Sulphur Springs, also known as White Sulphur Springs, is a census-designated place (CDP) in Spring Township, Jefferson County, Arkansas, United States. Per the 2020 census, the population was 1,032.

The Walter B. Sorrells Cottage is a historic administrative (and formerly residential) building on the campus of the Southeastern Arkansas Community Correction Center in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It is a two-story frame building, finished in brick on the first floor and stucco and half-timbering on the second, with Craftsman-style eaves adorned with exposed rafter ends and brackets. Built in 1920 to a design by Pine Bluff architect Mitchell Seligman, it was the first permanent structure of what was then known as the Boys Industrial School, a state facility for troubled youth.The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Watson Chapel Academy, better known as Chapel Academy (CA) was a private school in the Watson Chapel neighborhood of Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It was founded in 1971 as a segregation academy, which provided a means for white parents to keep their children from attending integrated public schools.

Arkansas Correctional School District, also known as the Arkansas Correctional School (ACS), and previously the Arkansas Department of Correction School District (ADCSD), is the education system that serves the Arkansas Department of Corrections (ADC) prisons and the Arkansas Department of Community Corrections (DCC) facilities. The district opened in 1973 when Act 279 was passed by the Arkansas General Assembly. The agency has its headquarters within the Pine Bluff Complex in Pine Bluff.Since the beginning of the 1997–98 school year, ADC inmates without a high school diploma who have not passed their GED high-school equivalency exam have been required to take ACS classes.

Watson Chapel High School is a comprehensive public high school in the Watson Chapel School District in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, that serves grades 10 through 12. It is one of three public high schools in Pine Bluff and the only high school managed by the Watson Chapel School District. It serves as the main feeder school for Watson Chapel Junior High School. It serves portions of Pine Bluff and Sulphur Springs.

Barbara A. Ester Unit is a correctional facility of the Arkansas Department of Correction (ADC), located in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It is scheduled to have a capacity of 580 prisoners, and it is the first prison in the ADC dedicated to the re-entry of prisoners into society. In addition to prisoners who are to be released within six months, it also houses prisoners who were incarcerated due to disobeying the rules of their parole. The prison's namesake is Barbara Ester, a prison guard holding the rank corporal at the East Arkansas Unit. She died on January 20, 2012, at the hands of a prisoner.

Headquartered in Pine Bluff, Watson Chapel School District employs over 300 faculty and staff to provide educational programs for students ranging from kindergarten through twelfth grade and enrolls more than 2,200 students.In 1971 the district covered 125 square miles (320 km2) of land.All schools in the district are accredited by AdvancED (formerly the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools).

Watson Chapel is a neighborhood in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. It is located at the fork of U.S. Route 79 (Camden Road) and Highway 54 (Sulphur Springs Road), directly southwest of downtown Pine Bluff.

The Randall L. Williams Correctional Facility is a prison of the Arkansas Department of Correction (ADC) located in the "Pine Bluff Complex" in Pine Bluff, Arkansas. The 576-bed facility sits on a 10-acre (4.0 ha) plot of land.The facility previously served as the Jefferson County Jail. Around 2008 the county opened the new W. C. "Dub" Brassel Adult Detention Facility and vacated the previous county jail. ADC purchased the former jail in 2008 and renamed it the Williams Correctional Facility in April of that year, after Randall L. Williams, a former state representative for Drew County and thereafter from 1970 to 1993 a Jefferson County circuit judge.Williams was the chairperson of the board of ADC from 1993 to 2000. ADC uses the facility as additional intake space, and after ADC acquired the facility, it moved the special management barracks, a unit for prisoners with counseling and mental health requirements, to Williams from the Cummins Unit.

Coleman High School was a public secondary school in Pine Bluff, Arkansas established in 1915. It served as a high school for black students until the public schools were integrated in 1971. It was a part of the Watson Chapel School District.

KCLA (1400 AM) was an American radio station licensed to serve the community of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, United States. The station was most recently owned by Community Broadcast Group Inc., and the broadcast license held by M.R.S. Ventures, Inc. When it went off the air permanently in early 2007, KCLA broadcast programming from Fox Sports, Westwood One, Hog Sports Talk, and ESPN Radio in a sports radio format branded as "The Fan, SportsRadio 1400".

Dollarway High School is a comprehensive public high school in northwest Pine Bluff, Arkansas that serves grades 9 through 12. It is one of three public high schools in Pine Bluff and is a part of the Pine Bluff School District effective July 1, 2021. Prior to that point it was the only high school managed by the Dollarway School District. Within the state, the school is often referred to as Pine Bluff Dollarway. It will close as of fall 2023.
