Coeur d'Alene Parkway State Park

The Veterans Memorial Centennial Bridge (formerly known as the Bennett Bay Centennial Bridge) is a freeway bridge in Idaho. The bridge carries Interstate 90 over a valley above Bennett Bay, an arm of Lake Coeur d'Alene. Construction of the bridge began in 1988 and used a balanced cantilever to build sections at an average rate of 16 feet (4.9 m) a week. It was completed in 1991 and opened the following year as part of the last major project to complete Interstate 90 east of Coeur d'Alene, at a cost of $16 million.The bridge was initially named the Bennett Bay Centennial Bridge, to commemorate the centennial of Idaho, despite a long-standing state policy against adopting official bridge names. In 1992, the bridge was renamed the Veterans Memorial Centennial Bridge, in honor of Idaho's military veterans. The bridge is a segmental concrete box girder bridge; it is 1,730 ft (530 m) long, 70 ft (21 m) wide, and carries four traffic lanes 300 ft (91 m) above the valley floor. It was designed by HNTB.

Steamchet Creek is a stream in Kootenai County, Idaho, in the United States. It flows into Lake Coeur d'Alene. Steamchet is a name derived from the Coeur d'Alene language meaning "older daughter".

Fernan Lake Village is a city in Kootenai County, Idaho, United States. The population was 169 at the 2010 census.

Kootenai County ( KOOT-nee) is located in the U.S. state of Idaho. As of the 2020 census, its population was 171,362, making it the third-most populous county in Idaho and by far the largest in North Idaho, the county accounting for 45.4% of the region's total population. The county seat and largest city is Coeur d'Alene. The county was established in 1864 and named after the Kootenai tribe. Kootenai County is coterminous with the Coeur d'Alene metropolitan area, which along with the Spokane metropolitan area comprises the Spokane–Coeur d'Alene combined statistical area.

The John P. and Stella Gray House is a historic house in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was built in 1910 for Boyd Hamilton, second mayor of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and well known local banker. Hamilton's wife was Alta Mae Browne, daughter of J.J. Browne. The original architects were Cowley & Rigg of Spokane. In 1911 Hamilton sold the house to John P. Gray, a lawyer. Gray hired the firm of Kirtland Cutter to carry out alterations to the house. Gray lived here with his wife Stella until his death in 1939. It was purchased by the Mauser family in 1953, who sold it to the Hamans within a year. As a side note, Lawrence "Larry" & Mable Haman had a son named Gary who would become first a lawyer and then a judge. He later purchased the Boyd Hamilton House on Government Way and used it for a law office. The house was designed in the Tudor Revival style by architect Kirtland Cutter. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since March 31, 1988.

St. Thomas Catholic Church is parish of the Roman Catholic Church in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Founded in 1890 to serve the Catholic miners and lumber workers relocating to the area, it remains an active congregation of the Diocese of Boise. It is noted for its historic parish church, built in 1909 by E. M. Kreig with bricks from Sandpoint, Idaho, with the arch built with sandstones from Tenino, Washington. The building was designed in the Romanesque Revival style by architects Francis P. Rooney and Lewis P. Stritesky, and the stained glass was designed by G. C. Riordan & Company. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since October 5, 1977.

The Coeur d'Alene Masonic Temple in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho is a building constructed during 1909–1911. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.The building includes terra cotta and iron ornamentation. It was designed by Coeur d'Alene architect George Williams, who was himself active in the Scottish Rite order of the Masons. It was deemed "architecturally significant as a good example of a Renaissance Revival building in Coeur d'Alene.

First United Methodist Church is a historic Methodist church at 618 Wallace Avenue in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was built in 1906 and was added to the National Register in 1979.The church was designed by Coeur d'Alene architect George Williams, and it was built mostly by volunteer labor. It has stepped gables on its two street-facing facades, which are made of white pressed brick. The building has two towers of different heights.

The Coeur d'Alene City Hall is a historic building in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was built in 1908, and designed in the Renaissance Revival style by architect George Williams. It served as the de facto courthouse until the construction of the Kootenai County Courthouse in 1926, and it later housed the offices of city officials, police officers and firefighters. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since August 3, 1979.

The Tubbs Hill Natural Area is a 165-acre (0.67 km2) public park and natural area in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The park is located on a peninsula, with Lake Coeur d'Alene bordering the park on its west, south, and east sides and McEuen Park to the north with its main entrance and trail head at 210 South 3rd Street. An additional trail head is located at the southern terminus of 10th Street. The parks main attraction is a 2.2-mile (3.5 km) Interpretive Trail that takes visitors passed scenic vantage points and natural and historical sites of interest. Other activities such as climbing, cliff jumping, kayaking, fishing, sun bathing, bird watching and flower viewing are also popular things to do in the park. Precambrian schist and gneiss generally make up the almost solid rock formation, with topsoil depth rarely exceeding 5 inches (130 mm) deep. Despite the shallow soil depth impacting the health of the fragile ecosystem of the park, plant life is abundant and there are dense understories in areas; ponderosa pine and Douglas fir are the most common trees observed in the park. Tubbs Hill is a managed forest and the park is maintained by the Tubbs Hill Foundation and the Friends of Tubbs Hill. Dogs are permitted at the park with a leash but bicycles, motor vehicles, alcohol, glass containers, smoking, campfires, and fireworks are not allowed.

The Coeur d'Alene Federal Building is a historic building built in 1927 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.It is a three-story cast stone and brick Federal building, built in Adamesque style. It has round arched openings in its first story, cast stone quoins, and a terra cotta portico. Of federal buildings in the state, it was regarded as a "fine structure, one of the most elegant in Idaho."

The Harvey M. Davey House is a historic house in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. It was built in 1908 for Harvey M. Davey, a general contractor who oversaw the construction of many buildings in the area. According to historian Nancy F. Renk, "The Davey house remains significant today because it has been changed so little over the years." It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since May 23, 1985.
