Sapporo Maruyama Zoo

Sapporo Maruyama Baseball Stadium (札幌市円山球場), is a baseball stadium in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. The stadium holds 25,000 people, was built in 1934 and is currently used for high-school and amateur baseball games. It is located at the Maruyama Sports complex, next to the Sapporo Maruyama Athletics Stadium, going uphill within the Maruyama Park.

Maruyama Park (円山公園, Maruyama Kōen) is a park in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The park was modeled after the park with the same name sited in Kyoto. The park is home of a number of attractions such as, the Hokkaidō Shrine, the Maruyama Zoo, the Maruyama Baseball Stadium and the Maruyama Athletics Stadium.

The Hokkaidō Shrine (北海道神宮, Hokkaidō Jingū), named the Sapporo Shrine (札幌神社, Sapporo Jinja) until 1964, is a Shinto shrine located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. Sited in Maruyama Park, Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, the Hokkaido Shrine enshrines four kami including the soul of the Emperor Meiji. A number of early explorers of Hokkaidō such as Mamiya Rinzō are also enshrined.

The Hongō Shin Memorial Museum of Sculpture, Sapporo (本郷新記念札幌彫刻美術館, Hongō Shin Kinen Sapporo Chōkoku Bijutsukan) opened in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan in 1981. In 1979, Sapporo-born sculptor Hongō Shin (本郷新) (1905–1980), donated to the city his studio and gallery, now converted into the Hongō Shin Memorial House, and many of his works. The following year, construction of a new museum began on land purchased adjacent to the Memorial House. The collection includes some 1,800 sculptures, paintings, drawings, prints, and calligraphic works by Hongō Shin, as well as books, tools, and personal items relating to him, and those of other artists collected by him.

Maruyama-Kōen Station (円山公園駅, Maruyama-kōen-eki) is a Sapporo Municipal Subway station in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan. The station is numbered T06. The station takes its name from the Maruyama Park, located 300 m west of the station.

Asahiyama Memorial Park (旭山記念公園, Asahiyama Kinen Kōen) is a park located in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. The park's peak, at 137.5 metres (451 ft) above sea level, offers a great panoramic view of Sapporo, and the Sea of Japan beyond.

The Miyanomori Ski Jump Stadium (宮の森ジャンプ競技場, Miyanomori Janpu Kyōgijō), also known as the Miyanomori-Schanze is a ski jumping venue located in the Miyanomori area in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. The stadium has hosted a number of winter sports events including 1972 Winter Olympics and FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007.

The Sapporo Independent Christian Church (Japanese: 札幌独立キリスト教会, Hepburn: Sapporo Dokuritsu Kirisuto Kyōkai, or Sapporo Christian Church) is a church located in Sapporo, Japan. It was founded in 1881 by students of William S. Clark at the Sapporo Agricultural College. These students became known as the "Sapporo band" of Christians. Although Clark had returned to the United States by the time the church was founded, he supported it financially and corresponded with its members through letters. Members of the church include Uchimura Kanzō, who went on to found the non-church movement, and Nitobe Inazō, who became president of the Tokyo Women's Christian College, an under-secretary at the League of Nations, and was the author of Bushido: The Soul of Japan.

The Ōkurayama Ski Jump Stadium (大倉山ジャンプ競技場, Ōkurayama Janpu Kyōgijō), also known as the Ōkurayama-Schanze (大倉山シャンツェ, Ōkurayama Shantse) is a ski jumping venue located in the Miyanomori area in Chūō-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Owned mostly by Sapporo City, the ski jump is on the eastern slope of the Mt. Okura. The stadium has hosted a number of winter sports events including 1972 Winter Olympics and FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2007. The area of stadium consists of the Winter Sports Museum, the Ōkurayama Crystal House, and the Mt. Okura Observation Platform, as well as the ski jump. The stadium has area of 8.2 ha which houses 50,000 people at a maximum during a competition, and the ski jump is categorized as the large hill jump. The total height of the jump hill from the top starting point to the bottom of the slope is 133 metres, also the distance to the K-spot (critical point) is 120 metres.
