Praia de Odeceixe Mar

Praia das Adegas is a beach situated in Odeceixe, municipality of Aljezur, in the Atlantic west coast of Algarve, southern Portugal. It is one of the six official naturist beaches in the country.

Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park (PNSACV) is a natural park located in southwest Portugal. It occupies an area of 895.7 km2 (345.8 sq mi) (605.8 km2 (233.9 sq mi) on land and 289.9 km2 (111.9 sq mi) at sea) and is one of the last strongholds of the wild European coast. It has one of the highest levels of biodiversity in the country with over 12 endemic species of plant and several bird nesting sites. The park was created on 7 July 1988 in order to promote the protection and sustainable use of natural resources and other natural, landscape and cultural values while promoting the economic, social and cultural development of the region. Since the last decade, the region has been marked by the expansion of intensive agriculture, either sanctioned or actively promoted by the government via the passing of laws that encourage the creation of new greenhouses to grow crops for the export market, dependant on labour that is often exploited, working in living in precarious conditions, and that damages local fauna, flora and water resources.

Odeceixe is a village and civil parish in the northern part of the municipality of Aljezur, in the Portuguese Algarve, lying within the Nature Park of the Southwest Alentejo and Vincentine Coast. The village lies on the south bank of the Ribeira de Seixe, which here forms the border between the Algarve and Alentejo. The population of the parish in 2011 was 961, in an area of 41.91 km2.

The beach is 2.3 miles (3.7 km) north west of the village and municipality of Rogil, and is 73 miles (117 km) north west, by road, from the regions capital of Faro.

Praia do Vale dos Homens is a beach within the Municipality of Aljezur, in the Algarve, Portugal. The beach is on the western seaboard in the north west of the Algarve. The beach is 1.7 miles (2.7 km) north west of the village of Rogil, and is 72.4 miles (116.5 km) north west, by road, from the region's capital of Faro.

Rogil is a Portuguese civil parish in Aljezur Municipality. It lies within the Southwest Alentejo and Vicentine Coast Natural Park. The population in 2011 was 1,126, in an area of 34.96 km².The village of Rogil lies on a plateau at about 95 metres above sea level. There is no church listed on the diocesan website.

Zambujeira do Mar is a former civil parish in the municipality of Odemira, Alentejo region, Portugal. In 2013, the parish merged into the parish São Teotónio. Odemira Municipality in the Portuguese. It has a population of 911 inhabitants, dispersed over an area of 42.96 square kilometres (16.59 sq mi).

Praia da Carreagem (sometimes written Praia da Carriagem) is a beach within the Municipality of Aljezur, in the Algarve, Portugal. The beach is on the western Seaboard in the north west of the Algarve. The beach is 2.6 miles (4.2 km) west of the village of Rogil, and is 71.8 miles (115.6 km) north west, by road, from the regions capital of Faro. The beach is inside the Vicentine Coast Natural Park.

The beach is 5.4 miles (8.7 km) north west of the village of Aljezur, and is 71.8 miles (115.6 km) north west, by road, from the regions capital of Faro.

São Teotónio is a civil parish in the municipality of Odemira, Portugal. The population in 2011 was 6,439, in an area of 347.25 km2. In 2013 the former parish Zambujeira do Mar merged into the existing parish of São Teotónio.

Praia do monte Clérigo is a beach within the municipality of Aljezur, in Algarve, Portugal. The beach is on the western Seaboard in the north west of the Algarve. The beach is 5.1 miles (8.2 km) north west of the village of Aljezur, and is 70.0 miles (112.7 km) north west, by road, from the regions capital of Faro. Praia do monte Clérigohas been designated a blue Flag beach (2012).
