Middishade Clothing Factory

The Alexander (originally 1601 Vine Street) is a mixed-use high-rise in Philadelphia. The building is adjacent to the Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple, which was designed by Perkins+Will. This project consists of one tower, as well as a Mormon meetinghouse next to the building, which will be clad in red brick.

The Harrington Machine Shop is a historic industrial building located in the Franklintown area of Philadelphia. It is located next to the former Middishade Clothing Factory. Built in 1903, it is a five-story building with a steel and wood frame, faced with brick and ashlar stone. It measures 215 feet by 100 feet. The company made hoists. The Harrington Machine Shop was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1983. The interior has been converted into loft apartments.

Freedom is a bronze public sculpture in the form of a large slab and a freestanding statue by American sculptor Zenos Frudakis, installed in 2000 outside the offices of GlaxoSmithKline in central Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The sculpture invites viewers to pose for a photograph in an empty cavity.

The Philadelphia Pennsylvania Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia. Completed in 2016, the intent to construct the temple was announced on October 4, 2008, during the church's 178th Semiannual General Conference by LDS Church president Thomas S. Monson. The temple is the church's first in the state of Pennsylvania, and the first temple between Washington, D.C. and New York City.

The Community College of Philadelphia (CCP) is a public community college with campuses throughout Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The college was founded in 1965 and is accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It offers over 100 associate degree and certificate programs through its four locations.CCP's athletic teams compete in the Eastern Pennsylvania Athletic Conference (EPAC) of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). They are collectively known as the Lions and have more than 50 championships as current members of the EPAC and members of the former Pennsylvania Collegiate Athletic Association.

The School District of Philadelphia (SDP) is the school district that includes all school district-operated public schools in Philadelphia. Established in 1818, it is the 8th largest school district in the nation, by enrollment, serving over 200,000 students.The school board was created in 1850 to oversee the schools of Philadelphia. The Act of Assembly of April 5, 1867, designated that the Controllers of the Public Schools of Philadelphia were to be appointed by the judges of the Court of Common Pleas. There was one Controller to be appointed from each ward. This was done to eliminate politics from the management of the schools.Eventually, the management of the school district was given to a school board appointed by the mayor. This continued until 2001 when the district was taken over by the state, and the governor was given the power to appoint a majority of the five members of the new School Reform Commission. In July 2018, the School Reform Commission (SRC) was disbanded and control of the district was returned to the city and its newly selected Philadelphia School Board.

The Church of Saint Anne (commonly known as St. Anne Church, or Saint Anne's) is an Irish Roman Catholic Parish in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. The church was founded in 1845. The church serves the communities of Fishtown, Port Richmond, and Kensington. The school, which was founded in 1854, had about 1,000 students in the 1970s. It was closed in June 2011, due to falling enrollment. NHS Human Services School at St. Annes, which caters to children with autism, opened in its place in 2015.

The Inquirer Building, formerly called the Elverson Building, is an eighteen-story building at the intersection of North Broad and Callowhill Streets in the Logan Square neighborhood of Philadelphia, completed in 1924 as the new home for the newspaper The Philadelphia Inquirer, which was joined by the Philadelphia Daily News in 1957. The original name refers to James Elverson, the publisher of the Inquirer from 1889 until his death in 1911. His son, "Colonel" James Elverson Jr., took over as publisher, and had the building constructed and dedicated to his father. The building is the new headquarters of the Philadelphia Police Department, the 6th and 9th Police Districts, and the Medical Examiner's Office.

Philadelphia Lodge No. 2 BPOE, also known as the Philadelphia Athletic Club, was a historic Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE) lodge occupying 306-320 N. Broad Street in the Logan Square neighborhood of Center City Philadelphia. The lodge, built between 1922 and 1925, was a 13-story building. The BPOE moved into the new lodge from the 4-story building at 1320–1322 Arch Street, built in 1904–1906 and designed by Francis Caldwell and Edward Simon, that still stands.The Elks occupied the bottom five floors, with residential/hotel accommodations in the higher eight floors. The lower floors included meeting rooms, restaurants, ballrooms, and auditoria. The entrance featured a two-storey portal framed in limestone and capped by a giant keystone.Although being added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the building was purchased by Hahnemann University for $2.35 million in 1991 and was demolished the following year.

The Drexel University Dornsife School of Public Health is a part of the Drexel University Health Sciences network of schools. The Dornsife School of Public Health was located in downtown Philadelphia from its inception until December 2013. It has since re-located to the University City Campus. The Dornsife School of Public Health was founded in 1996, with Jonathan Mann as its first dean. In 2000, the School came under the operational management of Drexel University and in 2002 fully joined the University's Health Sciences network, where it was physically located until early 2014 within the Center City Hahnemann Campus, alongside the Drexel University College of Medicine and the Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions. In mid-January 2014, the school moved into the renovated Nesbitt Hall building, located in the University City Campus. The building used to house the Antoinette Westphal College of Media Arts and Design. In September 2015, the School received a $45 million gift from longtime philanthropists Dana and David Dornsife, in recognition of which the School was named after the donors.

Wills Eye Hospital is a non-profit eye clinic and hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was established in 1832 and is the oldest continually operating eye-care facility in the United States. It is the ophthalmology residency program for Thomas Jefferson University. Since 1990, Wills Eye Hospital has consistently been ranked one of the top three ophthalmology hospitals in the United States by U.S. News & World Report and its ophthalmology residency program is considered one of the most competitive residency programs in the world.

The Packard Motor Car Company Building, also known as the Press Building, is a historic office building located at 317–321 N. Broad Street between Pearl and Wood Streets in the Callowhill neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The structure was built in 1910–11 and was designed by Albert Kahn of the noted Detroit architectural firm of Kahn & Wilby. It is a nine-story, steel framed, reinforced concrete building – one of the first uses of that material in a commercial building. Clad in terra cotta and featuring an ornamented canopy and a prominent overhanging roof, the building housed a showroom and new car inventory space for the Packard Motor Car Company. The showroom was remodeled in 1927 by Philip Tyre. In November 1928, the building became the headquarters of the Philadelphia Record newspaper, which it remained until the Record folded in a 1947 strike. The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is a contributing property to the Callowhill Industrial Historic District. The building was renovated into apartments in 1986 by Bower Lewis Thrower and John Milner Associates.
