Santo Stefano is a Catholic church and former cathedral on the island of Capri, Italy. Dedicated to Saint Stephen, it is the principal house of worship in the town of Capri. The religious complex was built around the Piazza Umberto I square in the seventeenth century. The archbishop's palace is now used as the town hall ("Municipio"). Santo Stefano and Chiesa di San Costanzo are the island's two oldest churches.

The Capri funicular (Italian: Funicolare di Capri) is a funicular railway on the island of Capri, in the Campania region of Italy. The line connects the Marina Grande on the coast with the Piazza Umberto I in the centre of the island. It is 670 metres (2,200 ft) long and includes a 68-metre (223 ft) tunnel and a 50-metre (160 ft) viaduct, climbing a vertical distance of 139 metres (456 ft). The line was built by Von Roll and opened in 1907, being managed by the Società Imprese Capri (SIC). It was rebuilt in 1958, with the old four-wheeled cars replaced by much larger bogie cars, and the haulage equipment also replaced. A further rebuilding in 1991 again replaced the cars and haulage equipment. The line underwent a four-month upgrade in early 2018, with the work including replacement of the winding motors and a remodelling of the two cars, resulting in a 20% increase in capacity. The line is now operated by the Società Anonima Imprese Pubbliche e Private Isola di Capri (SIPPIC) and operates every 15 minutes, or more frequently on demand, between 06:30 and 20:30 daily. The Gardens of Augustus (Italian: Giardini di Augusto), originally known by the name of Krupp Gardens, are botanical gardens on the island of Capri, Campania, Italy. The gardens were established by the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp in the early twentieth century to build his mansion in Capri. Initially the gardens took on the name of "Krupp Gardens", a title held until 1918, when the gardens were renamed "Gardens of Augustus", the title they are known as today. The gardens, designed in terraces overlooking the sea, can be considered a testament to the rich flora of the island of Capri, with various ornamental plants and flowers such as geraniums, dahlias and brooms. In the gardens there is a monument to Vladimir Lenin, one of the few of its kind in Italy, created in 1968, after the approval of a municipal resolution, by the Italian sculptor Giacomo Manzu to which the Soviet Embassy in Italy commissioned the work. The monument, consisting of several 5 meter high blocks of marble, is located in the gardens in front of the house of the Russian writer Maxim Gorky, who hosted Lenin there in 1908. From the Gardens of Augustus one can get a 180-degree panoramic of the island of Capri because one can see Mount Solaro, the bay of Marina Piccola, and the Faraglioni.

Via Krupp is a historic hairpin turn paved footpath on the island of Capri, connecting the Charterhouse of San Giacomo and the Gardens of Augustus area with Marina Piccola. Commissioned by the German industrialist Friedrich Alfred Krupp, the path covers an elevation difference of about 100 m (330 ft). Built between 1900 and 1902, Via Krupp was ostensibly a connection for Krupp between his luxury hotel, Grand Hotel Quisisana, and Marina Piccola, where his marine biology research vessel lay at anchor. Secretly, however, this path also conveyed him to the Grotta di Fra Felice, a grotto where sex orgies with local youths took place. When the scandal surfaced, Krupp was asked to leave Italy in 1902. Since 1976, Via Krupp has been closed most of the time due to the danger of falling rocks.

The Charterhouse of St. James (Italian: Certosa di San Giacomo) was a Carthusian charterhouse founded in 1363 by Giacomo Arcucci on the island of Capri, in southern Italy. It is now a museum and is used for cultural events. The buildings that formed the charterhouse have three main areas: the pharmacy and women's church, the buildings for monks, and those for guests. The Great Cloister (Chiostro Grande) is of a late Renaissance design, while the Small Cloister (Chiostro Piccolo) features Roman marble columns.

The Chiesa di San Costanzo (Church of Constantius) is a monumental church of Capri. Named after the patron saint of the island of Capri, San Costanzo, it was the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Capri from 987–1560.

Marina Grande is the main port of the island of Capri in Italy, to the north of the main town of Capri and at the foot of Mount Solaro.

Ospedale Giuseppe Capilupi Capri is a hospital (Italian: Ospedale) on the Via Provinciale in Anacapri, Capri, located just to the west of the comune center and about half a kilometre north of the Marina Piccola. It's the hospital of the island.

Villa Certosella is a hotel in Capri, Italy. Set along the Via Tragara, it was the home of Camille du Locle when he lived in Capri. The villa was enlarged by the illustrator Jan Styka in Italian Renaissance style. Later, Edwin Cerio requisitioned the house so that it is now part of the Ignazio Cerio estate. Cerio removed the Renaissance elements, returning the house to the casa mediterranea style. The master builder, Luigi Desiderio, worked on the property. Jacques d'Adelswärd-Fersen also resided at Villa Certosella before work on his Villa Lysis had been completed. The villa is a hotel today and features notable gardens.

Cimitero acattolico di Capri is a non-Catholic cemetery on the island of Capri. Established in 1878 by Englishman George Hayward, it contains 204 graves from a total of 21 different nations. Most of the people buried in the cemetery though are of English nationality, German, Russian or American. Aside from Protestants, also buried in the cemetery are Jews, Orthodox Christians and some Catholics. Notable interments include French Baron Jacques d'Adelsward-Fersen, Lucio Amelio, Günter Ammon, Gracie Fields, Norman Douglas and Jakob Johann von Uexküll. After the Second World War, the cemetery saw a period of great neglect, which ended in 1986 when the municipality of Capri ensured the preservation and restoration of the cemetery graves.

Chiesa di Sant'Andrea is a church in the island of Capri, Italy, near the Marina Piccola in the south. It was built in 1900 for the local fishermen. The site which the church lies on formerly contained a watch tower which was used as a lookout post for invading Saracen pirates. The church was designed by the painter Riccardo Fainardi, and funded by German banker Hugo Andreae and his wife, Emma. Capri.net says of the interior, "The pronaos of the Church is supported by two columns. The central apse stands in the very same position once occupied by the old watchtower. The central altar is embellished by a triptych representing the crucifixion of Saint Andrew. In one of the lateral passes, there is an altar dedicated to the Madonna of Pompei and a spiral staircase leading up to the organ." Andreae together with the businessman Moritz von Bernus, also founded the German Evangelical Church on the island in the year 1899, Capri being a popular holiday destination for Germans and also having a sizeable German population.

Capri ( KAH-pree, also kə-PREE, KAP-ree; Italian: [ˈkaːpri]) is an island located in the Tyrrhenian Sea off the Sorrento Peninsula, on the south side of the Gulf of Naples in the Campania region of Italy. A resort destination since the time of the Roman Republic, it is known for its natural beauty, historic sites, and tourism industry. The island is characterized by its rugged limestone landscape, sea stacks (Faraglioni), coastal grottoes including the renowned Blue Grotto, and high cliffs overlooking the sea. Notable features include the harbours of Marina Grande and Marina Piccola, the panoramic Belvedere of Tragara, the ruins of Roman imperial villas such as Villa Jovis, and the towns of Capri and Anacapri, the latter situated higher up the slopes of Monte Solaro, the island's highest point. Administratively, Capri is part of the Metropolitan City of Naples within the Campania region. The island is divided into two municipalities (comuni): Capri and Anacapri.
