Schramm Park State Recreation Area

Platte River State Park is a public recreation area encompassing 453 acres (183 ha) on the southern bluffs of the Platte River two miles (3.2 km) west of Louisville, Nebraska. The state park has a relatively steep, rolling topography compared to the surrounding region, with much of it forested.

The Lee G. Simmons Conservation Park and Wildlife Safari is a 440 acre drive-through park located near the town of Ashland, Nebraska, United States. The Park includes scenic prairies and wetlands that feature dozens of native North American animals including bison, elk, cranes and new Wolf Canyon overlook along with tram rides and a visitor center. The park is affiliated with Henry Doorly Zoo, and is located 22 miles west at Nebraska's I-80 exit 426.

It is owned by Mitts Telecasting Company LLC, which maintains a local marketing agreement (LMA) with the Sinclair Broadcast Group, owner of dual Fox/CW affiliate KPTM (channel 42), for the provision of certain services. Both stations share studios on Farnam Street in Omaha, while KXVO's transmitter is located on Pflug Road, south of Gretna and I-80.

KPTM (channel 42) is a television station in Omaha, Nebraska, United States, affiliated with Fox and The CW. It is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, which provides certain services to TBD outlet KXVO (channel 15) under a local marketing agreement (LMA) with Mitts Telecasting Company. Both stations share studios on Farnam Street in Omaha, while KPTM's transmitter is located on Pflug Road, south of Gretna and I-80. KPTM went on air as Omaha's first independent station in 1986. It was built by and named for California-based Pappas Telecasting. KPTM affiliated with Fox in 1988, after Pappas originally sat out the network's launch, and began airing local newscasts in June 1990. After the bankruptcy of Pappas, Titan Broadcast Management acquired the station in 2009, selling most of its broadcasting properties to Sinclair in 2013. While KPTM aired a 9 p.m. newscast for more than 30 years, a major attempt at expansion in the late 1990s was rolled back for economic reasons less than 18 months later, and for the last decade, the news programs were presented by talent outside the Omaha market.

The Holy Family Shrine is a Roman Catholic shrine located along Interstate 80 outside of Omaha, Nebraska, near the town of Gretna.

Salt Creek (Pawnee: Káʾit Kiicuʾ) is a tributary of the Platte River, located in Saunders, Cass, and Lancaster counties in southeast Nebraska. It is approximately 44.38 miles (71.42 km) in length. Salt Creek begins in southern Lancaster county and flows north to connect to the Platte River at Mahoney State Park in Ashland.

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is a public recreation area located on the Platte River, off Interstate 80, approximately four miles (6.4 km) east of Ashland, Nebraska. The state park features lodging and conferencing facilities, an aquatic center, marina, multi-purpose trails, the Kountze Memorial Theater, multiple facilities for event rentals, and a 70-foot (21 m) observation tower overlooking the Platte River Valley.

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force during the Cold War. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, along Interstate 80 southwest of Omaha. The objective of the museum is to preserve and display historic aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles, and provide educational resources.

Linoma Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States, comprising the Linoma Beach historic district and adjacent land to the east. The community is in the southwest part of the county, on the east bank of the Platte River. It is bordered to the north, across [[{U.S. Route 6 in Nebraska|U.S. Route 6]] (US 6), by the CDP of Beacon View. US 6 leads northeast 7 miles (11 km) to Gretna and southwest 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to Nebraska. Omaha is 28 miles (45 km) to the northeast. The community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Its anchor stores are Tory Burch, Kate Spade New York, Polo Ralph Lauren, Nike, Under Armour, Coach, Michael Kors, UNTUCKit, Tecovas, and Vineyard Vines.

Melia is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States.Melia was named in honor of an early settler. It was a station on the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad.

Linoma Beach, now doing business under the name Linoma Lighthouse, is a privately owned recreation area developed around an artificial lake in Sarpy County in the eastern part of the state of Nebraska, in the Midwestern United States. The site was opened in 1924; in 1939, a 100-foot (30 m) lighthouse was added to it. The lighthouse is a conspicuous landmark on U.S. Highway 6 between Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska. Linoma Beach is listed in the National Register of Historic Places, as a well-preserved example of a once-common but now vanishing type of roadside architecture. The community is listed by the U.S. Census Bureau, for statistical purposes, as the Linoma Beach census-designated place.
