Dome (pronounced Dor-mi) is a town in the Ga East Municipal District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. As of 2012, Dome is the nineteenth largest settlement in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 78,785 people.

Taifa is a town in the Ga East Municipal District, a district in the Greater Accra Region of south-eastern Ghana near the capital Accra. Taifa is the twenty-sixth largest settlement in Ghana, in terms of population, with a population of 68,459 people. Taifa is located in the northwest suburbs area of Accra. It has a breakpoint on a railway line and a small park located on the northern edge of the location of the Taifa Ghana Atomic Energy Commission. At the Ghana 2000 census of 26 March 2000, the population was 26,145 inhabitants living in the city. Projections of 1 January 2007 estimated the population to be 48,927 inhabitants. In the census of 1984 there was only 1,009 inhabitants. The strong population growth of the Town is influenced by, among other things, many illegal immigrants from west African countries who move to towns and villages near the industrial town of Tema to find a job. Additionally, one of the challenges faced by Taifa is the poor condition of its roads, which remain untarred and in a state of disrepair. Unfortunately, despite the evident issue, the government has not taken sufficient action to address this problem, leaving the community to contend with inadequate infrastructure.

The Achimota Retail Centre is a shopping centre located at Dome near the St. John's Grammar School, along the Accra—Nsawam Highway in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The shopping centre is owned by Delico Achimota Limited, the same group that is the majority shareholder of West Hills Mall.

Haatso is a town in the Ga East Municipal district, a district in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Christian Village is a town in the Accra Metropolitan district, a district of the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

Ga North Municipal District is one of the twenty-nine districts in Greater Accra Region, Ghana. Originally it was formerly part of the then-larger Ga West District in 2004, until the eastern part of the district was split off to create Ga North Municipal District on 15 March 2018, which was supported by Legislative Instrument (L.I.) 2314; thus the remaining part has been retained as Ga West Municipal District. The municipality is located in the western part of Greater Accra Region and has Ofankor as its capital town.

Mobile Web Ghana is a technology hub and a co-working space in Accra, Ghana that empowers entrepreneurs and the youth through mobile and web technology training. It was started in October 2010, as part of the World Wide Web Foundation ‘Mobile Entrepreneurship Ghana’ program. Mobile Web Ghana was among the tech hubs represented at Impact Hub Accra during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte. MWG and iSpace Foundation led the Unlocking Women and Technology (UWAT) to equip women and ladies technology and entrepreneurial skills in Accra.

The Reverend John Teye Memorial Institute is a private Christian school located at Ofankor in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. The school is well known in Ghana for its scholarship and for the Reverend John Teye Memorial School Band which is invited often to perform at various occasions including national events.

Wisconsin International University College, Ghana is a private university in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana. It was established in January 2000 and is accredited by the National Accreditation Board as a university college and affiliated to the University of Ghana, University of Cape Coast, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and University for Development Studies.

Achimota Transport Terminal was inaugurated in December, 2009, with the aim of reducing congestion on the Accra-Nsawam road. The terminal can accommodate 800 vehicles and includes other facilities such as a police station and a clinic. It was started by President Kufour but was inaugurated by the Mills administration.

The Legon Botanical Gardens is located in the University of Ghana, Accra. It is owned by the University of Ghana and managed by both the Department of Botany and Mulch Company Ltd. It has a natural vegetation of 50 hectares. It was founded in 1950. It is a recreational center with a playground, canopy walks, and natural outdoor space with lakes.

The Balme Library, established in 1948 is located on the main campus of the University of Ghana. The Balme Library was named after David Mowbray Balme, the first Principal of the University of Ghana. The Balme Library is the main library of the University of Ghana and is also the largest within the University of Ghana Library System (UGLS). It is endowed with information resources, IT infrastructure and expert staff. Since its establishment in 1948, the library has gone through successive growth with its printed book collection totaling over 400,000 volumes. The library subscribes to an increasing number of online databases including electronic journals (e-journals) and electronic books (e-books). The Balme Library together with the various satellite libraries in schools, institutes, faculties, departments and halls of residence of the university, form the University of Ghana Library System (UGLS).
