Green Hill High School (GHHS) is a public high school in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. It is one of the largest public schools in Wilson County and is part of the Wilson County School District. Completed in the fall of 2020, Green Hill High School is the largest public project in Wilson County history, with a budget of 107 million. GHHS sits on a 60-acre campus, and the facilities have a 400,000+ square-foot footprint. The school has a capacity of 2,000 students. It serves northwest portions of Mt. Juliet and northern Green Hill.Green Hill High School's principal is Kevin Dawson. The school's colors are green and white, and the mascot is a hawk named Tony. Students reportedly named the mascot after professional skater Tony Hawk.

The Warner Price Mumford Smith House, also known as Old Home Place, is a historic two-story cedar-plank I-house with a Greek Revival portico in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, U.S. The land was granted to Private Charles Webb; the house later belonged to John Bell Vivrett. It was purchased by Warner Price Mumford Smith and his wife, Augusta Amelia Houser in 1853; the Smiths owned a flour mill and a stagecoach stop. Their son, Robert Edmund Lee Smith, purchased the house in 1909; it was inherited by their daughter Dora Smith Moser in 1967, and by their grandson, Michael F. Moser, in 1991. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since July 22, 1993.The anarchist publisher Ross Winn was married to Augusta "Gussie" Smith, and the two lived together in this house from 1900 until Winn's death from tuberculosis in 1912. During this time he published the newspaper Winn's Firebrand, and later The Advance, from this house.

Mt. Juliet High School (MJHS) is a public high school located in Wilson County, Tennessee. It is not within Mt. Juliet city limits, but it serves parts of southern and eastern Mt. Juliet. Ryan Hill, a 2005 MJHS graduate, became the principal July 1st, 2023.In 2008, MJHS moved from its previous building on N Mt. Juliet Road to a new building located at 1800 Curd Road. The old building became Mt. Juliet Middle School. The address changed to 1875 Golden Bear Gateway in 2017.The school's slogan is "Bear Pride Mt. Juliet High."

Mt. Juliet (also referred to as Mount Juliet) is a city located in western Wilson County, Tennessee. A suburb of Nashville, it is approximately 17 miles (27 km) east of downtown Nashville. Mt. Juliet is located mostly between two major national east-west routes, Interstate 40 and U.S. Route 70. As of the 2020 United States census, Mount Juliet has a population of approximately 39,289 people. Mt. Juliet is the largest city in Wilson County. The official city charter has the name listed as Mt. Juliet; however, the United States Postal Service lists its name as Mount Juliet.

The John Cloyd House is a historic house in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, U.S.. It was built as a log house in 1791 for Captain John Cloyd, a settler who migrated to Tennessee with Colonel John Donelson. It was inherited by his son, John W. Cloyd, followed by the latter's daughter, Ella Cloyd Ligon. By the 1970s, it was owned by her son, Daniel Ligon. However, the original log house is only the front room of the modern-day house. The room includes Captain Cloyd's old bed.It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 1, 1974.

Mt. Juliet station is a train station in Mount Juliet, Tennessee, serving Nashville's commuter rail service, the WeGo Star. Service began September 18, 2006.

Rock Castle State Historic Site, located in Hendersonville, Sumner County, Tennessee, is the former home of Daniel Smith. Construction began in 1784; its completion was delayed by conflicts with area Native Americans and the house was completed in 1796. It is listed with the National Register of Historic Places and is open to the public. It is one of the Tennessee Historical Commission's State-Owned Historic Sites and is operated by the Friends of Rock Castle in partnership with the Tennessee Historical Commission.

Old Hickory Lake is a reservoir in north central Tennessee. It is formed by the Old Hickory Lock and Dam (36°17′48″N 86°39′20″W), located on the Cumberland River at mile 216.2 in Sumner and Davidson counties, approximately 25 miles (40 km) upstream from Nashville. The city of Hendersonville is situated on the northern shoreline of the lake, and Old Hickory, a portion of Metropolitan Nashville-Davidson County, is located on the southern side of the lake, just upstream of the lock and dam. The lake extends 97.3 miles (156.6 km) upstream to Cordell Hull Lock and Dam (36°17′25″N 85°56′36″W), near Carthage, Tennessee. The dam and lake are named after President Andrew Jackson (nicknamed "Old Hickory"), who lived in the vicinity, at The Hermitage. The lock, dam, powerhouse and lake are operated and supervised by U.S. Army Corps of Engineers staff under the direction of the District Engineer at Nashville. Construction started in January 1952, and dam closure was completed in June 1954. Historic Rock Castle, completed in 1796, is the former home of pioneer Daniel Smith. He is known for his contributions in settling Hendersonville in the early nineteenth century. The lake now borders this property. Old Hickory Lake is a mainstream storage impoundment on the Cumberland River operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The reservoir contains 22,500 acres (91 km2) at an elevation of 445 feet (above sea level) and extends 97.3 river miles. Water level fluctuations are minimal with minimum pool elevation at 442 feet (135 m). Public facilities include eight marinas, two Corps-operated campgrounds, and 41 boat access sites, as well as the Old Hickory Lake Arboretum.

Trinity Music City, now called Huckabee Theater and formerly Twitty City, is an entertainment complex in Hendersonville, Tennessee. It was famous for its lavish Christmas decorations, and includes the Conway Twitty Mansion and Memorial Gardens. Since Twitty's death, it has been converted into a Christian music venue owned by the Trinity Broadcasting Network, along with the studios of their Nashville area station WPGD-TV. It is also the home to Mike Huckabee's television show, Huckabee, which is also broadcast live from the venue's studios.

The Daniel Smith Donelson House, also known as Eventide, is a historic house in Hendersonville, Tennessee, U.S.. The house was built circa 1830 for Daniel Smith Donelson, a nephew of U.S. President Andrew Jackson and son-in-law of U.S. Navy Secretary John Branch. The Donelsons resided here with their 11 children until they moved to Hazel Path in 1857. During the American Civil War of 1861–1865, Donelson served as a major general in the Confederate States Army. The house remained in the Donelson family until 1979.The house was designed in the Federal architectural style. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 4, 1983.

The House of Cash was a museum in Hendersonville, Tennessee, owned by American musician Johnny Cash and his wife June Carter Cash, and devoted to his life and work. With part of the building also used as their headquarters offices, the museum opened in 1970, adapted from a dinner theatre built in 1960. It closed before his death in 2003. It was located at 700 East Main Street (now known as Johnny Cash Parkway). A new and unrelated Johnny Cash Museum opened in Nashville, Tennessee, in 2013.
