Rigby is a city in and the county seat of Jefferson County, Idaho, United States. The population was 5,038 at the 2020 census, up from 3,945 in 2010.

Rigby High School is a four-year public high school in the western United States, located in Rigby, Idaho. Part of the Jefferson County School District 251, the approximate enrollment is 2,000 students in grades 9 to 12, from Rigby and surrounding communities. The school colors of RHS are maroon, white, and gold, and the mascot is a Trojan.

KIGO (1420 AM) is a radio station broadcasting a regional Mexican format. Licensed to St. Anthony, Idaho, United States, the station is currently owned by Albino Ortega.When it first came on the air in 1966 KIGO was on 1400 kHz. It moved to 1420 kHz in 2006.

Annis is an unincorporated community in Jefferson County, Idaho, United States. Annis is 4 miles (6.4 km) north-northeast of Rigby. The first settlement at Annis was made in 1879. The community is named for Ann Kearney, first post mistress, plus the first letters of the word "island".The name history of Ann Island becoming Annis is disputed. A plaque located at the old "Annis Little Butte Cemetery," currently known as "Little Butte Cemetery," reads in part: "Annie's Place" Annis March 1879, the first of many hardy, courageous pioneers" ... "First public building was a combined log post office and home of James and Anna Kearney. They forded "Dry Bed Channel" of Snake River to bring mail to their central place which became known as "Annie's Place." Kearneys applied for postal service in 1886 which was granted in 1896 but with the name of Annis." Plaque No. 419 erected by the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers in 1982. The Josiah Scott House, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is located near Annis.

The Josiah Scott House in Annis, Idaho was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.It is a one-and-one-half-story Colonial Revival stone house. It was during 1908-1910 by stonemason Alexander Whitehead using gray tuff stone from Menan Butte, with lighter tone stone used in quoins, sills, lintels, and the foundation. It has two brick chimneys.It was home of Josiah Scott, a homesteader whose patent on the land was completed in 1893.

Yellowstone Bear World is a privately owned drive-thru wildlife park. It is located in Rexburg, Idaho, 80 miles from Yellowstone National Park. It was established in 1998.The park holds over 8 species of wildlife indigenous to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Other attractions in the park include a small amusement park and a petting zoo. Yellowstone Bear World is the only wildlife park in the United States where guests can bottle feed bear cubs.

Henrys Fork is a tributary river of the Snake River, approximately 127 miles (204 km) long, in southeastern Idaho in the United States. It is also referred to as the North Fork of the Snake River. Its drainage basin is 3,212 square miles (8,320 km2), including its main tributary, the Teton River. Its mean annual discharge, as measured at river mile 9.2 (Henrys Fork near Rexburg) by the United States Geological Survey (USGS), is 2,096 cubic feet per second (59.4 m3/s), with a maximum daily recorded flow of 79,000 cubic feet per second (2,240 m3/s), and a minimum of 183 cubic feet per second (5.18 m3/s). It is normally transcribed without an apostrophe. The river is named for Andrew Henry, who first entered the Snake River plateau in 1810. Employed by the Missouri Fur Company, he built Fort Henry on the upper Snake River, near modern St. Anthony, but abandoned this first American fur post west of the continental divide the following spring.

It is one of two terrestrial radio stations owned by Brigham Young University-Idaho, which is an arm of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS). It has a radio format of classical music along with news and information from NPR. The main signal covers Eastern Idaho, with rebroadcasting stations around Idaho, Wyoming and Montana. KBYI has an effective radiated power (ERP) of 100,000 watts, the maximum for FM stations. The transmitter is in Menan near the Snake River.
