Glen Hope Covered Bridge

Rock United Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church located at Elkton, Cecil County, Maryland. It is a rectangular building of uncoursed rubble stone construction, three bays wide by three deep, with a steeply pitched slate-clad gable roof. It was originally constructed in 1761, and remodeled to its current Victorian Gothic influenced appearance in 1872 and 1900. Also on the property is a 1+1⁄2-story, stone Session House originally constructed in 1762 and a modern white stucco Church House constructed in 1953. The church is significant due to its association with the early Scotch-Irish immigrants to Maryland.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The former village of Blue Ball is no more, but Blue Ball Road retains the name.The settlement is located 7 mi (11 km) east of Rising Sun along Maryland Route 273.

Fair Hill Training Center is a racehorse training center based in Fair Hill, Maryland. It was owned by William du Pont, Jr. of the well-known Du Pont family, who bought the land in 1926. Dupont invested a substantial amount of money to make the property a leading breeding and training farm for his Thoroughbred racehorses. The State of Maryland purchased Fair Hill in 1974, converting the then 5,700-acre (23 km2) property into an equine training complex and a natural resource center. There are 17 privately owned barns, with more than 450 stalls. Each barn has its own set of turn out paddocks and porta pens. Barns here at Fair Hill were individually named after some of the du Pont thoroughbred champions such as Parlo, Chevation and Fairy Chant. There are two race tracks: a mile dirt track and a 7/8-mile track with an artificial surface (Tapeta). The campus also includes 3,000 acres (12 km²) of grasslands and woods which can be used by trainers who wish to take their horses out on trails.

It is home to the Fair Hill Natural Resources Management Area, a 5,613 acre protected area formerly part of the land holdings of William duPont, Jr.The community is also supported by a horse-racing track. Venue renovations began in 2018, which were assisted by the Maryland Stadium Authority and have since been completed. Fair Hill is also home to the Cecil County Fair.
