Schramm Park State Recreation Area is a state recreation area in southeast Nebraska, United States, on the north side of the Platte River in Sarpy County. The area currently has 3 miles (4.8 km) of scenic nature trails, picnic areas, the Schramm Education Center and the Gretna State Fish Hatchery, the oldest fish hatchery in the State of Nebraska, established in 1882. The hatch house is now operated as a fish hatchery museum. The Schramm Education Center features multiple viewing tanks with a variety of fish species. The facility also features multiple terrariums featuring reptiles, amphibians, and insects. The 331 acres (134 ha) park is a day use park only, but overnight camping is available 5 miles (8.0 km) east at Louisville State Recreation Area, on the south bank of the Platte River. Schramm is accessible from Interstate 80, exit 432. It is on Nebraska Highway 31 9 miles (14 km) south of Gretna, Nebraska.

It is owned by Mitts Telecasting Company LLC, which maintains a local marketing agreement (LMA) with the Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of dual Fox/CW affiliate KPTM (channel 42), for the provision of certain services. Both stations share studios on Farnam Street in Omaha, while KXVO's transmitter is located on Pflug Road, south of Gretna and I-80.

KPTM (channel 42) is a television station in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, affiliated with Fox and The CW. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which provides certain services to TBD outlet KXVO (channel 15) under a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Mitts Telecasting Company. Both stations share studios on Farnam Street in Omaha, while KPTM's transmitter is located on Pflug Road, south of Gretna and I-80. KPTM went on air as Omaha's first independent station in 1986. It was built by and named for California-based Pappas Telecasting. KPTM affiliated with Fox in 1988, after Pappas originally sat out the network's launch, and began airing local newscasts in June 1990. After the bankruptcy of Pappas, Titan Broadcast Management acquired the station in 2009, selling most of its broadcasting properties to Sinclair in 2013. While KPTM aired a 9 p.m. newscast for more than 30 years, a major attempt at expansion in the late 1990s was rolled back for economic reasons less than 18 months later, and for the last decade, the news programs were presented by talent outside the Omaha market.

The Mynard Road Bridge, now located near Ashland, Nebraska, is a historic Warren truss leg bedstead bridge that was built in 1900. It was probably built by J.R. Sheeley and Company, of Lincoln, Nebraska and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. The 50-foot (15 m) Mynard Road Bridge was the longest of its engineering type remaining in the state of Nebraska when the historic inventory was done in 1992, and was still used for vehicular traffic at that time. The bridge was originally situated on the Maynard Road and was built to span an unnamed stream, 4.7 mi (7.6 km) southeast of Louisville, Nebraska. In 2000, the bridge was relocated to be used as a pedestrian bridge at the Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari.
