Brampton Christian School, formerly Kennedy Road Tabernacle Christian School, founded in 1977, is a private school in Caledon, Ontario, Canada. It is owned by Kennedy Road Tabernacle.

Chinguacousy Township is a former municipality and present-day geographic township in the Regional Municipality of Peel, Ontario, Canada. In 1974, when Peel County became the Region of Peel, the township was split in half, with the northern half becoming part of the town of Caledon (previously a smaller township), and the southern half, along with the township of Toronto Gore, joining the Town of Brampton, which was then promoted to a city.Chinguacousy Township spanned from what now is Winston Churchill Boulevard to Airport Road, Olde Base Line Road to Steeles Avenue. Several villages were once located within Chinguacousy Township. In most cases only small remnants like churches and cemeteries of many of these former villages exist. Cheltenham is the largest preserved village, while Terra Cotta and Huttonville both have some historic buildings. Bramalea, Canada's first satellite city was developed in Chinguacousy Township beginning in the 1960s just east of the-then separate Town of Brampton.The Chinguacousy name lives on in present-day Brampton, including Chinguacousy Park, Chinguacousy Road, the Chinguacousy Concert Band, and Chinguacousy Secondary School (many places that were originally formed as a part of the Bramalea community). The township was named in honour of an Anishinaabe chief, Shingwauk (Ojibwe: Zhingwaakoons, meaning: "Little White Pine").

Loafer's Lake is a lake in Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel in Greater Toronto Area region of Ontario, Canada. It is in the Great Lakes Basin and lies on Etobicoke Creek.The lake is part of Loafer's Lake Park, a Brampton municipal park, which also has a recreation centre with parking. The Etobicoke Creek Trail runs past the lake through the park. Loafer's Lake Recreation Center is located at 30 Loafer's Lake Lane.

Heart Lake is a lake located in the northern part of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Heart Lake along with Teapot Lake (0.7 hectares / 1.26 metres (4.1 ft) depth) are kettle lakes with the latter being a unique meromictic lake. The area was opened for public use in the 1950s.

Heart Lake Conservation Area (HLCA) occupies 169 hectares (418 acres) in the Etobicoke Creek watershed, within the City of Brampton, Ontario. It is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). HLCA’s diverse ecosystem includes Heart Lake, the headwaters for Spring Creek, a wetland complex, one of the largest individual blocks of forest in the Etobicoke Creek watershed, and surficial geology of glacial till and river deposits.HLCA offers many activities to the public, including hiking, fishing, swimming, Treetop Trekking and more. The conservation area is open to the public from the end of April to Thanksgiving weekend, weather permitting. The opening of a Medicine Wheel Garden was celebrated May 20, 2010. It came as a vision from a male elder of the Anishnawbe Nation. Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Peel Aboriginal Network, Heart Lake Community Action Area Group and the City of Brampton, created the Medicine Wheel Garden (Gitigaan Mashkiki).

Fletcher's Meadow Secondary School is a high school located in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Despite the school's recent construction, its population is growing at a rate faster than the supportable growth rate. For the 2010 and 2011 school year the boundary for the school changed, thus dropping the student population by 300 students to a more manageable population of 1700 students.

The Brampton Fall Fair is an annual agricultural and entertainment event in Brampton, Ontario. It features agricultural displays, animals, 4H events, a midway, entertainment, demolition derby, and a Homecraft exhibit.

The Regional Municipality of Peel (informally Peel Region or Region of Peel, also formerly Peel County) is a regional municipality in the Greater Toronto Area, Southern Ontario, Canada. It consists of three municipalities to the west and northwest of the city of Toronto: the cities of Mississauga and Brampton, and the town of Caledon, each of which spans its full east–west width. The regional seat is in Brampton. Heart Lake Secondary School, commonly known as HLSS or Heart Lake, is a public secondary school in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is located at the corner of Conestoga Drive and Wexford Road. The school was founded in 1988 and is a part of the Peel District School Board. The school has 1150 students enrolled as of September 2019. Heart Lake has two SHSM programs in Arts & Culture and Information & Communication technology, as well as both extra curricular band, drama and athletics programs. The school has a strong relationship with its many feeder schools, including Robert H. Lagerquist Senior Public School, Alloa Public School and Cheyne Public School, working together for annual events and other activities throughout the year.

St. Edmund Campion Catholic Secondary School is a high school in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The school is operated by the Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board. As of now there are over 1,800 students enrolled in, and the uniform consists of a navy blue golf shirt, a navy blue golf t-shirt and navy blue pants. Additional uniform pieces include a rugby sweater, a Campion branded sweatshirt and a school sweater. Previously, the uniform consisted of khaki pants but this was altered in 2023.

Brampton West (French: Brampton-Ouest) is a federal electoral district in Ontario, Canada, that has been represented in the House of Commons of Canada since 2004. Its population was 170,422 in 2006- making it the most populous riding in Canada.The district includes the western part of the city of Brampton excluding the neighbourhood of Madoc. The electoral district was created in 2003: 72.8% of the population of the riding came from Brampton West—Mississauga, and 27.2% from Brampton Centre. As a result of the 2012 electoral redistribution, this riding lost just over half of its territory, mostly to Brampton South, with portions going to Brampton North. The Toronto Real Estate Board labels this section as "W24" in their studies.People of Jamaican ethnic origin make up 13.0% of the riding's population, the highest such percentage in Canada.

Brampton West is a provincial electoral district in central Ontario, Canada. It was created for the 2007 provincial election. 72.8% of the district was created from Brampton West—Mississauga while 27.2% was carved from Brampton Centre. The riding includes that part of Brampton west of a line following Hurontario Street to Vodden Street to Kennedy Road.
