St. Michael's Hospital is a teaching hospital and medical centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1892, with the founding goal of taking care of the sick and poor of Toronto's inner city. The hospital provides tertiary and quaternary services in cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, inner city health and therapeutic endoscopy. It is one of two Level 1 adult trauma centres in Greater Toronto, along with the larger Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre. As trauma centres, both St. Michael's and Sunnybrook are equipped with helipads. It is one of several teaching hospitals of the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine and a part of the Unity Health Toronto hospital network.

Metropolitan United Church is a historic Neo-Gothic style church in downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is one of the largest and most prominent churches of the United Church of Canada. It is located at 56 Queen Street East, between Bond and Church streets, in Toronto's Garden District.

St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica is the cathedral church of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto, Canada, and one of the oldest churches in Toronto. It is located at 65 Bond Street in Toronto's Garden District. St. Michael's was designed by William Thomas, designer of eight other churches in the city, and was primarily financed by Irish immigrants who resided in the area. The cathedral has a capacity of 1600. John Cochrane and Brothers undertook the work on the stone and stucco ornamentation of the interior.St. Michael's Cathedral is a major building of faith in downtown Toronto. It was originally constructed away from the city's centre, but over time the city has grown to encompass it. It was constructed to better serve the growing Roman Catholic population of Toronto. It is a prime example of the English Gothic Revival style of architecture. On September 29, 2016, the feast day of Saint Michael the Archangel, the cathedral was elevated to a minor basilica.

St. Michael's Choir School (also known as SMCS, The Choir School, or St. Mike's Choir) is a semi-private Catholic choir school for boys from grades 3-12 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It is jointly operated by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Toronto and Pontifical Institute of Sacred Music, which manage the school's music curriculum, and the Toronto Catholic District School Board, which administers all other academic subjects, athletics programs, and extracurricular activities. The school is a member of the International Boys' Schools Coalition.St. Michael's Choir School trains choristers and musicians in classical and liturgical music through regular choral, music theory, and piano instruction, and optional lessons in music history, vocal, organ, classical guitar, and orchestral string instruments. Massey Hall is a performing arts theatre in the Garden District of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The theatre was designed to seat 3,500 patrons, but after extensive renovations in the 1940s it now seats up to 2,765.Massey Hall and the more intimate Eaton Auditorium were the only substantial concert venues in Toronto before the 1982 opening of Roy Thomson Hall. Massey Hall was designated a National Historic Site of Canada on June 15, 1981. The Hall closed in July 2018 for a two-year-long renovation including a new seven-storey addition and two smaller concert rooms.

Massey Tower is a new complex in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, being built spanning the block below Shuter Street, between Yonge and Victoria streets. The Northeast corner of the complex will add much needed backstage space to historic Massey Hall. To the south of the complex lies the historic Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres. The Yonge Street facade will use the 1905 Canadian Bank of Commerce headquarters, at 197 Yonge Street, vacant since 1987. The complex's tower will rise 60 storeys and stand 208.3 metres (683 ft) in height.The vacant space was once Colonial Tavern and was Yonge Street Theatre Block Park until 2015 when trees were removed. Access to this park was blocked on and off since 2007. The building's footprint is "S" shaped. Vehicles will be parked on floors three through eight.The building's developers are MOD Developments, and the building was designed by Hariri Pontarini Architects. The building is being constructed by Tucker HiRise.

The Mercury Club was a Night club that first opened on Dundas Street, near Bay Street, in Toronto, and then moved to 221 Victoria St. Harry Eckler of the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame was one of the owners of the Mercury Club, along with Joe Krol of the Football Hall of Fame and Sam Luftspring of the Boxing Hall of Fame. It was a very successful club, which saw top acts such as Henny Youngman, Vic Damone, Tony Bennett, Dick Clark, Billy Daniels and many more. It was also a starting point for many local musicians and entertainers who got their professional start during the 1950s and included such local and Canadian artists as Norma Brooks, The Viscounts Quartet, Marilyn Reddick, The Four Lads, the Four Sounds and others. In the 70s, Guyanese musician Dave Martins acquired the club, called it We Place, but was still locally known as the Mercury Club. It became home to his popular West Indian band the Tradewinds. The kitchen served curry chicken and beef that would blow your head off, and the band packed the place six nights a week.

The Elgin and Winter Garden Theatres are a pair of stacked theatres in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The Winter Garden Theatre is seven storeys above the Elgin Theatre. They are the last surviving Edwardian stacked theatres in the world.

Pantages Tower is a condominium and boutique hotel at 200-210 Victoria Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The building is located near the Ed Mirvish Theatre at 244 Victoria Street, which opened in 1920 as the Pantages Theater. The hotel is known as the Pantages Hotel, and its main entrance is situated at 200 Victoria Street. The condo units are in 210 Victoria. At 139.6 metres and 45 floors, the glass tower was completed in 2003. The Postmodern tower was designed by Moshe Safdie and Core Architects Inc for developers Dundee Corp and Intracorp.

The historic building at 197–199 Yonge Street was formerly a four-floor Canadian Bank of Commerce building built in 1905 by architects Darling and Pearson and declared as a historical property by the City of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1974. The bank left the building in 1987. The bank address was 199 Yonge Street, the numbers still showing above the entrance. Next door at 205 Yonge Street is another historic site. The gap between the two sites was once the Colonial Tavern, demolished in the 20th century. It has been refurbished with 17,423 square feet (1,619 m2) of space. 197 Yonge Street will be preserved and become part of the Massey Tower project.

Mackenzie House is a historic building and museum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada that was the last home of William Lyon Mackenzie, the city's first mayor. It is now a museum operated by the City of Toronto's Museum and Heritage Services.
