Itagüí is a station on line A of the Medellín Metro going south. It is named after the city where it is located, Itagüí. The station was opened on 30 September 1996 as the terminus of the extension of the line from Poblado. On 17 September 2012, the line was extended to La Estrella.In 2012, the second expansion of line A took place. Before the second expansion of the Medellín Metro, this was a terminal station for line A.

Estadio Polideportivo Sur is a multi-purpose stadium in Envigado, Colombia that is currently used mostly for football matches. The stadium has a capacity of 11,000 people and was built in 1992. Envigado FC play their home matches at this stadium.The stadium was renovated in 2009 to prepare for the 2010 South American Games held in Medellín. The renovations added a roof to the main section to protect the fans from weather and beautified the green areas outside the stadium.

The Los Fundadores Bridge (Spanish: Intercambio Vial Los Fundadores), also known as the Peldar Bridge because of its location, is a concrete cable-stayed bridge in Envigado, Colombia. The bridge carries Las Vegas Avenue and crosses 37th Street. The construction of the bridge was also central to the regeneration plan for the neighborhood. This bridge was conceived as representation of the effort and persistence of the community to overcome the convulsed situation that prevailed in the country at the time of construction. The municipality faced with the challenge to build a road connection in the Las Vegas Avenue, decided to design a bridge of exceptional character, a landmark.

Sabaneta is a municipality of Colombia, located in the Aburrá Valley of the Antioquia department. Ayurá is the 17th station on line A of the Medellín Metro going south. It is the first stop on line A that is outside the city limits of Medellín, being in the city of Envigado instead. The Carrefour in Envigado is near this stop, on Las Vegas Avenue. The station was opened on 30 September 1996 as part of the extension of the line from Poblado to Itagüí.

La Estrella (English: "The Star"), also known as Ancón, is a station on line A of the Medellín Metro going south. It is located in the La Estrella municipality of Colombia. It was inaugurated on September 17, 2012 as part of the extension of the line from Itagüí in a ceremony attended by the current president of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos; Governor of Antioquia, Sergio Fajardo; and Medellin Mayor Aníbal Gaviria.This station was designed as part of the larger project "Centrality South" for the metropolitan area to meet the needs of the inhabitants of southern Valle de Aburrá. Currently, it is the only semi-underground station.

It is the last stop on the metro that is within the city limits of Medellín, and it is located in the industrial area of the city. The station was opened on 30 September 1996 as part of the extension of the line from Poblado to Itagüí.The station is immediate to the Liquor Factory of Antioquia and is adjacent to the Medellín River. It is also near EAFIT University.

Envigado (Spanish pronunciation: [enbiˈɣaðo]) is a town southeast of Medellín, Colombia in the department of Antioquia. It is located in the Metropolitan Area of the Aburrá Valley. It borders El Poblado, Medellín to the north, Sabaneta to the south, El Retiro and Caldas to the east, and Itagüí to the west. Envigado is known for maintaining the traditions of the Paisa Region and for its architecture. It also has one of the highest standards of living in Colombia and according to the Colombian magazine Semana, it has the lowest rate in the country of, what the magazine calls, “people with unmet basic needs”.Its recent history is closely associated with Pablo Escobar and the Medellin cartel. Despite its connection with Escobar, the Aburrá Valley now has one of the lowest homicide rates in Colombia: 6 for every 100,000 people,Envigado is the hometown of the Colombian writer and philosopher Fernando González. His house, Otraparte, today is a cultural center and museum dedicated to his memory and works.
