The United Synagogue of Conservative Judaism (USCJ) is the major congregational organization of Conservative Judaism in North America, and the largest Conservative Jewish communal body in the world. USCJ closely works with the Rabbinical Assembly, the international body of Conservative rabbis. It coordinates and assists the activities of its member communities on all levels.

The Permanent Mission of North Korea to the United Nations (officially Permanent Mission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to the United Nations) is the diplomatic mission of North Korea to the United Nations (UN) in New York.After North Korea became a member of the World Health Organization, it was entitled to observer status in the UN and thus could establish a permanent mission. The mission in New York was established in the fall of 1973. North Korea became a permanent member of the UN in 1991.The mission is represented by the Permanent Representative of North Korea to the United Nations. The current Permanent Representative is Kim Song. North Korea also has a mission to the UN in Paris and an Ambassador to the UN at the UN Office at Geneva. Since North Korea does not have an embassy to the United States, the mission is its only form of diplomatic representation it has in the country. In 2016, following the detention of US citizen Otto Warmbier in North Korea, the mission threatened to sever this "New York channel" of communication between the two countries. The mission also coordinates aid to North Korea by the humanitarian organization AmeriCares.Diplomatic posts in the mission are highly sought-after in the diplomatic corps of North Korea. North Korean diplomats are generally expected to earn money to pay their living expenses, with the state providing only for minimum operational costs of a mission. The UN mission is the only exception to this rule and living expenses are covered. Staff is paid a meager salary of $300 to $600 per month and need to employ various means to reduce their cost of living. Diplomatic staff live in a working-class apartment on Roosevelt Island. They commute to the mission by vans and shop together. Staff frequent fast-food restaurants near the UN headquarters and fish in the East River Park. Korean Americans who sympathize with North Korea may also cover some of the costs. Diplomats typically enroll their children in schools that specialize in teaching English, in hopes that they too could become diplomats stationed in the United States. When a high-ranking official leaves the mission, a farewell party is typically organized and they are expected to return to North Korea with gifts to the leader of North Korea.

The Beaux-Arts Institute of Design (BAID, later the National Institute for Architectural Education) was an art and architectural school at 304 East 44th Street in Turtle Bay, Manhattan, in New York City. It was founded in 1916 by Lloyd Warren for the training of American architects, sculptors and mural painters consistent with the educational agenda of the French École des Beaux-Arts.

The Beaux-Arts Apartments are a pair of apartment towers on 307 and 310 East 44th Street in the East Midtown and Turtle Bay neighborhoods of Manhattan in New York City. Designed by Raymond Hood and Kenneth Murchison, the Beaux-Arts Apartments were constructed between 1929 and 1930. The complex was originally designed with 640 apartments. The Beaux-Arts Apartments consist of two towers on East 44th Street; number 307 is on the north sidewalk while number 310 is on the south sidewalk. The two towers are 16 stories and are faced with limestone at the base, dark brick between windows on the upper stories, and light brick between each story. The top four stories of both buildings contain numerous setbacks, which form terraces for the upper-story units. The interiors largely consist of studio apartments measuring 22 by 13 feet (6.7 by 4.0 m) on average; they are lit by large windows on the outside. The ground floor of the south building, number 310, contains a cafe. The apartment complex was built just east of the Beaux-Arts Institute of Design, which had moved to the area in 1928. Plans for the apartment complex were announced in February 1929, with the buildings being financed by stock issues rather than mortgage loans. The buildings opened to residents in January 1930 during the Great Depression. The Beaux-Arts Apartments avoided foreclosure due to their financing arrangement and were initially popular among businesswomen. The buildings were sold to the Brodsky Organization in 1973 and the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the complex as a city landmark in 1988.

The Advertising Council, commonly known as the Ad Council, is an American nonprofit organization that produces, distributes, and promotes public service announcements on behalf of various sponsors, including nonprofit organizations, non-governmental organizations and agencies of the United States government.The Ad Council partners with advertising agencies which work pro bono to create the public service advertisements on behalf of their campaigns. The organization accepts requests from sponsor institutions for advertising campaigns that focus on particular social issues. To qualify, an issue must be non-partisan (though not necessarily unbiased) and have national relevance. The Ad Council distributes the advertisements to a network of 33,000 media outlets—including broadcast, print, outdoor (i.e. billboards, bus stops), and Internet—which run the ads in donated time and space. Media outlets donate approximately $1.8 billion to Ad Council campaigns annually. If paid for, this amount would make the Ad Council one of the largest advertisers in the country.Beyond advertisements across broadcast, print and digital, campaign efforts often include virtual panels, coalition building, and information sharing. President and CEO Lisa Sherman has referred to an evolving model that can reach Americans through both “an air game and a ground game,” which involves direct community engagement.In 2020, the Ad Council coordinated with partners across government, media, tech and health to disseminate messaging about social distancing, wearing masks and staying home when possible to slow the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. In February 2021, they announced the COVID-19 Vaccine Education initiative in partnership with COVID Collaborative and more than 300 partners.

The Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice (also known as 321 East 42nd Street, 320 East 43rd Street, or the Ford Foundation Building) is a 12-story office building in East Midtown Manhattan in New York City. Designed by architect Kevin Roche and engineering partner John Dinkeloo in the late modernist style, the building was one of the first that Roche-Dinkeloo produced after they became heads of Eero Saarinen's firm. The building consists of a glass-and-steel cube held up by piers made of concrete and clad with Dakota granite. The main entrance is set along 43rd Street. A second entrance on 42nd Street leads to a large public atrium, the first such atrium in an office building in Manhattan. The atrium contains landscaping from Dan Kiley and includes plants, shrubs, trees, and vines. Most offices in the building are north and west of the atrium and are visible from other offices in the building. The building was commissioned for the Ford Foundation, then the largest private foundation in the United States, after Henry Heald became foundation president. The Ford Foundation Building was announced in 1963 and completed in 1968 on the former site of the Hospital for the Ruptured and Crippled. Between 2015 and 2018, the Ford Foundation Building underwent a major renovation and restoration project, and it was renamed the Ford Foundation Center for Social Justice. The Ford Foundation Building has been critically acclaimed for its design, both after its completion and after the renovation. The New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission designated the building and its atrium as city landmarks in 1997.

The Permanent Mission of India to the United Nations is the formal title of the Indian delegation to the United Nations (UN). India was among the founding members of the United Nations and signed the Declaration by United Nations on 1 January 1942. India also participated in the United Nations Conference on International Organization and Diwan Bahadur Sir Arcot Ramasamy Mudaliar signed the United Nations Charter on India's behalf.
