Bedolah (Hebrew: בְּדֹלַח, lit. Crystal) was an Israeli settlement and army base in the Gush Katif settlement bloc, located in the southwest edge of the Gaza Strip. Home to 220 religious Jews, its inhabitants were evicted, its houses demolished, and its land surrendered to the Palestinian National Authority as part of Israel's disengagement of 2005.

Gush Katif (Hebrew: גוש קטיף, lit. 'Harvest Bloc') was a bloc of 17 Israeli settlements in the southern Gaza Strip. In August 2005, the Israeli army forcibly removed the 8,600 Jewish residents from their homes after a decision from the Cabinet of Israel. The communities were demolished as part of Israel's unilateral disengagement from Gaza.

Kfar Yam (Hebrew: כפר ים) was one of the Gaza Strip Israeli Settlements abandoned in Israel's 2005 disengagement plan.

Bnei Atzmon (Hebrew: בְּנֵי עַצְמוֹן) was an Israeli settlement previously in the Sinai Peninsula, later moved to the Gaza Strip before being destroyed in 2005.

On 26 May 2024, the Israeli Air Force bombed a displacement camp in Tel al-Sultan, Rafah. The attack, which set the camp on fire, killed between 45 and 50 Palestinians and injured more than 200. Sometimes referred to as the Rafah tent massacre or as the Tent Massacre (Arabic: مجزرة الخيم, romanized: Majzarat al-khiyam), it was the deadliest incident of the Rafah offensive. When Israel invaded Rafah and ordered the evacuation of its east, some citizens fled to other parts of the city, like Tel al-Sultan, seeking safety. One week before the bombing, Israel had designated the neighborhood as a "safe zone" and dropped leaflets instructing Palestinians to move there. Two days before the attack, the International Court of Justice ordered Israel to halt its offensive, but Israel interpreted the order differently and continued its operations. On the night of the attack, Israel struck the neighborhood with two U.S. made GBU-39 glide bombs. The bombs ignited a fire in the "Kuwaiti Peace" tent camp; many civilians were trapped and burned alive. Israel killed four militants and injured one commander. It claimed it attacked an outside "Hamas compound" and accidentally set off the fire. However, videos and satellite images showed that the location of the airstrike was inside the refugee camp itself, and some sources alleged Israel deliberately targeted civilians. Military analysts stated that bombs used by Israel have a large effect radius, and therefore should not have been used in a densely populated civilian area. An investigation by Amnesty International concluded that militants were in the camp, but that Israel knowingly put civilians at risk. Images of the attack spread internationally, described as "some of the worst" of the war.

Gadid (Hebrew: גָּדִיד) was an Israeli settlement and Moshav located in the middle of the Gush Katif settlement bloc whose residents were expelled in Israel's disengagement of 2005. The origin of the name Gadid comes from the term used in the bible to describe the harvest of dates in the area.

Pe'at Sadeh (Hebrew: פְּאַת שָׂדֶה, lit. Mouth Field) was an Israeli settlement, in the Gaza Strip until 2005.

Kerem Atzmona (Hebrew: כרם עצמונה) was an unauthorized Israeli outpost in the Gush Katif settlement bloc, located in the south-west edge of the Gaza Strip, and evacuated as part of Israel's unilateral disengagement plan of 2005.

The Hof Aza Regional Council (Hebrew: מועצה אזורית חוף עזה, "Gaza Coast Regional Council") was a regional council of Israel until 2005 when its residents were evicted from their homes and the area was liquidated as part of Israel's unilateral disengagement plan. The seat was in Neve Dekalim. The public buildings of the regional council and adjacent strip mall in Neve Dekalim were not destroyed and the Palestinian Al-Aqsa University opened a campus on the site shortly after the Israeli evacuation.

Neve Dekalim (Hebrew: נְוֵה דְּקָלִים) (lit. "Oasis of Palms") was an Israeli settlement and a community in the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the Gaza Strip. It was founded in 1983 after the Israeli withdrawal from the Sinai Peninsula. Neve Dekalim served as a regional center for the Gush Katif region and was the seat of the Hof Aza Regional Council. It was located between the Khan Yunis Palestinian refugee camp and the Mediterranean Sea. Neve Dekalim was evacuated in August 2005 as part of Israel's unilateral disengagement plan. It was turned into a training camp by Hamas, which described it as a "military training camp for martyrs."

Slav (Hebrew: שְׂלָו, lit. Quail) was a Jewish village and an Israeli settlement in the Gush Katif settlement bloc, located in the south-west edge of the Gaza Strip until 2005.

Shirat HaYam (Hebrew: שִׁירַת הַיָּם, lit. Song of the Sea) was an Israeli settlement established in 2001 on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea west of Neve Dekalim in the Gush Katif settlement bloc in the Gaza Strip until 2005.
