Ota is a sushi restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska. Ota is a six-seat sushi counter that opened in July 2023. It is known for a creative exploration of the concept of sushi. The restaurant is owned by David Utterback, whose mother was Japanese. He owns two other Japanese restaurants in Omaha, including Yoshitomo, which opened in 2017 and is located next door to Ota in a former Subway location, and Koji, a yakitori restaurant. In 2023 Utterback was the first chef in Nebraska to be named a finalist for a James Beard Award. In 2023, The Washington Post called Ota one of the country's best sushi restaurants.

The Country Club Historic District is located in Omaha, Nebraska from 50th to 56th Streets, from Corby to Seward Streets. Omaha Benson High School Magnet, Benson High Magnet, or Benson High, is located at 5120 Maple Street in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, in the Benson community of Omaha. The original site of Benson High was the current building that houses Benson West Elementary School. Founded in 1904, Benson High is one of the oldest high schools in the state. Its enrollment is approximately 1,500 students. As of 2018, the principal was Tom Wagner. The school mascot is the Bunny.A full renovation of the school was completed in the mid-1990s. Additions included a new science classroom wing, an auditorium for the performing arts, a gymnasium, a student commons area and a track and football field. The football field and track were redone once again during the 2006 summer.Benson is currently participating in NASA's Student Launch Initiative program.Omaha Benson High School is also one of the Omaha area schools that participates in the yearly Day of Silence event.

Creighton Preparatory School (simply referred to as Creighton Prep or Prep) is a private, Jesuit high school for boys in Omaha, Nebraska, United States. It was established in 1878 under the name Creighton College and is located in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Omaha. Creighton College was founded by John A. Creighton and named after Edward Creighton, developer of the transcontinental telegraph line. It was founded from a $100,000 grant and donated to the Catholic Church, leading to its inception as a Jesuit institution. Creighton College separated into Creighton University and Creighton Preparatory School in 1958. Over the 142 years since its founding, Creighton Prep has grown from an initial class of 120 students to a student body of 1021 individuals (2016). Creighton Prep holds a rivalry with Westside High school in Omaha, NE and is the recipient of nearly 200 individual State Championship and All State Championship titles. Creighton Prep has received the U.S. Department of Education Blue Ribbon Award for Academic Excellence and has its education programs are grounded in Jesuit Philosophies. Creighton Prep offers 20 AP courses, 23 honors courses and 24 dual enrollment classes partnering with both University of Nebraska Omaha and Creighton University, and admittance is dependent on an annually held entrance exam. Creighton Prep was used as a site for the filming of Downsizing, a 2017 American science fiction comedy-drama film directed by Alexander Payne.

Fairacres is a neighborhood and historic district in Omaha, Nebraska. It is south of Dundee and west of Midtown. It is roughly bounded by Underwood Avenue to the north, Dodge Street to the south, North 69th Street to the west, and North 62nd Street to the east. It is primarily residential, and was annexed into Omaha in 1941. It was listed the National Register of Historic Places in 2017.
