Ma On Shan Country Park (Chinese: 馬鞍山郊野公園) is a park located in the central neck of the Sai Kung Peninsula in the eastern New Territories of Hong Kong. The park covers an area of 28.8 square kilometres (11.1 sq mi) and links Sai Kung Country Park and Lion Rock Country Park to form an extensive recreation area on the Ma On Shan massif.

Tiu Shau Ngam (Chinese: 吊手岩; literally: "Hanging Hand Crag"), is a mountain in Hong Kong with a height of 588 metres (1,929 ft). It is located north of Ma On Shan, the tallest mountain in the region. It is part of the west ridge of The Hunch Backs and is a well-known precipitous peak. It is also one of 16 "high-risk locations" for hikers in Hong Kong.

Ma On Shan (Chinese: 馬鞍山; literally: Horse Saddle Peak) is a saddle-shaped peak in east of Tolo Harbour in the New Territories of Hong Kong. With a height of 702 metres (2,303 ft), it stands among the ten highest mountains in Hong Kong. The mountain borders Sha Tin and Tai Po districts. Beneath the west face of the mountain along Tolo Harbour, the Ma On Shan new town extension, administratively part of Sha Tin, is named after the hill. It ends north in Wu Kai Sha.

The Ma On Shan Iron Mine (Chinese: 馬鞍山鐵礦) is a mine in the hills of Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong, that was operated from 1906 to 1976. The nearby Ma On Shan Village accommodated the miners and their families.

Lee On Estate (Chinese: 利安邨) is a public housing estate in Wu Kai Sha, Ma On Shan, New Territories, Hong Kong near MTR Wu Kai Sha station. It is the third public housing estate in Ma On Shan. It consists of five residential buildings completed in 1993 and 1994. Kam Lung Court (錦龍苑) is a Home Ownership Scheme court in Ma On Shan, near Lee On Estate. It consists of four blocks built in 1993.

Cheung Muk Tau (Chinese: 樟木頭) is a village of in the Shap Sze Heung area of Sai Kung North, in Tai Po District, Hong Kong.

Ma On Shan Village or Ma On Shan Tsuen (Chinese: 馬鞍山村) is a mining village in the hills of Ma On Shan, Sha Tin District, Hong Kong. The village grew around the activity of the Ma On Shan Iron Mine, which reached its peak during the 1950s-60s and ceased operation in 1976. It had historically two churches, St. Joseph's Church and Lutheran Yan Kwong Church.

Shap Sze Heung, sometimes transliterated as Shap Sz Heung (Chinese: 十四鄉; lit. 'Fourteen Townships'), is an area in Hong Kong located in the northern part of the Sai Kung Peninsula.

Lake Silver (Chinese: 銀湖·天峰), formerly known as Lake W (銀峰·湖泊) is a private housing estate developed by MTR Corporation and Sino Land. It is located in Ma On Shan, Hong Kong between Wu Kai Sha station and Monte Vista, another housing development. The whole project covers an area of 370,000 square feet (34,000 m2), and was completed in 2009. Lake Silver comprises a shopping centre with flats above. Its advertising featured the song "Con Te Partirò" by Italian singer Andrea Bocelli.

Wu Kai Sha is the southern terminus on the Tuen Ma line of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is located between Sai Sha Road and Sha On Street in Wu Kai Sha, serving the many housing estates and schools nearby. The station was originally named "Lee On station" when the Ma On Shan line was under construction, because the station is located to the east of Lee On Estate.

Tai Tung Wo Liu (Chinese: 大洞禾寮) or Tin Liu (田寮) is a village of in the Shap Sze Heung area of Sai Kung North, in Tai Po District, Hong Kong.

Sai O (Chinese: 西澳) is a village of in the Shap Sze Heung area of Sai Kung North, in Tai Po District, Hong Kong.
