Nollville, West Virginia

Berkeley County is located in the Shenandoah Valley in the Eastern Panhandle region of West Virginia in the United States. The county is part of the Hagerstown-Martinsburg, MD-WV Metropolitan Statistical Area. As of the 2020 census, the county population was 122,076, making it the second-most populous of West Virginia's 55 counties, behind Kanawha County. The City of Martinsburg is the county seat.

Ridge Road Historic District is a national historic district located near Nollville, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses six contributing buildings and two contributing sites, related to the early settlement and economic development along Apple Pie Ridge. They buildings are the: Harriett Lyle Henshaw House, Smith Miller House (1850s), Philip Pendleton House (c. 1785), Noll-Rentch House, and Noll House (c. 1780). The Isabella Lyle House (1802) burned in a fire on February 28, 1999.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980.

Henry J. Seibert II House, also known as "Seibert Villa," is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1867, and is a two-story, L-shaped brick dwelling in the Late Greek Revival-style. It measures 36 feet wide by 76 feet long and sits on a stone foundation. It features a three-bay, one-story hip-roof porch added about 1890. Also on the property are two contributing outbuildings.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1985.

Blue Ridge Community and Technical College is a public community college in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Formerly the Community and Technical College of Shepherd, it was part of Shepherd College until March 2005, when it was accredited as an independent institution. One year later it was officially renamed Blue Ridge Community and Technical College. Blue Ridge CTC has over 40 collegiate level associate degree and certificate programs, and workforce development and training.

The Commons is a 420 SF open-air shopping center located on Retail Commons Parkway at the intersection of Exit 12 on Interstate 81 and Route 45 in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

Foxcroft Towne Center at Martinsburg (formerly Martinsburg Mall) was a regional shopping mall in Martinsburg, West Virginia. Completed in 1991, the mall contained more than 50 retailers, including The Bon-Ton (originally Hess's) and Walmart, which was expanded from a discount store to a Supercenter in 1998. Foxcroft Towne Center at Martinsburg was a retail hub for the Eastern Panhandle of West Virginia. The Martinsburg Mall changed its name to Foxcroft Towne Center at Martinsburg effective October 1, 2015. On September 8, 2016 owners announced that the mall would close on November 1, 2016. The mall will be demolished, except for The Bon-Ton (which closed in 2018), JCPenney, and Walmart. JCPenney closed on July 31, 2017. They plan on redeveloping the site for more retail. As of 2019 the former JCPenney is now a Hobby Lobby and the former Hess's/The Bon-Ton is now Grand Home Furnishings. None of the original mall interior remains except for an empty lot where the middle pavilion and food court once stood. Several Businesses have opened in new buildings built onto the former Sears (which closed in 2011) parking lot, which include Firehouse Subs, Panera Bread, and some empty retail spaces. The anchor stores are Walmart, Party City, Hobby Lobby, and Grand Home Furnishings.

Elias Pitzer House is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1856 and is an L-shaped, two-story, brick Greek Revival-style dwelling. It is five bays wide and has a gable roof. The front entry features a one-story, one-bay, Greek Revival-style portico.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

Nathan VanMetre House is a historic home located near Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It was built in 1872, and is a two-story, eight bay wide rectangular brick house with a steeply pitched gable roof, in the Greek Revival style. The main section of the house is five bays wide. Also on the property is a small brick smokehouse (1872), large bank barn (1872), garage (c. 1920), two silos (c. 1915 and c. 1920), and chicken house (c. 1920).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994.

West Martinsburg Historic District is a national historic district located at Martinsburg, Berkeley County, West Virginia. It encompasses 138 contributing buildings constructed between about 1900 and 1956. It is primarily residential and many of the earlier houses in the district represent the “small house” movement of the 1920s and 1930s. The houses reflect popular architectural styles from the first half of the 20th century including the Bungalow, American Craftsman, American Foursquare, and Colonial Revival styles.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2010.

Ar-Qua Springs, also known as the Thomas Thornbrough House or the Thomas Thornburgh House was built beginning about 1751 near Arden, West Virginia. The house was built by local Quaker elder Thomas Thornbrough, beginning as a one-room, 1½ story limestone rubble house that was quickly expanded with log additions. The house may have been used as a Quaker meeting house during the 18th century. The house in its present state is two stories in five bays with sections of stone and log. A gambrel roof was added to create additional living space on the second floor. The house has been largely unaltered, apart from the 1960s removal of an attached washhouse and fireplace. The original stone section comprises a single room on the lower level with a fireplace, and two rooms on the upper level. The log section contains on its lower level a dining room, den, kitchen, bathroom and laundry. Its upper level contains two bedrooms, a bathroom and a family room. The house pictured is not the actual house.The property includes a two-level stone springhouse. Ar-Qua Springs was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.

The Boomtown Historic District comprises the western and southern portions of Martinsburg, West Virginia, generally along the alignments of West King Street and Winchester Avenue, following the general path of the town's electric streetcar system. It includes a former industrial section of the town, home to a number of textile mills, as well as the housing that was built for mill workers. Boomtown's central core is along Virginia, West Virginia and Faulkner Avenues, centering on the fountain at Virginia and Faulkner. The area consists of primarily middle-class Victorian-style houses, in contrast to the more modest working-class houses on the opposite side of Winchester Avenue. The greatest building activity took place after 1891, when the Martinsburg Mining and Manufacturing Company developed the area in conjunction with the opening of streetcar service.Industrial buildings include the former homes of the Shenandoah Pants Company, Brooklyn Brass Works and the Interwoven Mills. The Crawford Woolen and Cashmere Mills stand along Stephen Street.The area was designated a historic district in 1980. It includes the separately-listed Abell-Kilbourn House.

Rosemont Historic District in Martinsburg, West Virginia, is a historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2002.
