Linoma Beach

Linoma Beach is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States, comprising the Linoma Beach historic district and adjacent land to the east. The community is in the southwest part of the county, on the east bank of the Platte River. It is bordered to the north, across [[{U.S. Route 6 in Nebraska|U.S. Route 6]] (US 6), by the CDP of Beacon View. US 6 leads northeast 7 miles (11 km) to Gretna and southwest 3.5 miles (5.6 km) to Nebraska. Omaha is 28 miles (45 km) to the northeast. The community was first listed as a CDP prior to the 2020 census.

Camp Ashland, Nebraska is an Army National Guard facility located near Ashland, Nebraska, United States, along the Platte River. The camp has been in use by the Nebraska National Guard for more than 100 years. The camp is currently home to the 209th Regimental Training Institute. Year-round training is conducted at Camp Ashland, and it is considered one of the midwest's most important military training centers, with 80,000 to 100,000 service members training at the camp every year. Each weekend can see anywhere from 300 to 1,000 troops at the camp, above and beyond the service members attending schools there.

Salt Creek (Pawnee: Káʾit Kiicuʾ) is a tributary of the Platte River, located in Saunders, Cass, and Lancaster counties in southeast Nebraska. It is approximately 44.38 miles (71.42 km) in length. Salt Creek begins in southern Lancaster county and flows north to connect to the Platte River at Mahoney State Park in Ashland.

Eugene T. Mahoney State Park is a public recreation area located on the Platte River, off Interstate 80, approximately four miles (6.4 km) east of Ashland, Nebraska. The state park features lodging and conferencing facilities, an aquatic center, marina, multi-purpose trails, the Kountze Memorial Theater, multiple facilities for event rentals, and a 70-foot (21 m) observation tower overlooking the Platte River Valley.

The Holy Family Shrine is a Roman Catholic shrine located along Interstate 80 outside of Omaha, Nebraska, near the town of Gretna.

The Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum is a museum focusing on aircraft and nuclear missiles of the United States Air Force during the Cold War. It is located near Ashland, Nebraska, along Interstate 80 southwest of Omaha. The objective of the museum is to preserve and display historic aircraft, missiles, and space vehicles, and provide educational resources.

The Israel Beetison House, located southeast of Ashland, Nebraska, was built in 1874. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977, and was delisted in 2023.Its 1976 NRHP nomination states that it "stands as one of the fine examples of the Italianate style of architecture in Nebraska. Due to the economic hardship associated with the settlement of a wilderness territory, the Greek and Gothic Revivals saw very little development in Nebraska before they had passed out of favor. The Italianate was probably the first style in the state to gain widespread popularity."The house has been destroyed in a fire on April 12, 2022. The house was demolished on May 2, 2022

The Ashland Bridge in Ashland, Nebraska, also known as Silver Street Bridge, is a pony truss bridge that was built in 1936. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992, and was delisted in 2023.At the time of its listing, it was notable as one of just two surviving Warren truss bridges in Nebraska.

The Ashland Public Library is a historic building in Ashland, Nebraska. It was built by W.R. Shankland as a Carnegie library in 1911. Besides the $5,500 donation from Andrew Carnegie, its construction had much to do with the Wiggenhorn family: the land was donated by Mr and Mrs Wiggenhorn Jr., and the roof was donated by H. A. Wiggenhorn. The building was designed in the Jacobethan style by Fisher & Lawrie, an architectural firm based in Omaha co-founded by Scottish-born Harry Lawrie and his American counterpart, George Lee Fisher. It has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since January 27, 1983.

Melia is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sarpy County, Nebraska, United States.Melia was named in honor of an early settler. It was a station on the Chicago, Burlington, and Quincy Railroad.
