The Lukens Historic District encompasses four properties in Coatesville, Pennsylvania associated with the 19th and early 20th-century history of the Lukens Steel Company and the family of Rebecca Lukens (1794–1854). Lukens was the first woman to head a major industrial firm in the United States, and played a leading role in the development of the American steel industry. The district was designated a National Historic Landmark District in 1994.

Abram Huston House and Carriage House, also known as the Coatesville City Hall and Police Station and "Graystone Mansion," is a historic building located at Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It was designed and built in 1889, by the architectural firm of Cope & Stewardson. The house is a 2+1⁄2-story building, built of shaped coursed stone, irregularly shaped in plan, and has a two-story wing added in 1925. The carriage house is L-shaped, and features a two-story tower with a conical roof. The house was built as the home of Abram Huston, president of the Lukens Steel Company. The house was Coatesville City Hall and the carriage house was the Coatesville jail from 1939 to 1992.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Coatesville Historic District is a national historic district located in Coatesville, Chester County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 457 contributing buildings in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of the city of Coatesville. The buildings date from the mid-18th century to 1937, with most built between 1850 and 1924. They are mostly two- and three-story commercial buildings constructed of brick. They include notable examples of the Gothic and Italianate styles. Notable buildings include the Fleming House (c. 1750), Brandywine Mansion (c. 1750), National Bank of Chester Valley (1917), St. Cecelia's Church (1870), Beth Israel Synagogue (1925), and Coatesville High School (1915). The district includes the separately listed Lukens Main Office Building, and "Terracina."It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.

Coatesville station is an Amtrak intercity rail station located in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. It is served by most Amtrak Keystone Service trains. The station has two side platforms serving the outer tracks of the three-track Philadelphia to Harrisburg Main Line.

The Coatesville High Bridge is a stone masonry arch railroad viaduct that crosses the valley of the West Branch Brandywine Creek at Coatesville, Pennsylvania. Built by the Pennsylvania Railroad between 1902 and 1904, it has ten arches (eight of 78 feet (24 m) and two of 88 feet (27 m)) and spans a total length of 934 feet (285 m), with wing walls extending it to 1,287 feet (392 m). 78 feet (24 m) high, the bridge was built to accommodate four standard gauge railroad tracks, with a total length of 52 feet (16 m).The Pennsylvania Railroad's Main Line passes along the north side of Coatesville on the southern slope of the North Valley Hills. The bridge carries the Main Line across the water gap cut by the Brandywine, as well as the former Wilmington and Northern Branch of the Reading Railroad and Pennsylvania Route 82.

Coatesville is a city in Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 13,350 at the 2020 census. Coatesville is approximately 39 miles west of Philadelphia. It developed along the Philadelphia and Lancaster Turnpike beginning in the late 18th century. It spans U.S. Route 30, the "Main Line" highway that runs west of Philadelphia. Coatesville developed in the early 20th century with the growth of the Lukens Steel Company and other industry. Its population declined after industrial restructuring, which reduced these jobs. Lukens was bought by the Bethlehem Steel Corporation in 1997. In 2002, Bethlehem was bought by the then Ohio-based International Steel Group (ISG). Later, Mittal Steel bought ISG and merged with Arcelor Steel to form the ArcelorMittal company. In 2020, Cleveland-Cliffs acquired the United States operations of ArcelorMittal.

St. Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church is a 19th-century African American church located at 703 Merchant Street in Coatesville, Pennsylvania. The church was organized in 1864, relocated to its current location in 1874, and substantially renovated in 1894. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 12, 2012.

County Bridge No. 101 is a historic stone arch bridge located in Valley Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It spans Brandywine Creek. It has four stilted arch spans, each of which are 40-feet long. The bridge was constructed in 1918.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1988.
