Delaware Park–Front Park System

Elmwood Historic District–West is a national historic district located at Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The district encompasses 1,971 contributing buildings, 4 contributing structures, and 13 contributing objects in the Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo. It is built around the Buffalo Parks and Parkways system bounded on the north by Delaware Park, Forest Lawn Cemetery, and the former Buffalo State Asylum, on the south by the Allentown Historic District, and on the east by the Elmwood Historic District–East. This predominantly residential district developed between about 1867 and 1941, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Shingle Style, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and American Craftsman style architecture. The district contains one of the most intact collections of built resources from turn of the 20th century in the city of Buffalo and western New York State. Located in the district are six previously listed contributing resources including the Richmond Avenue Methodist-Episcopal Church and the Buffalo Tennis and Squash Club. Other notable building include the H.C. Gerber House (1908), the Fred Dullard House (1910), the William H. Scott House (1904), St. John's-Grace Episcopal Church designed by Bertram Grosvenor Goodhue (1925–26), Davidson House (1885), former Jehle Grocery Store and Residence (c. 1886, 1899), St. Luke's Episcopal Church (now Symphony Bible Church, 1886, 1893), Temple Beth El (now Greater Emmanuel Temple Church, Inc., 1910-1911), Richmond Avenue Church of Christ (now Bryant Parish Condominiums (c. 1885-1887), and Pilgrim-St. Luke's United Church of Christ (1911).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church is a historic Presbyterian church complex located at 875 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo in Erie County, New York. The complex consists of the large cruciform-plan church building that was built in 1894 with an attached rear chapel. Adjoining them is the Community House that constructed of brick in the Tudor Revival style, that was built in 1921. The main church building is constructed of Medina sandstone with a terra cotta tile roof in the Romanesque Revival style. It features a 120-foot-tall (37 m), square bell tower with a pyramidal roof. The church cost $150,000 to build and has a capacity of 1,000 people

Lafayette International Community High School is a high school located in the West Side of Buffalo, New York. It serves students in Grades 9 through 12. The current principal is John Starkey.

Richmond Avenue Methodist-Episcopal Church, also known as Richmond Avenue United Methodist Church, is a historic Methodist Episcopal Church located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It consists of two structures: a rectilinear Chapel structure, which dates to 1885–1891, and a larger Temple structure dating to 1887–1898. Both structures are two and a half stories set on a raised basement story, with two three-story towers. They are built of ashlar Medina sandstone. It is now home to the Upper West Side Arts Center.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008. It is located in the Elmwood Historic District–West.

Elmwood Historic District–East is a national historic district located at Buffalo, Erie County, New York. The district encompasses 2,405 contributing buildings, 31 contributing structures, and 14 contributing objects in the Elmwood Village neighborhood of Buffalo. It is bounded on the north by Delaware Park, Forest Lawn Cemetery, and the former Buffalo State Asylum, on the south by the Allentown Historic District, and on the west by the Elmwood Historic District–West. This predominantly residential district developed between about 1867 and 1965, and includes notable examples of Queen Anne, Shingle Style, Colonial Revival, Tudor Revival, and American Craftsman style architecture. The district contains one of the most intact collections of built resources from turn of the 20th century in the city of Buffalo and western New York State. Located in the district are 17 previously listed contributing resources including the Buffalo Seminary, Garret Club, James and Fanny How House, Edgar W. Howell House, Edwin M. and Emily S. Johnston House, Col. William Kelly House, Lafayette Avenue Presbyterian Church, Parke Apartments, and the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. Other notable building include the Frank Lloyd Wright designed William R. Heath House (1904-1905), Herbert H. Hewitt House (c. 1898), School 56 (1910-1911), the Harlow House (c. 1892), A. Conger Goodyear house (c. 1908), Alexander Main Curtiss House (now the Ronald McDonald House, 1895), Nardin Academy campus (c. 1914), and Coatsworth House (1897).It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2016.

The Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo is an historic church complex located at 695 Elmwood Avenue, in Buffalo, New York. The building was designed by architect Edward Austin Kent in 1906. Kent died in 1912 aboard the RMS Titanic and a memorial plaque is located in the church honoring him.The congregation is currently affiliated with the Unitarian Universalist Association. The church building was originally called the First Unitarian Church of Buffalo and was affiliated with the American Unitarian Association. In 1953, the congregation was joined by the Universalist Church of the Messiah, which was affiliated with the Universalist Church of America and began worshiping together as the Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo. Coincidentally, both congregations were organized in 1831 and the two denominations merged nationally in 1961.

Lafayette High School was a public high school in Buffalo, New York. It was the oldest public school in Buffalo that remained in its original building, a stone, brick and terra-cotta structure in the French Renaissance Revival style by architects August Esenwein and James A. Johnson. Although classes began off-site during construction of the school, the building was completed and graduated its first class in 1903. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. It is located in Buffalo's Upper West Side at 370 Lafayette Avenue. The name 'Lafayette High School' was phased out beginning in 2015, graduating its final class in 2018, and was replaced by the name Lafayette International High School and Newcomers Academy. Classes continue to be held in the historic building.

Edwin M. and Emily S. Johnston House is a historic home located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a Colonial Revival style brick dwelling designed by Bley & Lyman in 1934. It consists of a 2+1⁄2-story cross-gabled main block with a 2-story side-gabled garage wing.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is located in the Elmwood Historic District–East.

The Col. William Kelly House is a historic house located at 36 Tudor Place in Buffalo, New York, United States.

James and Fanny How House is a historic home located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It is a noted example of a Tudor Revival–style dwelling designed by local architect Harold L. Olmsted in 1924. It is composed of three sections: a 2+1⁄2-story cross-gabled front block, a 1-story gabled connecting link, and a 2-story gabled rear block with a small 1-story wing. It has a limestone ashlar and concrete foundation and painted stucco-covered exterior walls of brick and tile.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1997. It is located in the Elmwood Historic District–East.

Buffalo Seminary (SEM) is an independent, private, college preparatory day and boarding school for girls in Buffalo, New York, United States. SEM is secular and non-uniform.

Garret Club is a historic woman's clubhouse located at Buffalo in Erie County, New York. It was designed by noted Buffalo architect Edward Brodhead Green and constructed in 1929. It is a two-story, "L"-shaped building constructed of hollow tile with a stucco finish. It has a slate tile roof and is reflective of French vernacular architecture.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. It is located in the Elmwood Historic District–East. The club was founded in March 1902. Katharine Cornell joined in 1913 and was an active member, participating in theatrical productions.
