The Chimneys (Fredericksburg, Virginia)

The Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site) is a historic Baptist church at 810 Sophia Street in downtown Fredericksburg, Virginia. The church is a two-story brick building with predominantly Classical Revival styling, modeled to some degree after the Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg, with later alterations. The church was built in 1890 for a predominantly African-American congregation, whose origins lie in a mixed-race Baptist congregation founded in 1804. That congregation split about 1815, worshipping in a building at this site, and became known as the Shiloh Baptist Church with the construction of a new building here in the 1830s. In 1849 the large congregation again divided, with most of its white members leaving to form the Fredericksburg Baptist Church at Princess Anne and Amelia Streets. Services were discontinued during the American Civil War, and the existing building was damaged, in part due to abuse caused during military occupation of the city. It collapsed in 1886, and the present building was constructed in 1890 as its replacement. However, due to a schism in the congregation, two separate groups claimed the name "Shiloh Baptist", which was resolved by giving the one at this location the name "Shiloh Baptist Church (Old Site)", which it still retains.The church was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2015.

Fredericksburg station is a passenger rail station in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It is served by Amtrak's Carolinian, Northeast Regional, and Silver Meteor trains, and the Virginia Railway Express's Fredericksburg Line. (Amtrak's Silver Star, Palmetto, and Auto Train services pass through the station without stopping.) It is located on Lafayette Boulevard (U.S. Route 1 Business). The station has two side platforms serving the two tracks of the RF&P Subdivision.

Presbyterian Church of Fredericksburg is a historic Presbyterian church located southwest of Princess Anne and George Streets in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was built in 1833, and restored in 1866 after being badly damaged during the American Civil War. It is a rectangular brick church building of Jeffersonian Roman Revival design. The church has a triangular, gable-end pediment surmounting a wide entablature which surrounds the entire building. The front facade features four wide, wooden Doric order pilaster, and two round Doric order columns each set at the front edge of the recessed portico. During the American Civil War the church served both Union and Confederate soldiers and it was in this building that Clara Barton came to nurse the wounded after the Battle of Fredericksburg in 1862.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984.

St. George's Episcopal Church is a church in Fredericksburg, Virginia at 905 Princess Anne Street. The church, built in the 18th century and re-built in 1815 and 1849, is a part of the Episcopal Diocese of Virginia. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2019.

Fredericksburg Town Hall and Market Square, also known as the Fredericksburg Area Museum, is a historic town hall and public market space located in Fredericksburg, Virginia.

Farmers Bank of Fredericksburg, also known as The National Bank of Fredericksburg, is a historic bank building located at Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was built in 1819–20, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, rectangular red-brick building in the Federal style. It features a slate-covered front gable roof with a lunette window in the front pediment, wide cornice, three pairs of brick chimneys, and engaged pedestal columns with full entablature on the front facade. The front portion of the main floor had been used as a banking house since its construction, while the rooms at the rear and those on the second floor housed the bank's cashiers and their families from 1820 to 1920. In 2016, after completing renovations to the inside of the building, the building was converted into a restaurant while keeping the existing bank vault as a private dining area.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983.

The James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library is a historic museum at 908 Charles Street in Fredericksburg, Virginia. It is located on the site of the James Monroe Law Office, used by future United States President James Monroe from 1786 to 1789. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1966. It is now owned by the Commonwealth of Virginia and operated by the University of Mary Washington. The museum features original objects and memorabilia related to James Monroe, and includes items relating to other members of his family, including dresses worn by First Lady Elizabeth Monroe.

Federal Hill is a historic home located at Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was built about 1794, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, brick and frame dwelling sheathed in weatherboard, with a two-story frame wing. It has a gable roof with dormers. The front facade has a central pedimented pavilion and recessed fanlight door. The large ballroom and elaborate dining room are distinctive for their mixing of late colonial and Federal detailing. Federal Hill was probably built by Robert Brooke (1761–1800), governor of Virginia from 1794 to 1796.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.

The Slave Auction Block in Fredericksburg, Virginia is a large stone that was used as an auction block in historical slave auctions. It was located on the corner of William Street and Charles Street, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as part of the Fredericksburg Historic District. After almost a century of debate as to whether or not it should be removed as a symbol of racial oppression, it was voted by City Council to be moved on June 11, 2019, one year before the protests triggered by the murder of George Floyd. The city council had been planning the block's removal since 2017, with a court victory by the council in February 2020 having cleared the last remaining legal obstacles to moving it. The auction block was removed from its site on June 5, 2020, and is displayed at the Fredericksburg Area Museum.

Sentry Box is a historic home located at Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was built in 1786, and is a large two-story, five-bay, Georgian style frame dwelling with Colonial Revival and Greek Revival-style details. It has a central-passage plan and side gable roof. Also on the property is a contributing icehouse.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. It is located in the Fredericksburg Historic District.

The Lewis Store, also known as the Fielding Lewis Store, is a historic commercial building located at Fredericksburg, Virginia. It was built in 1749, and is a two-story, front-gable, three-bay Georgian style brick store. The second story addition was built in 1808. The building was rehabilitated between 2000 and 2006. The first story consists of a "sales room" on the front and a "counting room" on the rear. The building functioned as a store until 1823, after which it was used as a residence. It was built by John Lewis and operated by him and his son, Fielding Lewis, who was married to George Washington's sister Betty Washington Lewis. Fielding and Betty Lewis built the nearby Kenmore. The Lewis family sold the store in 1776.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2013. It is located in the Fredericksburg Historic District.
