The Mill at Anselma (a.k.a. Lightfoot Mill) is an archetypal small, 18th century custom grain mill in Anselma, outside Chester Springs, Pennsylvania. It is probably the only surviving one in the United States with an intact colonial-era power transmission system. The district includes the old hotel and inn, two large residences, a bath house at one end of the springs, and a studio. It also includes a wooden summer house that enclosed the iron springs. The property was the site of a hospital commissioned by the Continental Congress and built in 1777. The three-story, 106 feet by 36 feet wide building burned in 1902, was reconstructed, then burned again in the 1960s. The Yellow Springs resort operated in the early-mid 19th century and many of the buildings date from that period.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1971.

The district includes 26 contributing buildings in the crossroads community of Byers Station. The buildings date to the 19th century and include a number of notable Italianate style buildings. Notable buildings include a variety of residences, a factory, a Masonic lodge (1894), and the former Byers Hotel (c. 1874). The community grew around the Byers railroad station, after its opening in 1871, and continued after plumbago (graphite) was discovered in the area in 1875.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
