Heart Lake Conservation Area (HLCA) occupies 169 hectares (418 acres) in the Etobicoke Creek watershed, within the City of Brampton, Ontario. It is owned and managed by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA). HLCA’s diverse ecosystem includes Heart Lake, the headwaters for Spring Creek, a wetland complex, one of the largest individual blocks of forest in the Etobicoke Creek watershed, and surficial geology of glacial till and river deposits.HLCA offers many activities to the public, including hiking, fishing, swimming, Treetop Trekking and more. The conservation area is open to the public from the end of April to Thanksgiving weekend, weather permitting. The opening of a Medicine Wheel Garden was celebrated May 20, 2010. It came as a vision from a male elder of the Anishnawbe Nation. Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Peel Aboriginal Network, Heart Lake Community Action Area Group and the City of Brampton, created the Medicine Wheel Garden (Gitigaan Mashkiki).

Heart Lake is a lake located in the northern part of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. Heart Lake along with Teapot Lake (0.7 hectares / 1.26 metres (4.1 ft) depth) are kettle lakes with the latter being a unique meromictic lake. The area was opened for public use in the 1950s.

It came into effect upon the call of the 42nd Canadian federal election held in October 2015.

Louise Arbour Secondary School is a high school located in Brampton, Ontario, operating under the Peel District School Board. It was established in 2010 to accommodate those who live in north Brampton between Sandalwood Heights Secondary School and Mayfield Secondary School. A social justice focus infuses all elements of the curriculum in order to support students to become socially responsible citizens of the world. The school offers a wide range of programs in all curricular areas along with Specialist High Skills Major programs in Arts and Culture as well as Hospitality and Tourism. Loafer's Lake is a lake in Brampton, Regional Municipality of Peel in Greater Toronto Area region of Ontario, Canada. It is in the Great Lakes Basin and lies on Etobicoke Creek.The lake is part of Loafer's Lake Park, a Brampton municipal park, which also has a recreation centre with parking. The Etobicoke Creek Trail runs past the lake through the park. Loafer's Lake Recreation Center is located at 30 Loafer's Lake Lane.

The Brampton Library, Springdale branch and Komagata Maru Park, designed by RDH Architects, is near the intersection of Bramalea Road and Sandalwood Parkway in Springdale, Brampton, Ontario, Canada. It is an example of " progressive organic architecture and urbanism that focuses on an experience set within the typical fabric of a North American suburb." Inaugurated in 2019, the opening of Brampton Library's Springdale Branch introduced a single storey structure. It rests on a triangular footprint of the library that optimizes the utilization of green areas. This interactive design is also new to RDHA's portfolio of libraries as they typically consist of linear forms and straight edges. The main structure maintains the integrity of the site's natural landscape and circulation as the structure was situated near the street to enhance its visibility. The organic perimeter connects the building with courtyards, while the topography resembles the ceiling and the mountainous green roof that extends throughout the interior space and blends with the park landscape.
