Nematabad-e Ghar

Rashidabad (Persian: رشيداباد, also Romanized as Rashīdābād) is a village in Aftab Rural District, Aftab District, Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 60, in 14 families.

The mausoleum of Ruhollah Khomeini (Persian: آرامگاه روح‌الله خمینی) houses the tombs of Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini, his wife Khadijeh Saqafi, and his second son Ahmad Khomeini; and some political figures, such as former President Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, former Vice President Hassan Habibi, Lieutenant General Ali Sayad Shirazi, Iranian Revolution figure Sadeq Tabatabaei, and MP Marzieh Hadidchi. The mausoleum is located to the south of Tehran in the Behesht-e Zahra (Paradise of Zahra) cemetery. Construction commenced in 1989 following Khomeini's death on June 3 of that year. It is still under construction, but when completed will be the centerpiece in a complex spread over 20 square kilometres (4,900 acres), housing a cultural and tourist center, a university for Islamic studies, a seminary, a shopping mall, and a 20,000-car parking lot. The Iranian government has reportedly devoted 2 billion US dollars to this development.The site is a place of pilgrimage for followers of Khomeini. It is used symbolically by government figures, and is on occasion visited by foreign dignitaries. Every year, Khomeini's death anniversary is marked on 4 June at the mausoleum in a ceremony that is attended by governmental officials, foreign ambassadors, and others. Khomeini's grandson Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Khomeini is in charge of caring for the mausoleum.

Haram-e Motahhar-e Emam Khomeini Metro station, formerly simply called Haram-e Motahhar Metro Station, is a station of Tehran Metro Line 1. The next station is Shahed - Bagher Shahr on the north side and Kahrizak on the south side. It is located east of Mausoleum of Khomeini.

Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is between Haram-e Motahhar Metro Station and Palayeshgah Metro Station. It is located north of Behesht-e Zahra beside Northern Behesht-e Zahra Expressway. The station was formerly called Shahed, but the name was changed, along with the name of Palayeshgah Metro Station, formerly known simply as Baghershahr on 26 August 2017. The reason was that this station, even though not named after the town Baqershahr, is only 0.8 km (0.50 mi) away from the city limit, whereas the other station is 3.3 km (2.1 mi) away from town limit, but only 1 km (0.62 mi) away from Tehran Refinery, after which it is now named.

Shahr-e Aftab Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located in Aftab Rural District, near Behesht-e Zahra. The station serves Shahr-e Aftab Expo and Shahed University. The next station is on one end Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station, towards Tehran city centre, and the other end Shahr-e Forudgahi-e Imam Khomeini Metro Station.

Beheshti (Persian: بهشتي, also Romanized as Beheshtī; also known as Behesht-e Zahrā) is a village in Azimiyeh Rural District, in the Central District of Ray County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 8,569, in 2,262 families. Behesht-e Zahra cemetery is located nearby.

Aftab Rural District (Persian: دهستان آفتاب) is in Aftab District of Tehran County, Tehran province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Aftab.At the National Census of 2006, its population was 14,847 in 3,520 households. There were 15,117 inhabitants in 4,148 households at the following census of 2011. At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 12,626 in 3,727 households. The largest of its nine villages was Shahrak-e Resalat, with 8,625 people.

Jafarabad-e Baqeraf (Persian: جعفرابادباقراف, also Romanized as Ja‘farābād-e Bāqerāf; also known as Ja‘farābād-e Bāqerāt) is a village in Aftab Rural District, Aftab District, Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 518, in 109 families.

Qaleh Now-e Hajji Musa (Persian: قلعه نو حاجی موسی, also Romanized as Qal‘eh Now-e Ḩājjī Mūsá, Qal‘eh Now-e Ḩājj Mūsá, Qal‘eh Now-e Ḩāj Mūsá, Qal‘eh Now-ye Ḩaj Mūsá, and Qal‘eh Now-ye Ḩa Mūsá) is a village in Aftab Rural District, Aftab District, Tehran County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 903, in 209 families.

Palyeshgah Metro Station is a station in Tehran Metro Line 1. It is located near Tehran Refinary, a town near Shahr-e-Rey on the southern outskirts of Tehran. It is Between Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station and Shahr-e-Rey Metro Station. The station was formerly called Bagher Shahr, but the name was changed, along with the name of Shahed - Bagher Shahr Metro Station, formerly known simply as Shahed on 26 August 2017. The reason was that this station, even-though named after the town Baqershahr, it is 3.3 km (2.1 mi) away from town limit, but only 1 km (0.62 mi) away from Tehran Refinery, after which it is now named. Whereas the other station is only 0.8 km (0.50 mi) away from the city limit, even though it wasn't named after it.

Aftab (Persian: آفتاب, also Romanized as Āftāb) is a village in, and the capital of, Aftab Rural District of Aftab District of Tehran County, Tehran province, Iran, and also serves as capital of the district.At the 2006 National Census, its population was 116 in 28 households. The following census in 2011 counted 112 people in 27 households. The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 114 people in 31 households.

Khurain (Persian: خورايين, also Romanized as Khūrā’īn and Khowrā‘īn; also known as Khvor'īn and Qal‘eh Khvor’īn) is a village in Kahrizak Rural District, Kahrizak District, Ray County, Tehran Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 26, in 5 families.
