It was built during the Great Depression, and in order to save money, one set of blueprints was used for Lincoln and other high schools in New York City, including Bayside High School, Samuel J. Tilden High School, John Adams High School, and Grover Cleveland High School. The school features five gymnasiums, an outdoor football and track and field, a swimming pool, a photography studio, an animal science lab, an office classroom and an auditorium.

Amalgamated Warbasse Houses is a limited equity housing cooperative in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City. It is named after Dr. James Peter Warbasse and was built by the United Housing Foundation and the Amalgamated Clothing Workers Union.

Jewish Center of Coney Island, also known as the Jewish Center of Brighton Beach, is a historic synagogue and community center located in the Brighton Beach neighborhood of Brooklyn, Kings County, New York. The synagogue was built in 1929–1930, and is a four-story-with-basement trapezoidal shaped building in the Renaissance Revival style. The front facade is clad in golden-colored stone and features a grand staircase and second story loggia. The building is capped by a hipped roof of red tile.: 3 It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013.

The West Eighth Street–New York Aquarium station is a New York City Subway station, located on the BMT Brighton Line and IND Culver Line in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn. The station is located over the private right-of-way of the defunct New York and Coney Island Railroad north of Surf Avenue, running easterly from West 8th Street. It is served by the F and Q trains at all times, and by the train during rush hours in the peak direction. This station is geographically the southernmost station in the entire New York City Subway system.

Culver Depot, also called Culver Terminal or Culver Plaza, was a railroad and streetcar terminal in Coney Island, Brooklyn, New York City, United States, located on the northern side of Surf Avenue near West 5th Street. It was just north of the boardwalk, near the former Luna Park amusement complex, and across from the current New York Aquarium. Originally built by the Prospect Park and Coney Island Railroad for the Culver surface line, it later became a major terminal for the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Company (BRT).

Coney Island Hospital is a public teaching hospital located in the Coney Island neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York City. It is owned by NYC Health + Hospitals, a public benefit corporation of the city. The hospital is home to FDNY-EMS Station 43, formerly NYC-EMS Station 31, and is a major clinical affiliate for clinical clerkship with the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine.The hospital's name was legally changed in 2015 to NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island, proclaiming a change "from a hospital-centric corporation to a healthcare delivery system." The longer name was part of the parent body's shortening of its name from New York City Health and Hospital Corporation.

Flip Flap Railway was the name of a looping wooden roller coaster which operated for a number of years at Paul Boyton's Sea Lion Park on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York. The coaster, which opened in 1895, was the first looping roller coaster to operate in North America. It was also notable for its engineering as well as the extreme G-forces that this engineering inflicted on riders.

The statue of Ruth Bader Ginsburg is a 7 ft (2.1 m) bronze statue of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the second woman to serve on the United States Supreme Court. It was installed outside 445 Albee Square in Downtown Brooklyn's City Point in New York City on March 12, 2021. The statue was moved to South Brooklyn Health in October 2022 and is located inside the lobby of the facility's Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital, which opened on May 2, 2023.

The New York City Transit Authority operates a total of 24 rail yards for the New York City Subway system, and one for the Staten Island Railway. There are 10 active A Division yards and 11 active B Division yards, two of which are shared between divisions for storage and car washing. In addition, there is one yard for the Staten Island Railway and three non-revenue (Maintenance of Way, or MoW) Division-independent yards. Many of the system's yards are used for off-peak storage, whereas some have inspection facilities where basic routine maintenance is carried out. Of these yards, rolling stock are assigned to seven A Division yards and seven B Division yards. Within the yards are 14 maintenance facilities, whereas two yards (207th Street and Coney Island) perform major overhaul and car rebuilding work.
