Capt. Jacob Shoemaker House is a historic home located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1810, and is a 1+1⁄2-story, fieldstone dwelling over a banked stone basement. It has a gable roof with two dormers. The rear of the building has a two-story porch. It was the home of the locally prominent Shoemaker family. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

Mont Lawn Camp is a 200-acre summer camp located in the Pocono Mountains in Bushkill, Pennsylvania. Every summer it serves as a sleep-away camp for hundreds of children from underserved neighborhoods in the New York metro area and Philadelphia. Mont Lawn Camp is owned and operated by The Bowery Mission and is accredited by the American Camping Association and the ECFA. In the offseason the camp is used as a retreat center for church and corporate groups.

Bushkill Falls is a series of eight privately owned waterfalls, the tallest of which cascades over 100 feet (30 m), located in Lehman Township, Pennsylvania in the Pocono Mountains. Water of the Little Bush Kill and Pond Run Creek descends the mountain, toward the Delaware River, forming Bushkill Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, Bridesmaid Falls, Laurel Glen Falls, Pennell Falls, and three additional, unnamed falls. Bushkill Falls is a popular spot for hiking and birdwatching. The area features a variety of trails and bridges that vary in length and difficulty.

Fort Hyndshaw (sometimes referred to in contemporary records as Hyndshaw's Fort, or the Fort at Hyndshaw's) was a fort in Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, built in 1756. It was the northernmost of a line of Pennsylvania defenses erected during the French and Indian War.: 300  The fort was abandoned by its militia garrison in July 1757, but was still used by local settlers as a refuge from Native American attacks, until June 1758 when it was captured by Native American warriors and its inhabitants were taken prisoner.: 270

It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Cold Spring Farm Springhouse is a historic springhouse located in Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. It was built in the late-19th century and is a one-story, rectangular fieldstone building. It measures approximately 12 by 24 feet (3.7 by 7.3 m). It has a wood shingle roof and small cupola. Also on the property is a concrete dam, built about 1909. It represents a typical springhouse of the Delaware River Valley. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

John Turn Farm is a historic farm complex located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area at Middle Smithfield Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, USA. The complex includes the lime kiln, smoke house and weave house. The property also includes the site of the demolished main farmhouse, a smaller house, a barn and garage. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.

The Thunder Swamp Trail is a 31.7-mile (51.0 km) hiking trail system in Delaware State Forest in the Pocono Mountains region of northeastern Pennsylvania. The 18.3 mile main loop includes a junction with the one-way northeast spur that leads to Stillwater Natural Area; the spur adds 13.4 miles if hiked in both directions.
