North Shippen–Tobacco Avenue Historic District

The Teller Brothers–Reed Tobacco Historic District is an historic, American cigar factory and tobacco warehouse complex and national historic district located in Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

The Lancaster County Prison is a county prison located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, in the United States. It is located on East King Street in Lancaster City. The prison was originally built in 1851 and renovated in 1972. The present medieval-style building replaced the earlier prisons in 1851, with Fulton Hall, of the Fulton Opera House being built on the site of the earlier prison. The prison is still in active use. With over 5,000 admissions each year (and a similar number of discharges), Lancaster County Prison currently has beds for over 950 inmates, but has the capacity to accommodate more if needed.The majority of those currently detained are imprisoned pending trial, the remaining 40% having already been sentenced. Prior to 2013, sentenced inmates were charged $10 per day for their incarceration, under the Lancaster County Prison "prisoner cost recovery program", in operation since 1995. Since that time there has been a flat fee of thirty dollars collected at intake or billed to the inmate if they haven't any cash on hand.It was used for public hangings until 1912.

Edward McGovern Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built about 1880, and is a 2+1⁄2-story, red brick building. It is six bays by three bays and has a moderate pitched slate covered gable roof with gabled dormers. Additions were made with the building about 1910 and about 1939. The building houses the Lancaster Brewing Company restaurant. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

J. P. McCaskey High School is a public high school located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, United States. Located on the east side of Lancaster, it is named after John Piersol McCaskey, a local educator. The McCaskey campus consists of two buildings: J. P. McCaskey, which is usually referred to either as "JPM" or simply "JP"; and McCaskey East, which is referred to as "East". Also on the McCaskey campus are a number of playing fields (for soccer, baseball, softball, and field hockey), tennis courts, and a stadium. David H. Miller Tobacco Warehouse is a historic tobacco warehouse located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. It was built in 1900, and is a three-story, rectangular red brick building on a stone foundation. It is six bays by nine bays and has a slightly pitched gable roof. It housed local tobacco companies until occupied by the Lorillard Tobacco Company after 1938.It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990.

A. B. Hess Cigar Factory, and Warehouses is a historic cigar factory and tobacco warehouse complex located at Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The complex consist of four rectangular red brick buildings, three to five stories tall. They are the R. H. Brubaker Tobacco Warehouse including the Koenig & Co. warehouse (c. 1880-1881), the Franklin H. Bare Tobacco Warehouse (c. 1880-1881), and the A. B. Hess Cigar Factory (c. 1905-1908). The buildings have been converted to residential use. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. They are located in the North Shippen-Tobacco Avenue Historic District.

Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (Stevens Tech) is a public technical college in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. It offers twenty-two academic programs for about 1,200 students. It was named for Thaddeus Stevens, a nineteenth-century statesman. The college was founded in 1905 and is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
