at GHU focus on humanities and social sciences and the natural sciences. Various 2-year associate degree programs, 3-year associate degree programs, 4-year bachelor's degree program, and intensive study programs for a bachelor's degree (전공심화과정) are offered at GHU.

The Gwangju World Cup Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in the South Korean city of Gwangju. It is managed by the Sports Support Division of the Culture & Sports Policy Office of the Gwangju Metropolitan city. Initially the stadium was named Gwangju World Cup Stadium to host some matches of the 2002 FIFA World Cup. To honour the former South Korean national team coach Guus Hiddink, who helped the team advance to the semi-finals, for the first time in its history, by defeating Spain in this stadium, they have also named it the Guus Hiddink Stadium.It is the home stadium of Gwangju FC of the Korea Professional Football League (K League) and has a capacity of 40,245. It was also the venue for the 3rd Asia Song Festival, organised by Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange, in 2006.It was also the main venue for 2015 Summer Universiade.

Seogwangju Station is a railway station on the Gyeongjeon Line in South Korea.

The Gwangju Football Stadium is a football-specific stadium in Gwangju, South Korea. It is the home ground of Gwangju FC. The stadium holds 10,007 spectators.
