Cass Street is a station on the River Line light rail system, located on Cass Street at Route 129 in Trenton, New Jersey. It is very nearly directly across Route 129 from New Jersey State Prison. Trenton Thunder Ballpark is located five blocks away down Cass Street, while both the Hamilton Avenue stop and CURE Insurance Arena are located a few blocks north on Route 129. Southbound service from the station is available to the various stops along the New Jersey side of the Delaware River, terminating in Camden. Northbound service is available to the Trenton Transit Center. The station opened on March 15, 2004, and is the southwesternmost River Line station in Trenton.

Roebling Machine Shop is located in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1890 and added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 4, 1997.

Nearly 1,000 people were at the Art All Night event located at Roebling Wire Works Building, in Trenton, New Jersey on June 17, 2018, when multiple people began to shoot at one another, with one individual killed and 22 injured.

Hamilton Avenue station is a station on the River Line light rail system, located on Hamilton Avenue in Trenton, New Jersey. The station opened on March 15, 2004. Southbound service from the station is available to Camden, New Jersey. Northbound service is available to the Trenton Rail Station with connections to New Jersey Transit trains to New York City, SEPTA trains to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Amtrak trains. Transfer to the PATCO Speedline is available at the Walter Rand Transportation Center. This station was not in the River Line's original plans, but was added when the public demanded a stop to serve the CURE Insurance Arena which opened in 1999 on the opposite side of Route 129.

In and Out Social Club is located in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey, United States. The building was built in 1893 and was added to the National Register of Historic Places on March 26, 1987. It was founded on September 2, 1889 for "social, intellectual, and recreative purposes." Its significance lies primarily in that the building was designed and built specifically for a social club based in the community. It largely retains its original appearance.

Capital Preparatory Charter High School was a charter public high school located in Trenton, New Jersey, that served students in ninth through twelfth grades from Trenton and Ewing Township. The school, which opened in August 2008, was shuttered in June 2011 in the wake of issues with its financial operations. An audit conducted by the New Jersey Department of Education's Office of Fiscal Accountability and Compliance found a $300,000 deficit, among other issues, and the school surrendered its charter in May 2011 after two 90-day probationary periods and will close at the conclusion of the 2010–11 school year.As of the 2010–11 school year, the school had an enrollment of 304 students and 19.0 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 16.00:1. There were 187 students (61.5% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 22 (7.2% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.

Trenton Thunder Ballpark, formerly known as Mercer County Waterfront Park and Arm & Hammer Park, is a ballpark in Trenton, New Jersey. It is the home park for the Trenton Thunder, a collegiate summer baseball team of the MLB Draft League. They were previously a Double-A level Minor League Baseball team of the Eastern League (1994–2020). For 2021, it served as temporary home of Triple-A East's Buffalo Bisons, as their regular stadium, Sahlen Field, was being used by the Toronto Blue Jays due to travel restrictions brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. The official seating capacity is 6,440.

The Mott School and Second Street School are historic former school buildings in Trenton, New Jersey. Together they cover the continuum of education in the area. The Second Street School, formerly known as the Nottingham Township School, was built in 1854 when public education was voluntary and non-standardized. The Mott School was built in stages from 1876-1911 during the era of institutionalization and centralization of public schooling. It continued in use until 1980.

The CURE Insurance Arena is a multipurpose arena in Trenton, New Jersey. It hosts events including shows, sporting events and concerts. The arena seats 7,605 for hockey and other ice events, 8,600 for basketball and up to 10,500 for concerts, family shows, and other events which makes it the largest arena in Central New Jersey. The arena is located next to, and served by, the Hamilton Avenue station on NJ Transit's River Line and New Jersey Route 129. It is managed by OVG360 a division of Oak View Group.

John A. Roebling's Sons Company, Trenton N.J., Block 3 is the northern portion of the former Roebling manufacturing complex in Trenton, New Jersey. The buildings date from 1908–1929 and the site was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 22, 2012.

The Old Eagle Tavern (historically known as the Eagle Tavern) is a historic building located at 431, 433 South Broad Street at the corner of Ferry Street in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. The building was built in 1765 by Robert Waln. The building operated as a tavern and hotel from 1765 to 1896. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 3, 1972 for its architectural, commercial, and political significance. The building is also a contributing property of the Trenton Ferry Historic District, which was listed on June 26, 2013.

South Trenton is a neighborhood located within the city of Trenton in Mercer County, in the U.S. state of New Jersey. It is home to Italian Americans, Latin Americans, Irish Americans and their descendants. South Trenton borders Hamilton Township to the southeast and the Delaware River to the west. It had a brief existence as an independent municipality from 1840 to 1851. South Trenton was incorporated as a borough by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on February 28, 1840, from portions of Nottingham Township. The borough was annexed by Trenton on April 14, 1851.South Trenton is home to Trenton's Chambersburg neighborhood also known as The 'Burg'. Its population includes a large immigrant community from Poland, Slovakia, Ireland, Hungary, Ukraine, and Germany, though eventually mostly Italian immigrants and their offspring came to dominate the neighborhood, and it has since been known for its Italian-American population. It is also known for being the Restaurant District of Trenton with many of the restaurants in the neighborhood specializing in Italian cuisine. Chambersburg also hosts the annual Italian celebration called the Feast of Madonna or the Feast of Lights, further reflecting its cultural and religious roots. In recent years, South Trenton has been experiencing a sharp rise in residents from Latin America, especially Puerto Rico. There are still large concentrations of Puerto Ricans in South Trenton. More recently, Guatemalan, Costa Rican, and Ecuadorian immigrants have come to the neighborhood. Many have set up new stores and businesses alongside Italian-Americans. Today, South Broad St. in South Trenton is home to Trenton's largest population of Latinos.
