The Academy of the Holy Names in Tampa, Florida, is a Catholic, coeducational elementary school and a college preparatory high school for young women, sponsored by the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary. It is the oldest Catholic school on Florida's West Coast and the second oldest high school in the state.

Bayshore Christian School is a private Christian school in central Tampa, Florida, United States, providing education for children from pre-kindergarten to grade 12. The school was founded as a middle school in 1971 as a segregation academy when the court ordered racial integration of public schools required white middle school children to be bused to formerly black schools. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, the school reported a diversity rate of approximately 40% during the 2017–2018 school year.As of 2012, the school served 226 students, 62 of whom were at the high school level. The student-teacher ratio was 11.6.

The Roosevelt Elementary School is a historic U.S. school in Tampa, Florida. It is a part of Hillsborough County Public Schools. It is located at 3205 South Ferdinand Avenue and was constructed in 1925. On May 31, 2006, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Palma Ceia is a neighborhood located southwest of downtown Tampa, Florida in South Tampa. It is bounded by Miguel Street West of MacDill Avenue and Neptune Street East of MacDill Avenue to the north; Bay to Bay Boulevard from Dale Mabry to Himes and El Prado between Himes and the Crosstown Expressway to the south; MacDill Avenue between Neptune and San Miguel, Dale Mabry Highway between San Miguel and Bay to Bay and Himes between Bay to Bay and El Prado to the west; and the Lee Roy Selmon Expressway to the east. The street names throughout Palma Ceia are of Cuban origin, coming from streets in the old section of Havana. Historians say the most likely explanation is that Angel Cuesta, president of Cuesta-Rey cigars, shared a map of Havana with developer Thomas Palmer while discussing the area.Palma Ceia is home to the appropriately named Palma Ceia Country Club and also located adjacent to the exclusive Golfview community. The neighborhood is within the district of Henry B. Plant High School. Aesthetically it is most known for its bricked streets, akin to those in Ybor City. The neighborhood is home to the Palma Ceia Design District, centered on the intersection of MacDill Ave. and Bay to Bay Blvd. This district contains many specialty boutiques and cafes, including some of the highest rated in the city. It is a half-mile walk from Bayshore Boulevard. A sculpture by local artist Marc DeWaele was erected at the Macdill and Bay to Bay intersection to officially designate the district. Its ribbon cutting was March 17, 2010.

Datz was a restaurant and bar in South Tampa, Florida, known for its deli and gastropub offerings. It was the flagship restaurant of Datz Restaurant Group. Since its inception, the Datz Restaurant Group had expanded to include Dough, a coffee and sweets shop that opened in 2012, and a Creole concept, Roux, that opened in Fall 2014, and closed in Summer 2023. The Datz Restaurant Group is currently owned by founders Suzanne and Roger Perry, and is headquartered in Tampa, FL.

Fred Ball Park, also previously called Palma Ceia Spring Park, is a small park off Bayshore Blvd in Tampa, FL. The park has benches, a fountain, and a view of Tampa Bay. The Park is named after Fred Ball who served Tampa and Hillsborough County for 24 years in local government. Ball was also Executive Secretary of the West Coast Inland Waterway Commission. In the mid-1800s, Palma Ceia Spring was known for its healing powers, and people came to bathe in its waters. A fountain was erected on the current grounds of the park in 1906 and is supplied by the Palma Ceia Spring. What remains of the spring can be found at Fred Ball Park. In 1926 Thomas Palmer was recorded as owning Palma Ceia Springs. The City constructed a large pool in 1928. A streetcar stop was part of the Port Tampa to Ballast Point line. In 1947, Ball persuaded Hillsborough County to purchase the spring for $15,000 from the estate of Thomas Palmer. The County converted the area to a public park and enlarged the pool.After World War II, the pool fell into disuse due to pollution. The City filled the pool in 1959, pushing out a five-foot alligator.The park was renovated in 1988 by the Rose Circle Garden Club. The renovation cost $31,000 and renovated one of three springs on the site.In 2006, a proposal to install a 42 by 52 foot angel memorial on a 82 by 82 foot brick area in the small park was rejected by the City Parks Department.A small memorial to local Victoria Jane Pollyea is located at the spring in the park.

The LeClaire Apartments is a historic apartment building in Tampa, Florida, United States. It is located at 3013 through 3015 San Carlos Street. It was designed by Tampa architect Fred J. James. On November 16, 1988, it was added to the U.S. National Register of Historic Places.

Britton Plaza Shopping Center is a 522,689-square-foot (48,559.4 m2) [1] open-air shopping plaza in the Fair Oaks - Manhattan Manor neighborhood of Tampa, Florida (on the corner of Dale Mabry Highway and Euclid Avenue). The plaza was built in 1956 and includes these anchors: Publix Super Market, Bealls Outlet, Tuesday Morning, Stein Mart, Burlington Coat Factory, Marshall's, Michaels, and Big Lots, as well as a GNC, Taco Bell, and a variety of local stores including The Perfect Gift which opened in 2011. The plaza also has an eight-screen theater, operated by Five Star Cinemas, which reopened in August 2009.[2]. The theater was previously operated by Regal Entertainment in the mid-1990s and later Zota Theatres during the early and mid-2000s. Additionally, Fashion Bug closed its Britton Plaza store in March 2009, and China Garden Super Buffet closed its doors in June to prepare for an expansion. It reopened as the Tampa Buffet on November 29, 2009 and includes expanded dining facilities and buffet selection. In February 2011, Walgreens moved across the street; (Pet Supermarket will occupy the former space during the first quarter of 2012), and in April 2011, Plato's Closet opened in the old Fashion Bug storefront (the other half of the former Fashion Bug storefront has been occupied by Five Dollar Fashions since 2009).

H.B. Plant High School is a public high school located in the neighborhood of South Tampa in Tampa, Florida, United States. It opened in 1927 between South Himes Avenue on the east and Dale Mabry Highway on the west. The school is named in honor of railroad and hotel tycoon Henry B. Plant, who connected Tampa to the United States railroad system in 1884, helping the isolated village to grow into a large city over the following decades. The school mascot is the Panther, and its motto is "Strength Through Unity." Plant High School has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students.
