William H. Greene Stadium is a 7,086 seat (10,000-for football) multi-purpose stadium in Washington, D.C., in the United States, which opened in 1926. It is home to the Howard University Bison football and soccer teams. Originally called Howard Stadium, it was renamed William H. Greene Stadium in 1986 in honor of William H. Greene, M.D., a Washington, D.C., physician.

Children's National Hospital (formerly Children's National Health System, DC Children's Hospital, Children's National Medical Center) is a nationally ranked, freestanding, 323-bed, pediatric acute care children's hospital located in Washington D.C. It is affiliated with the George Washington University School of Medicine and the Howard University College of Medicine. The hospital provides comprehensive pediatric specialties and subspecialties to infants, children, teens, and young adults aged 0–21 throughout the region. The hospital features an ACS verified level I pediatric trauma center, the only in the District of Columbia. Its regional pediatric intensive-care unit and neonatal intensive care units serve the region. The hospital also has a rooftop helipad for critical pediatric transport.Children's National is ranked among the best pediatric hospitals in the United States by U.S. News & World Report and The Leapfrog Group. In June 2021 the hospital was ranked as the #7 best children's hospital in the United States by U.S. News & World Report on the publications' honor roll list. The neonatology division was also ranked #1 in the country for the fourth year in a row.

The Founders Library in Washington, D.C. is the main library at Howard University. The building, named The Founders Library in honor of the 17 men who founded Howard University, serves as the iconic symbol of the university. Designed by architect Albert Irvin Cassell, construction began in 1937 during the presidency of Mordecai Wyatt Johnson. As the second library built for the university, the cornerstone was laid on June 10, 1937, and the building was opened for service on January 3, 1939. Today, the library houses over 1 million volumes, the Channing Pollock Theater Collection, and is the home to the Moorland-Spingarn Research Center.

Symbiosis, is a public artwork by American artist Richard Hunt, located at the Carnegie Hall on the Howard University campus in Washington, D.C., United States. Symbiosis was originally surveyed as part of the Smithsonian's Save Outdoor Sculpture! survey in 1993.

The Ralph J. Bunche International Affairs Center is a research, educational and professional development center for international affairs at Howard University in Washington, D.C. The center was founded in 1993 to serve as a resource center for students interested in pursuing careers in foreign affairs and to process subject-related inquiries from outside entities like government agencies, NGOs, corporations, other universities and foreign embassies. The center is currently headed by former U.S. Ambassador to Botswana, Horace G. Dawson, Jr., and is an affiliate member of the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs.

The Fire Department Headquarters-Fire Alarm Headquarters is an historic structure located in the Bloomingdale neighborhood in Washington, D.C. It was listed on both the District of Columbia Inventory of Historic Sites and on the National Register of Historic Places in 2011. The building was designed by Nathan C. Wyeth and built in 1939 along the McMillan Reservoir.

Two Men Reading, is a public artwork by an unknown artist, located over the entrance of 601 Fairmont Street, N.W. on the Howard University campus in Washington, D.C., United States. Two Men Reading was originally surveyed as part of the Smithsonian's Save Outdoor Sculpture! survey in 1993.

The McMillan Fountain is a public artwork by American artist Herbert Adams located on the McMillan Reservoir grounds. The fountain, completed in 1912 and dedicated in October 1919, consists of a sculptural group of the Three Graces placed upon a pink granite base. Cast by Roman Bronze Works, the fountain was originally part of a large landscape setting designed by Charles A. Platt. The fountain currently resides near its original location at McMillan Reservoir in the Bloomingdale neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Burr Gymnasium is a multi-purpose arena in Washington, D.C., which opened in 1963. It is home to the Howard University Bison men's and women's basketball teams and women's volleyball team. It is named after John Harold Burr Jr., chairman of the physical education department from 1923 to 1958. It has a seating capacity of 2,700.The Burr Gymnasium Pool located in the gym is home to the men's and women's swimming and diving teams.

The Washington Cancer Institute (WCI) is Washington, D.C.'s largest cancer care provider, treating more cancer patients than any other program in the nation's capital. The Washington Cancer Institute opened on May 9, 1992. Under the leadership of Dr. Sandra Swain, the Cancer Institute diagnosed more than 2,305 new cases during fiscal year 2007. There were more than 79,720 outpatient visits and more than 2,334 inpatient admissions during that period. WCI provides comprehensive, interdisciplinary care including surgical, radiation and medical oncology services as well as counseling for patients and families, cancer education, community outreach program and clinical research trials. The Center for Breast Health saw 15,242 patients during fiscal year 2007. WCI is affiliated with the Washington Hospital Center.
