The Rollins House is a historic home in Tallahassee, Florida. It is located at 5456 Rollins Pointe. On December 31, 2001, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Casa de Laga Plantation was a forced-labor farm of 1,228 acres (497 ha) located in west central Leon County, Florida, United States established by George Alexander Croom. It was also known as the Ball and McCabe Place and later as Shidzuoka. In 1860, 70 enslaved people worked the land, which was primarily devoted to producing cotton as a cash crop.

Luna Plantation was a quail hunting plantation located in northeastern Leon County, Florida, United States established by Lloyd C. Griscom. Lloyd C. Griscom was the son of Clement A. Griscom from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Clement was a shipping magnate, President of the Red Star Line and American Line. Almost four years after the death of Clement A. Griscom, on October 19, 1916 Horseshoe Plantation was divided up and part sold. Lloyd C. Griscom, Clement's son received 4,000 acres (1,600 ha) on the west side naming it Luna Plantation while his sister Frances C. Griscom, a sportswoman, received 7,000 acres (2,800 ha) of the old plantation to the east and named it Water Oak Plantation. Frances Griscom won the 1900 United States Women's Amateur Golf Championship.

Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park is an open natural park located in northern Tallahassee, Florida, United States and operated by the City Of Tallahassee. The property is owned by Northwest Florida Water Management District.

Lake Jackson Mounds Archaeological State Park (8LE1) is one of the most important archaeological sites in Florida, the capital of chiefdom and ceremonial center of the Fort Walton Culture inhabited from 1050–1500. The complex originally included seven earthwork mounds, a public plaza and numerous individual village residences. One of several major mound sites in the Florida Panhandle, the park is located in northern Tallahassee, on the south shore of Lake Jackson. The complex has been managed as a Florida State Park since 1966. On May 6, 1971, the site was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places as reference number 71000241.

The Lewis House, also known as Lewis Spring House, is a historic home in Tallahassee, Florida, located north of I-10, at 3117 Okeeheepkee Road. It was built in 1954. On February 14, 1979, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It was designed by Frank Lloyd Wright for George Lewis II, President of the Lewis State Bank, and his wife Clifton. George Lewis gave the name "Spring House" to the home "for the natural spring and small stream that flows from the property." The National Trust for Historic Preservation describes its significance: "The novel hemicycle form of Spring House represents a late, and little-known, stage in Wright’s long, prolific career. Although there are approximately 400 intact houses attributed to Wright throughout the country, only a fraction were from his hemicycle series."Spring House Institute was formed to protect the house in 1996 but the first work project was not started until January 2013. The Institute is raising funds to acquire, restore, complete, maintain and manage the house as a learning institute, as the original owners, George Lewis II and his wife, Clifton Van Brunt Lewis dreamed their home would one day become. On April 18, 2012, the AIA's Florida Chapter placed the house on its list of Florida Architecture: 100 Years. 100 Places.In 2014, the National Trust for Historic Preservation included the house on its annual list of "America's Eleven Most Endangered Places." Spring House Institute is trying to save it.

Ayavalla Plantation was a quail hunting plantation located in northwest Leon County, Florida, established by John Henry Howard Phipps, son of John Shaffer Phipps of the prominent Phipps family. Ayavalla was the Indian word used by Ellen Call Long for Lake Jackson. Long was the previous resident of nearby Orchard Pond Plantation and daughter of Governor Richard Keith Call. Upon John Shaffer Phipps' death in 1958, Orchard Pond Plantation and 1,200 acres (490 ha) were passed on to grandson Colin Phipps, and grandson John E. Phipps was given 2,100 acres (8.5 km2) on Ox Bottom Road.Adjacent plantations: Luna Plantation to the north Meridian Plantation to the eastAyavalla and the neighboring property of Elinor Klapp-Phipps Park host part of the Red Hills Horse Trials.

The Fred George Basin Greenway is a Greenway park project in northwestern Tallahassee, Florida, covering 175 acres (71 ha), including Fred George Sink that runs alongside Fred George Road near Capital Circle. Under development as a public park, it is planned to have hiking trails and other low-impact recreation opportunities. On 28 December 2015, the Tallahassee Democrat reported that the park would open on 17 February 2016.

The Blackwood-Harwood Plantations Cemetery is a historic cemetery in Tallahassee, Florida, United States. It is located northeast of the junction of State Road 263 and I-10. On October 6, 1999, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Its studios are located on the west side of Tallahassee and its transmitter is based due north of downtown along I-10. According to AllAccess.com, WBZE is the third-highest-rated station in the market, following only sister stations WHBX and WWLD.
